Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a conditional social assistance program designed to reduce poverty in Indonesia, including in Budiman Village, East Jambi District, Jambi City, which has the largest number of PKH beneficiary families in the city. This study aims to analyze the socio-economic characteristics of the heads of beneficiary households, examine family consumption patterns, and investigate the relationship between the amount of PKH assistance and household expenditure while controlling for income. A quantitative-descriptive approach supported by qualitative data was employed. The study involved 88 respondents selected through proportional random sampling from a population of 113 beneficiary families, complemented by in-depth interviews with beneficiaries and PKH facilitators. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple linear regression based on the Keynesian consumption function, and partial correlation analysis. The findings indicate that most household heads are women with an average age of 53 years, characterized by low educational attainment and employment in the informal sector. Household income has a positive and significant effect on family expenditure, indicating that consumption increases as income rises, although the tendency to consume declines proportionally at higher income levels, reflecting a subsistence consumption pattern. Furthermore, the relationship between PKH assistance and household expenditure, after controlling for income, is weak and statistically insignificant, suggesting that PKH serves as a complementary source of financial support rather than the primary determinant of household spending. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening the economic empowerment component of PKH to improve the long-term welfare and financial independence of beneficiary families.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, fashion trends, comfort, and Islamic branding on consumer loyalty toward Napocut hijab products in Aceh. The population in this study consists of all consumers of Napocut hijab products in Aceh, with a sample size of 105 individuals. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression, with data processing conducted via SPSS. The results indicate that the product quality and fashion trend variables do not partially influence consumer loyalty toward Napocut hijab products in Aceh. Meanwhile, the comfort and Islamic branding variables show a partial and significant effect on consumer loyalty toward Napocut hijab products in Aceh. Simultaneously, the variables of product quality, fashion trends, comfort, and Islamic branding significantly influence consumer loyalty toward Napocut hijab products in Aceh. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.840 demonstrates a strong relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable at 84%. The coefficient of determination ( ) value of 0.705 indicates that product quality, fashion trends, comfort, and Islamic branding contribute a 70.5% influence on consumer loyalty toward Napocut hijab products in Aceh, while the remaining 29.5% is explained by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of economic growth, inflation, foreign direct investment (FDI), and unemployment on income inequality and to examine how income inequality influences educational attainment in Indonesia and Vietnam. These two countries were selected because they share similar characteristics as developing economies in Southeast Asia, including rapid economic growth, increasing inflows of foreign investment, and ongoing structural economic transformation. Despite these similarities, both countries continue to face challenges related to unequal income distribution and disparities in access to quality education. This study adopts a quantitative research approach using secondary panel data collected over a specified period. Panel data regression analysis is employed to estimate the relationships among the variables and to identify the most significant determinants of income inequality and educational attainment. The findings are expected to provide empirical evidence on the extent to which macroeconomic factors contribute to income inequality and how inequality affects educational outcomes. By offering a comparative analysis of Indonesia and Vietnam, this research enriches the existing literature and provides policy recommendations for fostering inclusive economic growth, reducing income disparities, attracting productive investment, and improving human capital development through more equitable access to education.

Abstract

Digital marketing and service quality have become important determinants of consumer purchasing behavior in the increasingly competitive food and beverage industry. This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of digital marketing and service quality on consumer purchase decisions at PT. Roti Ketawa Siantar Waka-Waka, Pematangsiantar, Indonesia. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method involving 100 consumers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS version 25. The analysis included validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests. The findings indicate that digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions (t = 2.231; p = 0.028), while service quality also has a positive and significant effect (t = 7.963; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, digital marketing and service quality significantly influence consumer purchase decisions (F = 120.872; p < 0.001), explaining 71.4% of the variance in purchasing decisions (R² = 0.714). These findings suggest that improving digital marketing strategies alongside maintaining high service quality can effectively enhance consumer purchase decisions. The study contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in the food industry and provides practical recommendations for business managers seeking to strengthen customer engagement and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Management Internship Program (KKM) and its contribution to improving students' professional competence at the Medan Amplas District Office. The background of this study stems from the need for higher education to produce graduates who not only master theory but also possess practical skills appropriate to the demands of the workplace, particularly in government administrative environments. This study used a qualitative descriptive method through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and direct observation of KKM participants and field supervisors. The results showed that the KKM program had a significant impact on improving students' professional competence. Improvements were seen in hard skills, such as understanding of government administration (88%), ability to use office applications (81%), and report preparation (76%). In addition, there was a significant increase in soft skills, including communication skills (92%), discipline (85%), and self-confidence in completing tasks (78%). Direct interaction with employees and the community and active guidance from field supervisors were key supporting factors in the program's effectiveness. However, the study also identified several obstacles such as limited supervision and high agency workload. Overall, this study concludes that KKM plays an important role as a contextual learning tool that is able to improve students' professional competence through the application of theory to real practice in the government environment.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Human Resource Management (HRM) is accelerating and reshaping how organizations attract, develop, manage, and retain talent. Despite abundant case examples and growing practitioner interest, academic findings remain fragmented regarding the antecedents (drivers), impediments (barriers), and organizational effects (outcomes) of AI-based HR transformation. This paper presents a PRISMA-guided systematic literature review of 112 peer-reviewed articles (2015–2025) to synthesize empirical and conceptual evidence on AI in HRM. Results identify three primary drivers: technological capability, strategic alignment, and a data-driven culture; three critical barriers: ethical concerns (bias, privacy, and transparency), skill and capability gaps, and resistance to change; and three outcome clusters: operational efficiency, enhanced employee experience, and elevated strategic HR contribution. We propose a socio-technical conceptual framework that models drivers moderated by barriers to outcomes, and we advance a research agenda focused on ethical governance, human–AI collaboration, capability measurement, and longitudinal evaluation. The review contributes to theory by integrating socio-technical and dynamic capability  perspectives and provides actionable guidance for HR leaders on responsible AI adoption.

Abstract

The use of Large Language Models (LLMs) in scientific research is becoming increasingly widespread, but presents epistemic risks that are not yet fully understood. This article discusses how the probabilistic mechanisms of LLM can produce outputs that appear correct and justified but are actually dependent on epistemic luck, thus resembling the Gettier case pattern. Through a conceptual study approach, this research clarifies concepts, analytically reconstructs the generative structure of LLM, and conducts a normative analysis of its implications for scientific accountability and authorship. The results of the analysis show that Algorithmic Gettier Cases (AGCs) occur when linguistic coherence deceives users and creates the impression of justification, even though the truth that emerges is statistical coincidence and is not supported by valid causal relationships. This condition poses a serious challenge to the attribution of knowledge and author responsibility in the production of academic texts. To address this issue, this article proposes the principle of Hyper-Justification Obligation, which is the ethical obligation for researchers to actively verify and causally reason every AI output before using it in scientific works. This research provides a theoretical contribution to understanding the epistemic risks of LLM and offers an ethical foundation for academic practice in the era of generative AI.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency has become a rapidly developing digital asset class that attracts widespread investor interest due to its decentralized, anonymous, and highly volatile nature. Such volatility creates uncertainty in market movements, making it important to understand the factors that drive fluctuations in returns. This research aims to examine how fundamental indicators namely price, trading volume, and market capitalization affect return volatility, as well as to determine which cryptocurrency demonstrates the highest market efficiency based on risk assessment. The study uses panel data covering the five largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, USD Coin, and Binance Coin) over the period 2019–2023. The analytical methods applied include panel data regression to identify the determinants of volatility and Value at Risk (VaR) to measure asset risk and efficiency. The findings show that price and trading volume positively and significantly increase return volatility, whereas market capitalization exerts a negative and significant effect, indicating its stabilizing role. Based on VaR analysis, Binance Coin (BNB) emerges as the asset with the highest market efficiency. The study concludes that fundamental indicators play a crucial role in shaping volatility and that BNB offers relatively better risk performance compared to its peers.

Abstract

Strengthening family-based microenterprises is one strategic approach to improving the economic resilience and independence of local communities. Family microenterprises not only serve as a source of income, but also as an important instrument in maintaining the social and economic stability of households. This study aims to describe the conditions of family-based microenterprises, identify obstacles to their development, and formulate strategies for optimizing family economics in Neighborhood I of Padangmatinggi Village, Padangsidimpuan City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. Research informants include family micro-business actors, village officials, and other related parties. The results show that family-based micro-businesses have a real contribution to increasing household income and meeting basic family needs. However, business development still faces limitations in capital, low financial literacy, limited product innovation, and minimal marketing access. Therefore, an integrated development strategy is needed that includes increasing human resource capacity, facilitating access to financing, utilizing digital technology, and institutional support from the local government to realize the sustainability of family micro-businesses.
