Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare requires hospitals to strengthen human resources that can adapt to technological change. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital capability and digital training on human resource transformation, with organizational agility as a mediating variable, in hospitals in North Sulawesi Province. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, involving 200 hospital workers who use digital technology in their work. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The findings show that digital capability has a positive and significant effect on organizational agility (β = 0.400; p < 0.001) and human resource transformation (β = 0.371; p < 0.001). Digital training also positively and significantly affects organizational agility (β = 0.395; p < 0.001) and human resource transformation (β = 0.133; p = 0.010). Organizational agility further contributes positively to human resource transformation (β = 0.374; p < 0.001). Mediation analysis confirms that organizational agility partially mediates the effects of digital capability and digital training on human resource transformation. These findings highlight the importance of integrating digital competence, structured training, and agile organizational systems to support sustainable hospital transformation in line with Dynamic Capability Theory and practical managerial needs.

Abstract

The low competence of apparatus in various regions, especially in the aspect of information technology and mastery of service procedure standards, is one of the main factors that cause the quality of administrative services to be not optimal and has not fully met the expectations of the public as service users. This study aims to analyze and describe the relationship between employee competence and the quality of office administration services in Ambon City government agencies. Data collection was carried out through a structured questionnaire distributed to  State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees who are directly in charge of the office administration service unit, with purposive sampling techniques using the Slovin formula. Employee competency variables are measured through three main dimensions, namely technical, managerial, and socio-cultural competencies, while service quality is measured using the ServQual model  which includes five dimensions, namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of the study showed that the overall level of employee competence was in the high category with an average score of 3.86 out of a maximum scale of 5, while the quality of office administration services was also in the high category with an average score of 3.80. The results of the correlation test showed a value of the Spearman Rank correlation coefficient of 0.712 with a significance value of p = 0.000, which was smaller than the significance level of 0.05, thus proving the existence of a positive, strong, and significant relationship between employee competence and the quality of office administration services.

Abstract

The performance of the Indonesian capital market during the 2023–2025 period experienced significant challenges and dynamic fluctuations. These conditions affected the performance of listed companies, including those included in the LQ45 Index. In this study, company performance is represented by firm value, which may be influenced by several factors, including investment decisions, dividend policy, and profitability. This study aims to examine the effect of investment decisions and dividend policy on the firm value of LQ45 companies during the 2023–2025 period, with profitability serving as a mediating variable. Firm value represents the primary objective of companies in conducting business activities and is influenced by various internal factors, including investment decisions, dividend policy, and profitability. The population of this study consisted of LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2023–2025 period. The sample comprised 27 companies that were consistently included in the LQ45 Index and distributed dividends to shareholders for three consecutive years. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on the SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that investment decisions and profitability have a significant negative effect on firm value. In contrast, dividend policy has a significant positive effect on firm value. Furthermore, investment decisions and dividend policy exert a significant positive influence on profitability. Regarding the mediating role of profitability, the results indicate that profitability does not mediate the relationship between investment decisions and firm value, nor does it mediate the relationship between dividend policy and firm value.

Abstract

Hong Kong's well-established financial platform has become a key driver of the international expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from mainland China. This article examines how Hong Kong's financial ecosystem—including capital-raising channels, trade finance, supply chain financing, investment facilitation, corporate governance frameworks, and global market access—supports SME growth and internationalization. The analysis identifies the types of SMEs that benefit most from these financial services, the primary purposes of the funds obtained, the organizational requirements for accessing financing, the advantages of establishing companies in Hong Kong, and the financing options available, including government-backed loans, initial public offerings (IPOs), and private financing markets. The findings indicate that Hong Kong's financial platform effectively reduces financing constraints, improves cross-border business efficiency, strengthens corporate governance practices, and enhances international competitiveness. In addition, the platform provides SMEs with greater credibility and access to global investors and business networks. The study concludes that leveraging Hong Kong's financial infrastructure can significantly accelerate the international growth of mainland Chinese SMEs and recommends strategic collaboration between enterprises and policymakers to maximize these financial and institutional advantages.

Abstract

Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong face intense pressure to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) for business development, yet many fail to achieve anticipated outcomes. This study proposes and theoretically validates a readiness-based model explaining AI adoption pathways. Grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV), the model posits that three independent variables—Talent Readiness, Financial Access, and Change Management—influence the dependent variable of Expected Outcomes in Business Development. Using an explanatory-correlational quantitative design with a target sample of 150 Hong Kong SMEs, this study details how Pearson and partial correlation analyses can be used to test the proposed relationships. Power analysis confirms that N=150 is sufficient to detect SMEs at α = 0.05. The study delineates distinct adoption pathways (transformational, incremental, futile, and stagnant) and assesses the SME's effectiveness in market expansion, revenue growth, and process innovation. The research indicates that SMEs in Hong Kong are recommended to adopt a stepwise approach. This approach involves first enhancing talent and change management capabilities, followed by securing funding, and finally implementing advanced AI. This readiness-first strategy is intended to position AI as a catalyst for business growth rather than a financial liability.

Abstract

The Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) of Malang Regency is a vital supporting agency in optimizing regional fiscal, but its budget management often faces challenges from macroeconomic fluctuations. This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of BAPENDA Malang Regency for the 2021–2025 period through the Budget Realization Report (LRA). The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach by analyzing the effectiveness ratio of Regional Original Revenue (PAD), the expenditure efficiency ratio, and the expenditure harmony ratio. The research findings show that the PAD effectiveness ratio tends to fluctuate but is highly adaptive; reaching a peak in 2021 (>100%) and soaring to 817.70% in 2025 thanks to innovations in digitalization of tax services. From the aspect of expenditure efficiency, budget absorption consistently moves high, ranging from 89.36% to 98.39%, reflecting optimal utilization of funds without any budget wastage. Meanwhile, the expenditure harmony ratio shows dominance in the Regional Government Affairs Support Program with an average of above 75%. This is considered reasonable and harmonious considering the characteristics of the agency as a revenue collector that relies on the capacity of the apparatus and digital administration systems. This study concludes that the financial performance of the Malang Regency BAPENDA is categorized as very reliable and adaptive, where strengthening internal expenditure allocations has proven linear in encouraging the optimization of regional revenue revenue achievement.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed financial and accounting systems, enabling organizations to process information more efficiently and support data driven decision making. However, the extent to which this integration improves the quality of decision making remains conceptually diverse in existing studies. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the integration of digital technology in financial and accounting systems and its implications for the quality of decision making. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach, involving a sample of 30 scientific articles published between 2018 and 2026 from reputable international journals. Data were collected through document analysis and examined using thematic analysis techniques, including data reduction, categorization, and interpretation. The findings indicate that digital technology significantly enhances decision making quality through improved accuracy, timeliness, and analytical capability of financial information. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of this integration is influenced by organizational readiness, digital literacy, and system alignment. The study concludes that digital technology acts as a strategic enabler in decision making processes when supported by competent human resources and effective implementation strategies.

Abstract

Business competition in the digital economy era encourages business actors to design adaptive marketing strategies through marketing mix optimization to form customer satisfaction and loyalty. In Ambon City, the characteristics of the archipelago market with a relatively high level of brand switching make the study of the influence of the marketing mix on consumer satisfaction and loyalty relevant to be examined, considering that comprehensive research in the context of Eastern Indonesia is still limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of products, prices, promotions, and distribution on consumer satisfaction, as well as the influence of consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty in Ambon City. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design of 30 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques, analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that only the distribution variable had a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction (β = 0.526; p = 0.018), while the product, price, and promotion were insignificant, with prices showing a negative direction. Consumer satisfaction was shown to have a very strong effect on consumer loyalty (β = 0.864; p = 0.000). It can be concluded that distribution efficiency is the main determinant of satisfaction in the geographical context of the archipelago, while satisfaction is the central bridge to loyalty. Business actors are advised to prioritize improving the logistics system, while further research is recommended to expand the sample and add moderation variables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the influence of consumer experience, brand image, and price perception on consumer loyalty in Grab's online transportation service using a quantitative approach. The study involved 103 respondents and employed various analyses, including instrument quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, f-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that consumer experience does not affect loyalty, whereas brand image and price perception positively impact consumer loyalty. These findings highlight that loyalty towards Grab's online transportation service is more strongly influenced by brand image and price perception than consumer experience alone. The study offers insights for Grab to optimise its brand image, maintain competitive pricing, and deliver excellent service to enhance consumer loyalty
