The time of the study was conducted in April 2023-March 2024. Methods: Data collection methods are using interview, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The number of samples was 27 respondents. The instrument used to measure insomnia level is the insomnia severity index. Progressive muscle relaxation is carried out for 20-30 minutes per session with a frequency of 3 times a week for 8 therapy sessions. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test. The majority of the sample is old elderly with an age range of 75-90 years (63,0%), don’t have comorbidities (51,9%), and have educational levels, namely no school, junior high school graduate, and high school graduate (25,9%). Abstract

Background: Working Memory is a memory system capable of analyzing information after receiving it and can then be displayed again (Nadira et al., 2023). Meanwhile, reading comprehension is a reading activity that involves cognitive roles in thinking, analyzing, and understanding a text (Tahmidaten & Krismanto, 2020). Thus, the ability of working memory is a cognitive component that can be related to reading comprehension ability, which requires cognitive roles in thinking. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between working memory and reading comprehension in fourth-grade students at SDIT Cahaya Hati Pedan, Klaten Regency. Methods: This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational research design and a cross-sectional data collection approach. The sampling technique was carried out using simple random sampling technique. Simple Random Sampling is a sampling of part of the population where each member has the same opportunity to be selected. This study used a sample of 55 4th grade students at SDIT Cahaya Hati Pedan, Klaten Regency. The collected data will be analyzed descriptively and bivariately. The statistical test used is Spearman Rank due to the non-normal distribution of the data (non-parametric). Research Results: The results of the statistical test, specifically the Spearman rank test, indicate that the abilities of working memory and reading comprehension have a significance of 0.000 (ρ value), where 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, Ho (null hypothesis) is rejected, and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. The strength of the relationship can be seen from the results of r = 0.589 these results indicate that the strength of the correlation is moderate and shows a positive correlation direction. Conclusion: This research concludes that there is a relationship between working memory and reading comprehension in fourth-grade students at SDIT Cahaya Hati Pedan, Klaten Regency. Abstract

Background: Rapid naming allows someone to speak language well and correctly in social interactions. Language problems often occur in children with special needs, especially children with autism spectrum disorders. Objectives: To determine the relationship between rapid naming and the pragmatic abilities of children with autism spectrum disorders aged 3-8 years at PLDPI Surakarta. Methods: Descriptive correlational research design with a sample size of 30 people using total sampling. Results: Rapid naming is related to children's pragmatic abilities, because to be able to interact socially well, children must first master vocabulary and rapid naming. When a child's vocabulary increases and their rapid naming ability increases, the child is able to form phrases, these phrases will develop into sentences and then a series of sentences will form a story. The faster the duration produced, the better the child's rapid naming ability. Conclusion: The ability to analyze clients with rapid naming problems in children with autism spectrum disorders is apparently still lacking. There needs to be strategic steps from professional associations to be more precise in analyzing and implementing rapid naming of children with autism spectrum disorders. Abstract

Background: When speaking, children with Down Syndrome often say words that are unclear and difficult to understand, this occurs because there are problems with their Oral Motor skills. Objectives: To determine the relationship between Oral Motor Skill and speech intelligibility in children with Down Syndrome in Surakarta. Methods: This type of research is quantitative research with a correlational descriptive design and uses a cross-sectional data collection time approach. In taking samples using a cluster sampling technique as many as 30 children. Results: Based on the results of bivariate analysis tested using SPSS Spearman Rank, a significant value of 0.001 was obtained, where the results were smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) in this study was accepted, which means there is a significant correlation/relationship between Oral Motor Skills with speech clarity in children with Down Syndrome. The magnitude of the correlation/strength of the relationship is shown by the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.562, which means it has a positive correlation in the medium category. Conclusion: Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Oral Motor Skill and speech intelligibility in children with Down Syndrome in Surakarta.
