Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal communication, compensation, and motivation on job satisfaction of employee of Bank Mandiri Branch of Jakarta Kota. The type of data in this study are primary or data derived from respondents. Design/methodology/approach- Dara collection can be done through a questionnare instrument. The population in this study were all employees in the Bank Mandiri area of Branch Jakarta Kota with a sample of 100 respondents and were randomly selected (Purposive Sampling), the method of anaysis used descriptive and quantitative methods. Findings- From the results of research on partial variables, the value of t arithmetic is greater than t table, then Ha shows and states there is a positive and significant effect between interpersonal communication, compensation, and motivation on job satisfaction. While the percentage of influence on interpersonal communication, compensation and motivation provided to employees of Bank Mandiri KC Jakarta Kota is 20,16. While the rest is influenced by other variables such as work environment factors and leadership style.

Abstract

Purpose- In any organization, both for profit and non-profit entities, Human Resources is very important. This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline, motivation and compensation on employee performance through work productivity at the Sari Pacific Hotel Jakarta. Design/methodology/approach- The sample involved was 250 people with a nonprobability sampling method from Sari Pacific Hotel Jakarta. The data of this study were obtained from distributing questionnaires. This research uses data validity test, reliability test with Alpha Cornbach coefficient, transforming data using MSI (Method of Successive Interval) technique, Malahanobies Distance Test. Classic assumption test, path analysis, normality test, multicollinearity test, linearity test, heterokedasticity test, path coefficient test, correlation analysist, mediation testing with sobel test and determination coefficient test to determine the effect either direct or indirrect between work discipline, motivation and compensation for employee performance through productivity as variables mediation. Based on testing the validity and reliability with Alpha Cronbach, the data is valid and reliabel. Findings- The results of this study are work discipline, motivation and compensation partially have a positive affect on work productivity, directly. Work productivity directly affects employee performance. Work discipline, motivation and compensation partially affect indirectly on employee performance through work productivity as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and organizational culture on employee performance with communication competence as a moderation variable in the Food and Beverage Divisionin Gran Melia Hotel, Jakarta. Design/methology/approach-The sample of this tudy was 73 employees at the Food and Beverage Division in Gran Melia Hotel, Jakarta. The sample technique usde is saturated sample due to limitation of staff’s number. Findings- The research result: 1) there is a significant direct effect of emotional intelligence variables on employee competency variables, (2) there is a significant direct effect organizational culture variables on communication competence variables, (3) there is a significant direct effect of emotional intelligence variables on employee performance variables, (4) there is direct significant organizational culture variables on employee performance variables, (5) there is a significant direct effect of communication competency variables on employee performance variables.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of communication, motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Hotel SwissBelinn Simatupang Jakarta. Design/methology/approach- The population in this study were employees who worked at Swiss-Beliin Simatupang Hotel Jakarta. The sampling technique uses saturated sample techniques and is obtained from 75 respondents. Data collection methods using questionnaires distributed to Swiss-Beliin Simatupang Jakarta hotel employees and analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. For the results of the validity and reliability test in this study has significant and real value. This research method uses quantitative descriptive. To test the classic assumptions in this study are tests of Normality, Heteroscedasticity, Multicollinearity, and Linearity to qualify for data. The collected data was then analyzed using SPSS version 20. Findings- It can be concluded that communication has a significant effect on employee performance by 92.4%, motivation has a significant influence on employee performance by 11.76%, the variable work discipline has a significant influence on performance employee. 10.82% and from this analysis it can be seen that Communication, Motivation, and Work Discipline have simultaneous effect on Employee Performance by 55.35% at Swiss-Beliin Simatupang Hotel Jakarta.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims is to determine the motivation, work environment and discipline effect partially or simultaneously to employee perfomance at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. Design/methology/approach- The population in this study are employees of Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. The samples used in this study as many as 100 people,on probability sampling technique by purposesive due to lack of time and fund. The data collection from respondents using accidental technique. Methods of data analysis used in this study is to test the validity, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test and linearity test). While testing the hypothesis includes the F-test, t test and partial correlation analysis and the coefficient of determination (R²). Findings- Motivation variable, work environment and discipline variable have the significant effect on the employee perfomance either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aimed to analyze the effect of motivation, work satisfaction, and leadership on employee performance at The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta in 2018. Design/methology/approach- The data were obtained from the presentation of data from the respondents (questionniare), and the result of other studies that relevan with the object studies, in this case the primary data from The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta. The method used is descriptive quantitative analyze, sample in this studies amounted 120 employee with a sampling technique that by using accidental sampling. The statistical used in this study is multiple regression analyze using SPSS 20. Findings- The finding of this study suggest that the motivation variable, work satisfaction and leadership simultaneously (together) and significally effect on employee performance in The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta in 2018. This is evidence by the result of the F test with a significance level below 0,05 and the result is 0 the meaning is the motivation, work satisfaction, and leadership variable are partially and significantly effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the result of t test, independent variable are affect each dependent variable if the significance level below 0.05. motivation with significance level of 0,031 and work satisfaction with significance level of 0,016 and leadership with significance level of 0,019. The most variable affecting employee performance is motivation.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aimed to analyze the effect of employee training, work discipline and motivation on employee performance either partially or simultaneously at Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel Jakarta. Design/methology/approach- In this research the sample used is employees of Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel consisting of 62 respondents, purposively due to time and cost limitation. Analytical technique using multiple linear regression including its classic assumption test. Hyphotheses testing by F, t test, coorelation and determination test . Findings- In this research the sample used is employees of Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel consisting of 62 respondents. Analytical technique using multiple linear regression. It was found that training had a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees of Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel Jakarta at 7.56%; Discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel Jakarta of 10.69% and the motivation variable has a positive and significant influence on employee performance of Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel Jakarta at 8.58%. The conclusion of training, discipline, and motivation simultaneously have significant influence on employee performance at Blue Sky Pandurata Boutique Hotel Jakarta that is equal to 63,04%, the rest equal to 36,96% influenced by other factors not discussed in this research, such as competence, compensation , leadership, appreciation, organizational culture and other things.

Abstract

The population in this study were employees of Hotel Morrissey Jakarta. Design/methology/approach- The sample used in this research is employees of Hotel Morrissey Jakarta as many as 100 people. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Data collection techniques using field research. The data were analyzed by validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedasticity test, linearity test) and multiple linear regression analysis while hypothesis testing included F test, T test and correlation and determination coefficient test (R2). Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of career development, motivation, and organizational commitment jointly or partially on employee job satisfaction, and to find out which variables most influence employee job satisfaction. The data used is primary data using a questionnaire. Design/methology/approach- The population of this study were all employees at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Jakarta Gandaria City. The sample was taken by accidental sampling as many as 100 respondents. The analytical tool used in this study is the test of validity, reliability and multiple linear regression. Findings- The results of this analysis mention that career development, motivation, organizational commitment simultaneously have a significant influence on employee job satisfaction at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel. And partially career development, motivation, organizational commitment have a significant influence on employee job satisfaction decisions at the Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the competency, motivation, work rotation affect partially and simultaneously on employee performance at Hotel 88 Mangga Besar. Design/methology/approach- The population in this study were employees at Hotel 88 Mangga Besar, with samples used in this study as many as 100 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Data analysis method used in this research is validity test, relicompetency test, classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and linearity test). While hypothesis testing includes F test, t test and partial correlation analysis and coefficient of determination (r²). Findings- From the analysis results can be seen that Competency (X1), Motivation (X2), and Work Rotation (X3) has an influence on both partial and simultaneous employee performance.
