Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the government in increasing the awareness of land and building taxpayers in Mamuju Regency and to determine the factors that influence the awareness of land and building taxpayers in Mamuju Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the government's role in increasing awareness of land and building taxpayers in Mamuju Regency is carried out well, but extension activities have not been evenly distributed. Indicators of improving services have not been implemented well in the Bapenda Mamuju Regency such as the lack of response from employees and the lack of infrastructure facilities provided. The Bapenda in Mamuju Regency has not given awards to taxpayers at all.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Innovation of the Integrated Personnel Information Management Application System (E-Pinisi) in BAPPELITBANGDA, South Sulawesi Province. This research includes descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions.The results showed that the Innovation of the Integrated Personnel Information Management Application System (E-Pinisi) in BAPPELITBANGDA South Sulawesi Province has provided innovation in realizing Good Governance, this is evidenced by Roger's (2003) innovation characteristic indicators, namely: 1) Relative Advantage, 2) Compatibility, 3) Complexity, 4) Triability, 5) Observability. that in general, the innovation of the integrated personnel information management application system (E-Pinisi) in BAPPELITBANGDA South Sulawesi Province is good, but it needs to be optimized on the Complexity indicator.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of smoke-free and limited smoking area policies. This research includes descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of smoke-free and limited smoking area policies in Jeneponto Regency. Judging from the four variables, namely, communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure in implementing the smoke-free and limited-smoking area policy, it is still not good and still needs to be improved from the indicators that the communication carried out is still unclear, budget resources and facilities are still inadequate. , the implementer's disposition is still not firm enough in implementing the policy and the organizational structure is still unclear and needs to be evaluated so that the implementation of the smoke-free and limited area policy runs well in accordance with the policy objectives. The suggestions for this research are to disseminate information more directly and clearly, increase supervision and apply strict sanctions, comply with and implement the smoke-free and limited smoking area policy.

Abstract

This paper aims to understand the Leader's Strategy in Improving Public Services in Tonasa 1 Village. To achieve this goal, researchers use data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained from the research results were processed using qualitative analysis to find out the leader's strategy in improving public services in Tonasa Village1. The results showed that the Leader's Strategy in Improving Public Services in Tonasa 1 Village based on several indicators, namely strategy formulation and strategy implementation has been running well, but still needs to be optimized on strategy control indicators. So it can be concluded that the head of Tonasa 1 village has carried out the strategy well. This can be seen from the Strategy Formulation that has been prepared and determined always involves the Head of RW and RT in order to know what constraints occur in the community and what is desired by the community, then the implementation of the strategy, after compiling and determining the strategy then implemented, the application that has been carried out is socialization and facilitating these activities, conveying if there are activities such as socialization and serving the community well,  then strategy control, strategies that have been formulated and implemented, then strategy control where the strategy of the Head of Tonasa 1 Village in improving public services has been successful even though there are still irregularities that occur in the community but have no impact on the quality of public services

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Good Governance-based services in the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The focus of this research is on the implementation of the principles of good governance, which refer to five indicators: Accountability, Transparency, Rule of Law, Responsiveness, and Effectiveness and Efficiency. Based on the research findings, it is known that in terms of accountability, the rule of law, responsiveness, and effectiveness and efficiency, the standards have been met. The accountability principle is considered good because the agency has operated according to the plan and continuously evaluates and reports accountability. The rules and regulations regarding employees are also sufficiently strict. The responsiveness to public complaints is also good, as evidenced by the existence of a complaint section that accommodates all public grievances. The services provided are considered effective and efficient because they are in line with the conditions and capabilities of both the service provider and the recipient, which greatly facilitates the public. However, in terms of transparency, the standard has not been met as the time and procedures do not adhere to the applicable service standards.

Abstract

This research aims to knowing the evaluation of the parking prohibition policy on the roadside in the city of Makassar (Case Study on DR. Sam Ratulangi Street, Mariso District). This research uses a Descriptive Qualitative approach. Data collection is done by technical Interview, Observation, and Documentation. The data analysis techniques used are Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Data Verification, and Drawing Conclusions. The results showed that the evaluation of the parking prohibition policy on the roadside ini Makassar City Study on the way DR. Sam Ratulangi Street, Mariso District it has been implemented but is not yet fully optimal because there are still several indicators that have not worked in accordance with William Dunn theory of public policy evaluation. In this research, the researcher examines using the theory of William Dunn (1999) and there are six indicators, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, alignment, responsiveness, and accuracy. Based on the six indicators, there are three indicators that are not good, such as adequacy, responsiveness, and accuracy, as well as three other indicators that have been running well, such as effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Transparency of Booty Auctions at the Jeneponto State Attorney's Office. To achieve the objectives of the study, researchers used data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained from the results of the study were then processed by using qualitative analysis. The results of this study illustrate that transparency in the auction of loot at the Jeneponto District Attorney's Office has reached a good level, although there are still some aspects that require improvement. This assessment is based on the evaluation of indicators of openness of service processes and complaint mechanisms that have been running effectively. However, one aspect that requires more attention is related to the ease of access to information. There is low public awareness regarding the implementation of loot auctions, which is an indicator that efforts to increase public knowledge need to be improved. Therefore, the Jeneponto District Attorney's Office is advised to introduce innovations in disseminating information related to loot auctions, including the use of online-based platforms, to achieve wider openness and allow more people to be involved and file complaints related to the conduct of auctions. This will help strengthen transparency, participation, and accountability in the loot auction process.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the comparative advantages that must be developed by each region. Takalar Regency is an area with a variety of tourism potentials, one of which is marine tourism. The Punaga beach tourism object in Takalar Regency is one of the tourism potentials in Takalar Regency that needs to be developed because it has the potential for stunning natural beauty but is inversely proportional to the number of tourist visits which are still very minimal, therefore an appropriate strategy is needed to support efforts to develop Punaga beach tourism objects. . This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation related to the research topic, then the data is processed using SWOT analysis to obtain a strategy for developing the Punaga beach tourism object. From the research results, several priority strategies can be formulated that can be used in efforts to develop Punaga beach tourism objects.

Abstract

Digital government or what is known as Electronic Government (e-Gov) has developed with the presence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This research aims to find out how effective E-Government is in the Population Identification Card (KTP) service at the Palopo City Population and Civil Registration Service. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection procedures used are observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data using Triangulation. The results of this research show that effectivenessE-Government The Population Identification Card (KTP) service at the Palopo City Population and Civil Registration Service is running less effectively. This research uses elements of success based on the results of studies and researchHarvard JFK School of Government which consists of three indicators, namelySupport, Capacity andValue. Based on these three indicators, indicatorsCapacity in the poor category refers to the capacity or ability of the Palopo City Population and Civil Registration Service in the form of finance, information technology and human resources who have expertise in the IT field which is inadequate in KTP services.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the policy of Village Fund management activities and one of the government's strategies to help villages become self-reliant and develop the potential of the community in terms of community empowerment in managing village funds. This study adopts a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are village officials and the community of Tojabi Village. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is then processed and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana method, which involves data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the community of Tojabi Village actively participates in the management of village funds through their choices of utilization and social benefits. The community's involvement takes the form of ideas, labor, and material resources.
