Abstract

The dream of a married couple always wants to be together until they die. Unfortunately, achieving that dream is not as easy as one would like, there are divorced couples living and dead. There are those who are strong in going through the problem, there are also running away from the problem. Bearing the burden of educating, raising, nurturing and providing living expenses until a child is successful is not easy. People who can survive in difficult conditions are great people. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause single parents to survive in difficult conditions. This research method chose a qualitative, phenomenological approach. The informant selection method used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using unstructured observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman models, namely data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The validity of the data uses a credibility test by increasing persistence and reading articles. The results of the study show that single parents are able to survive in difficult circumstances and can develop because the child has the right mindset and has an environment that is always supportive. the conclusion is no matter how difficult life can still survive because there is something to fight for. Impian sepasang suami istri selalu ingin bersama sampai meninggal dunia. Sayang, untuk meraih impian itu tidak semudah yang diinginkan ada pasangan cerai mati dan hidup. Ada yang kuat menjalani masalah tersebut, ada juga lari dari masalah. Menanggung beban mendidik, membesarkan, mengayomi dan memberikan biaya hidup sampai anak sukses tidak mudah. Orang yang mampu bertahan di dalam kondisi sulit adalah orang hebat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan single parent bisa bertahan di dalam kondisi sulit. Metode penelitian ini memilih kualititatif, pendekatan fenomenologi. Metode pemilihan informan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi tak berstruktur, wawancara tak berstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data dan penyajian data. Keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan meningkatkan ketekunan dan membaca artikel. Hasil penelitian, single parent mampu bertahan dalam keadaan sulit dan bisa berkembang disebabkan karena anak, mindset benar dan memiliki lingkungan yang selalu mendukung. kesimpulannya sesulit apa pun hidup tetap bisa bertahan karena ada yang diperjuangkan

Abstract

Abstrak. Layanan bimbingan klasikal merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang diterapkan untuk membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan self esteem mereka melalui sesi-sesi bimbingan yang sistematis dan terstruktur. Metode ekspositori digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi dan pengetahuan yang relevan secara langsung kepada siswa, dengan harapan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pentingnya self esteem serta strategi-strategi untuk meningkatkannya. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yakni bagaimana layanan bimbingan klasikal berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan self esteem dalam hal kesadaran hidup, penerimaan diri, tanggung jawab diri, keberanian diri, hidup dengan tujuan dan integritas diri siswa SMK Negeri Rowokangkung tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi pemberian layanan bimbingan klasikal yang dilakukan oleh guru BK terhadap peningkatan self esteem siswa SMK Negeri Rowokangkung tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi experimental design yang melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket self esteem, wawancara dengan guru bk, wakil kepala bagian kurikulum. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik independent t- test untuk menentukan apakah terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam tingkat self esteem siswa antara kedua kelompok sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya layanan bimbingan klasikal. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perolehan t hitung dari masing – masing pilar self esteem yaitu (1) dalam hal kesadaran hidup memperoleh t hitung 2,129.(2) dalam hal penerimaan diri 3,285. (3) dalam hal tanggung jawab diri 3,048. (4) dalam hal keberanian diri 2,956. (5) dalam hal hidup dengan tujuan 2,091. (6) dalam hal integritas diri 2,054. Dimana semua t hitung > dari t tabel 2,040 maka dinyatakan berkontribusi. Diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai kontribusi layanan bimbingan klasikal dengan metode ekspositori dalam meningkatkan self esteem siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penyuluhan berbasis agama dalam meningkatkan kontrol diri remaja di MA YPI Darul Huda, Lubuk Harjo, Palembang, di tengah paparan konten negatif di era digital. Seiring dengan meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi, remaja sering terpapar pada berbagai pengaruh negatif seperti cyberbullying, hoaks, dan konten pornografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus di MA YPI Darul Huda, yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam kurikulum dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan berbasis agama terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter remaja, meningkatkan kontrol diri, serta memberikan solusi terhadap dampak negatif teknologi digital. Abstract This study aims to examine the effectiveness of religion-based counseling in improving self-control among adolescents at MA YPI Darul Huda, Lubuk Harjo, Palembang, amidst the exposure to negative content in the digital era. With the increasing use of technology, adolescents are often exposed to negative influences such as cyberbullying, hoaxes, and pornography. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study at MA YPI Darul Huda, which integrates religious values into its curriculum and daily activities. The findings indicate that religion-based counseling is effective in shaping adolescent character, enhancing self-control, and offering solutions to the negative impacts of digital technology. Abstract

Inter-santri conflict is a dynamic that often arises in the pesantren environment, which if not managed properly can disrupt community harmony and the educational process. This study aims to analyse the application of deliberation and islah approaches in resolving inter-santri conflicts in pesantren. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that deliberation is effective in creating an open dialogue space, where each party can express their views and seek solutions together equally. The islah approach, which emphasises peace and restoration of relationships, is able to minimise the impact of conflict and strengthen ukhuwah among santri. The combination of deliberation and islah results in a resolution that not only resolves the conflict, but also builds justice, unity, and harmony in pesantren life. This research recommends strengthening the values of deliberation and islah in pesantren life through integration in character education and santri development programmes. Thus, this approach can be a relevant conflict resolution model, not only for pesantren, but also in a broader social context.

Abstract

Achievement motivation plays an important role in the success of the learning process. Special tips are needed to maintain or even increase achievement motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling with self-management techniques on students' achievement motivation. The method used is an experiment on one group taken from certain criteria. The hypothesis test used is the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of data analysis show that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) 0.042 <0.005. This shows that there is a significant effect of providing treatment using self-management techniques on students' achievement motivation. Several factors that influence achievement motivation include the physical environment in the form of body shape, parenting patterns such as military and democratic, social levels including status in society, and economic factors.

Abstract

Indonesia's compulsory education programme is for 12 years, starting from primary, junior secondary and senior secondary school levels as stipulated in Government Regulation No. 47/2008. For this reason, further schooling after junior high school must be implemented. In relation to further education after junior secondary school, this study discusses parental support for further education after junior secondary school. Overall, parental support aligned with the family counselling approach has the potential to create more inclusive, balanced and needs-based educational decisions. Thus, collaboration between parents, students, and counsellors is the main key in building a better future for students. The method used is the polling method by distributing questionnaires to students of SMP Negeri 2 Tulungagung class IX in the 2022/2023 academic year. The data collected are answers from 187 students (sample) who stated that parental support is important for continuing school after junior high school, parents provide advice or take part in determining the choice of further school after junior high school, your choice of school is the same as your parents' choice, parents support the school choice chosen by students, and further school after junior high school supports your future career plans.

Abstract

Self-concept is an image or individual perception that includes physical and psychological aspects such as appearance, potential, community acceptance, social interaction, views as a family member, hopes and ideals. Self-concept reflects the way a person sees and understands himself, including identity, feelings of self, and self-image. This study aims to determine the self-concept of adolescents who come from broken homes. The subjects in this study were 21 year old adolescents. This research is a qualitative research with the type of case study research using observation data collection methods, interviews, and documentation and using inductive analysis. Based on the results of the study it was found that individuals who come from broken home families tend to have a positive self-concept even though they come from broken home families. This can be seen from the self-concept aspect, namely that individuals have a fairly good physical appearance and behave according to their gender. In developing self-potential, individuals are good enough to do what they are interested in. Individuals are also able to face stigma and discrimination by society and within the community are also well received. In addition, the individual is highly valued and fully supported by the people around him so that he does not get worse from the problems he is facing. A positive self-concept leads the individual to have an orientation in the future, namely wanting to live a more appropriate life for the family that will be led in the future so that they don't feel what they are feeling at the moment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of teachers in instilling discipline and responsibility in students at MI Al Ma'arif Plandirejo Plumpang, Tuban. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of declining student discipline and responsibility as seen from lateness, violation of school rules, and low participation in academic and non-academic activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers play a strategic role not only as teachers, but also as mentors, facilitators, and role models in shaping students' character. The implementation of routine activities such as dhuha prayer, tadarus Al-Qur'an, joint prayer, and the habit of maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment have proven effective in shaping students' discipline and responsibility. The instillation of character values ​​is carried out through an exemplary approach, habituation, and giving responsibility to students in various school activities. Thus, the active involvement of teachers in the character formation process greatly contributes to the development of positive and characterful student personalities. Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to analyze the factors influencing students’ motivation and academic achievement in the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) subject at MI Al Ma’arif Plumpang, Tuban. The research background is based on the low motivation and participation of sixth-grade students in PPKn learning, which affects their academic performance. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that students' motivation and learning achievement are influenced by internal factors such as interest, attitude toward the subject, and students’ physical and psychological conditions. Additionally, external factors also play a crucial role, including the school environment, teaching methods, family support, peer interaction, and classroom atmosphere. Engaging and interactive learning, emotional support from teachers and parents, as well as a conducive learning environment, have been proven to enhance students' enthusiasm and academic performance. This study concludes that improving motivation and achievement in PPKn requires a holistic approach involving the active roles of teachers, parents, and the school environment in a synergistic manner. Abstract

KATA KUNCI: Konseling Kelompok, Self-Management, Motivasi Belajar Abstrak. Memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi merupakan sebuah keharusan seorang siswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan. Oleh karena itu sangat penting sekali meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa diperlukan pelaksaan dan penerapan teknik yang ada dalam bimbingan dan konseling, salah satunya dengan pelaksanaa konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management. Teknik self-management merupakan salah satu teknik bimbingan yang melibatkan penetapan tujuan, perencanaan, pemantauan kemajuan, dan evaluasi diri, diharapkan dapat membantu siswa mengelola proses belajar mereka secara lebih efektif. Adapun rumusan masalah secara umum dalam penelitian adalah Apakah konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa? Dengan rumusan masalah secara khusus dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apakah konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar intrinsik siswa? (2) Apakah konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar ekstrinsik siswa?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan tujuan khusus (1) untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar intriknsik siswa (2) untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar ektrinsik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni field research. Metode eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental designs dengan bentuk desain nonequivalent control, dengan teknik penentuan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: Angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan SPSS versi 25.0. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan hasil analisis Konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Plus Al-Mujahidi Gumukmas tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 memperoleh hasil t hitung 7,432 dan nilai sig. 0,000 (1) Konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar intrinsik siswa di SMK Plus Al-Mujahidi Gumukmas tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 memperoleh hasil t hitung 5,637 dan nilai sig. 0,000 (2) Konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar ekstrinsik siswa di SMK Plus Al-Mujahidi Gumukmas tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 memperoleh hasil t hitung 6,665 dan nilai sig. 0,000. Yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (nyata) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.
