Abstract

Bone Regency is one of the regions in South Sulawesi Province with a high-category flood disaster risk level, reaching a risk index of 164.46. This study aims to produce flood hazard mapping in Bone Regency using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach and fuzzy logic. The methods employed include Geomorphic Flood Index (GFI) analysis to identify areas prone to inundation, as well as weighted overlay techniques based on slope and distance-from-river parameters. The research results indicate that the total area with flood hazard levels in Bone Regency reaches 93,773.14 ha, dominated by the high-hazard class covering approximately 75% of the total hazard potential. The spatial distribution shows the highest risk concentration in Mare Subdistrict (10,920.15 ha), Sibulue (9,062.06 ha), and Cenrana (6,968.28 ha). Model validation against historical data demonstrates an accuracy rate of 90%, proving that the integration of GIS and fuzzy logic is effective in mapping flood hazard zones with high precision. The results of this study are expected to serve as a strategic instrument for stakeholders in planning more effective and targeted disaster mitigation.

Abstract

This article aims to examine innovations in Social Studies learning based on deep learning in developing students’ critical thinking skills. This study employs a library research method by collecting and analyzing various relevant scientific sources, including journal articles, books, and educational policy documents. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques to identify key themes related to the concept of deep learning, the characteristics of Social Studies learning, and its role in fostering critical thinking. The findings indicate that the deep learning approach emphasizes meaningful learning, active student engagement, and reflection on learning experiences, which aligns with the contextual and socially grounded nature of Social Studies education. The integration of deep learning in Social Studies can be implemented through instructional models such as project-based learning and inquiry learning, which promote analysis, exploration, and problem-solving of social issues. This approach has been shown to contribute to the enhancement of critical thinking skills through strengthening conceptual understanding, information analysis, and reflective processes. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited teachers’ digital literacy, pedagogical readiness, technological infrastructure, and a learning culture that remains oriented toward rote memorization. Therefore, comprehensive support from multiple aspects is required to optimize the implementation of deep learning in Social Studies learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of Pancasila as Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah from the perspective of national psychology and digital adaptation. The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed social interactions, communication patterns, and identity formation, particularly among younger generations. While digitalization provides opportunities for broader participation and access to information, it also presents challenges such as misinformation, polarization, and the weakening of national values. In this context, strengthening national identity becomes an important issue that requires an interdisciplinary approach. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving students, educators, and community members who actively engage in digital environments. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study integrates perspectives from ideology, Islamic thought, social psychology, and digital sociology to provide a comprehensive understanding of the research problem. The findings indicate that although individuals generally understand the basic values of Pancasila, their implementation in digital behavior remains inconsistent. The concept of Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah is implicitly reflected in participants’ perceptions but has not been fully realized in active forms of digital citizenship. Digital adaptation is found to have a dual impact, as it can both strengthen and weaken national identity depending on how individuals engage with digital media. Therefore, this study concludes that strengthening national psychology in the digital era requires not only cognitive understanding but also active and participatory engagement in embodying national values. This study contributes theoretically by integrating the concepts of Pancasila, Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah, and national psychology within the context of digital transformation. Practically, it offers insights for education, policy, and society in fostering a more adaptive and value-based national identity in the digital age.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing Learning Model on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of third-grade students of SD Negeri 098166 Perumnas Batu VI. This study is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study amounted to 25 students. The data collection technique used a multiple-choice test. Before being given treatment, a pretest was conducted with an average value of 57.92. After being given treatment using the Snowball Throwing learning model, a posttest score was obtained with an average of 87.36. This shows that the posttest score is higher than the pretest score so that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. The results of the normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test show that the pretest data has a significance value of 0.054 and the posttest is 0.056. Because both significance values are greater than 0.05, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. Based on the results of the N-Gain test, an average value of 0.7167 is obtained which is included in the high category. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test (t-test) obtained a calculated t value of 30.148 with a significance level of 0.000. Because the significance value is less than 0.05 and the calculated t value > t table (30.148 > 1.711), H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for third-grade students of SD Negeri 098166 Perumnas Batu VI in the 2025/2026 academic year.
