Abstract

Research-based learning is an effort to train students' scientific thinking in facing future challenges. The scientific way of thinking also requires students to be literate in order to ward off issues whose truth value is uncertain as well as to shape the character of Pancasila students. To overcome this problem, the government established the Independent Curriculum which implements project-based learning to grow the profile of Pancasila students (P5). This study aims to determine the effect of P5 on research culture among students. The benefit of this research is to motivate madrasa residents to carry out P5 activities well while at the same time stimulating a research culture among students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects in this study were 7th grade students at MTsN 28 Jakarta, totaling 192 students. The results of the study concluded that P5 learning can foster a research culture among students. However, the achievement in preparing research reports up to Chapter V has only reached 75%. Obstacles in research activities include: lack of confidence, difficulty finding references, lack of interest in reading and lack of time in processing data and making conclusions. Abstrak Pembelajaran berbasis riset merupakan salah satu upaya dalam melatih cara berpikir ilmiah siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Cara berpikir ilmiah juga diperlukan siswa untuk melek literasi guna menangkal isu-isu yang belum pasti nilai kebenarannya sekaligus membentuk karakter pelajar Pancasila. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, pemerintah menetapkan Kurikulum Merdeka yang menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk menumbuhkan profile pelajar pancasila (P5). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh P5 terhadap budaya riset di kalangan pelajar. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah memberikan motivasi kepada warga madrasah untuk melaksanakan kegiatan P5 dengan baik sekaligus menstimulasi adanya budaya riset di kalangan pelajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 7 MTsN 28 Jakarta yang berjumlah 192 siswa. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran P5 dapat menumbuhkan budaya riset di kalangan pelajar. Akan tetapi, pencapaian dalam penyusunan laporan riset sampai Bab V baru mencapai 75%. Kendala dalam kegiatan riset antara lain: kurangnya rasa percaya diri, kesulitan mencari referensi, kurangnya minat baca dan kurangnya waktu dalam mengolah data dan membuat kesimpulan.

Abstract

This study explores the concept of patience (sabar) as outlined by Ibnu Hajar Al-Asqalani in his book Badzlul Ma’un fi Fadhli Tha’un as a solution to overcoming learning difficulties post-COVID-19 pandemic. This concept is applied through the Strengthening of Pancasila Student Profiles Project (P5), a key component of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study analyzes Ibnu Hajar's views on tha’un, focusing on patience in facing calamities and practical steps applicable in educational settings. Within the P5 context, the concept of patience is integrated into the six profiles of Pancasila Students: morally virtuous, independent, critical thinkers, creative, collaborative, and globally minded. The findings aim to reinforce character education in Indonesia, providing students with a holistic and effective way to address learning challenges. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep sabar menurut Ibnu Hajar Al-Asqalani dalam kitab Badzlul Ma’un fi Fadhli Tha’un sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar pasca pandemi COVID-19. Konsep ini diterapkan dalam Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) yang menjadi bagian penting dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kajian pustaka untuk menganalisis pandangan Ibnu Hajar terhadap tha’un, yang mencakup prinsip bersabar dalam menghadapi musibah serta langkah-langkah praktis yang dapat diterapkan di lingkungan pendidikan. Dalam konteks P5, konsep sabar diintegrasikan melalui enam profil Pelajar Pancasila: berakhlak mulia, mandiri, bernalar kritis, kreatif, bergotong royong, dan berkebhinnekaan global. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat pendidikan karakter di Indonesia, khususnya dalam membantu siswa menghadapi tantangan belajar secara holistik dan efektif.

Abstract

Abstract Lack of motivation, unwilling asking capable colleagues, comfortable in their work position and lack of facilities have become problems for teachers in developing competencies. This research points to analyze solutions for teachers’ challenges in developing competencies in the Metaverse era. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative and purposive sampling was used to select informants. Data were collected through interview guides, observation guidelines and questionnaires. Data obtained from interviews and observations were analyzed through Miles and Huberman model. Meanwhile, data obtained from questionnaires were analyzed through descriptive analysis. Method triangulation was used to check data trustworthiness. The finding of this research reveals that teachers should improve their digital literacy skills by following training about Metaverse, pursuing education to a higher level, mastering foreign languages, reading books and research related to the Metaverse, being active in scientific forums, conducting research, and publishing articles related to Metaverse. The results of this study are expected to motivate teachers to use Metaverse in teaching.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process that develops active, creative, and innovative student skills is very important in today's era. So that students have 21st century skills that support their self-development. One technique that can be done in learning Jurisprudence is to be creative in making video presentations in groups. The problem raised in this study is how to apply Jurisprudence learning with the technique of making video presentations that are oriented to develop 21st century skills? The research method used was a quantitative method with the subject of research being 28 students of MAN Kotawaringin Timur class X Religion 1 and 2. Data mining using closed questionnaires and open questionnaires. Analysis of closed questionnaire data using percentages and open questionnaire data using descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that after students made videos and presented their videos, the average score obtained was very good (93), students' 21st century skills developed well, ranging from critical thinking and problem solving, creativity, communication, and collaboration (4C). In addition to these 4Cs, student learning outcomes are also very good, and encourage students to be enthusiastic about learning, interesting, fun, and get new experiences. Abstrak Proses belajar mengajar yang mengembangkan keterampilan siswa aktif, kreatif, dan inovatif sangat penting dilakukan di era sekarang ini. Sehingga siswa memiliki keterampilan abad 21 yang mendukung pengembangan dirinya. Salah satu teknik yang bisa lakukan dalam pembelajaran Fikih adalah dengan berkreasi membuat video presentasi secara berkelompok. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran Fikih dengan teknik membuat video presentasi yang berorientasi untuk mengembangkan  keterampilan abad ke-21? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa MAN Kotawaringin Timur kelas XII Keagamaan 1 dan  2 berjumlah 28 orang. Penggalian data menggunakan angket tertutup dan angket terbuka. Analisis data angket tertutup menggunakan persentase dan data angket terbuka menggunakan analisis deskriptif.. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah siswa membuat video dan mempresentasikan videonya, rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh sangat baik (93), keterampilan abad 21 siswa berkembang dengan baik, mulai dari critical thinking and problem solving, creativity, communication, dan collaboration (4C). Selain 4C ini, hal ini juga  mendorong siswa untuk antusias belajar, menarik, menyenangkan, dan mendapat pengalaman baru.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine wheter the utilization of Teachmint in guided inquiry learning can improve students’ scientific and digital literacy skills. The research design employed a quasi-experimental approach involving pretest and postest assessments. Guided inquiry was the instructional method used, with the experimental group utilizing Teachmint while the control group did not. The results of the data analysis using the t-test revealed significant diffirences in the levels of scientific literacy between the experimental and control group, with a value (Sig.2-tailed) of 0.000. The N-Gain test scores showed a higher growth in scientific literacy for the experimental group 71.0598 compared to the control group 58.2734. Thus, it can be concluded that Teachmint is highly effective in enhancing student’s scientific literacy when incorporated into guided inquiry learning. As for examining students’ digital literacy abilities using the t-test, the analysis yielded a value (Sig.2-tailed) of 0.623, indicating no significant diffirence between the experimental and control group in terms of digital literacy abilities. Descriptive analysis results suggested that the utilization of Teachmint improved the learning process due to its user friendly nature and comprehensive features for effective learning. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pemanfaatan Teachmint pada pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan digital siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental semu (quasi experimental design) dengan melakukan pretest dan posttest. Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah inkuiri terbimbing, dimana kelompok eksperimen menggunakan Teachmint dalam pembelajarannya, sementara kelompok kontrol tidak menggunakan Teachmint. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t, dan diperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi sains antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Skor N-Gain pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai 71.0596, sedangkan skor untuk kelompok kontrol adalah 58.2734, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Teachmint sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa melalui pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Namun, untuk kemampuan literasi digital siswa, analisis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig.2-tailed) sebesar 0.623, yang mengindikasikan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi digital antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Meskipun demikian, hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Techmint dapat mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran karena mudah digunakan dan menyediakan fitur yang lengkap untuk pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan Teachmint secara efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa dalam pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Namun tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi digital siswa anatar kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

Integrity is one of the pillars of the ministry of religion. Integrity must be built in every institution, one of which is in educational institutions. In addition to the integrity of the teacher, it is important to see how students grow with strong integrity to realize effective learning. This study aims to analyze the development of integrity and honest character in students at MAN 2 Pamekasan. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by observing and interviewing teachers and students at MAN 2 Pamekasan. The results of the study show that integrity and honest character in students are built by implementation in learning (set out in lesson plans and habits), extracurriculars (Scouts, Nature Lovers, and Youth Red Cross), and exemplary (teachers, principals, and educators). The implication of this research is that the integrity and honest character of students must be built to create an institution with integrity.   Integritas merupakan salah satu pilar kementerian agama. Integritas harus dibangun dalam setiap lembaga, salah satunya dalam lembaga pendidikan. Selain integritas dari guru, penting untuk melihat bagaimana peserta didik tumbuh dalam integritas yang kuat untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pembangunan integritas dan karakter jujur pada peserta didik di MAN 2 Pamekasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara kepada guru dan peserta didik di MAN 2 Pamekasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integritas dan karakter jujur pada peserta didik dibangun dengan implementasi dalam pembelajaran (tertuang dalam RPP dan pembiasaan), ekstrakurikuler (Pramuka, Pecinta Alam, dan Palang Merah Remaja), dan keteladanan (guru, kepala sekolah, dan tenaga pendidik). Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu integritas dan karakter jujur peserta didik harus dibangun untuk mewujudkan lembaga yang berintegritas.

Abstract

In the 21st century, technology and information developments have spurred education to adapt and improve the system. Education is not only aimed at providing knowledge but also improving various skills in an effort to produce a smart and skilled young generation. Instilling and increasing students' scientific literacy skills is an action that can be done. Scientific literacy is the ability to fully and accurately understand science so that the students have sensitivity to themselves and their surroundings and can make decisions based on scientific considerations. The research purpose was to analyze students' scientific literacy in biology learning. This research is quantitative. Data collection using test and non-test methods. The data analysis shows that students' scientific literacy abilities are in the medium category. The results are expected to be an illustration for educators to be able to make improvements in the teaching and learning process.
