Abstract

Supervision is an important component in efforts to improve learning achievement and teacher quality, professional teachers will produce good education outputs, this study examines supervision models, approaches and techniques for implementing supervision in the digitalization era. Data sources are obtained from library studies, articles, books, readings and other sources:   In the era of digitalization, supervisors must have and master professional aspects such as competence, leadership, character, communication skills, creativity, and commitment so that supervision can run optimally. In the practice of educational supervision, it must be carried out consistently and routinely, several approaches in educational supervision can be applied in carrying out supervision, namely direct, indirect, and collaborative approaches. A supervisor needs to understand various supervision models as a basis for knowledge and skills to carry out their supervisory duties.  Each supervision model has its own characteristics, so its use must be in accordance with the target being supervised so that supervision can take place effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia involves various institutions that play a significant role in nurturing the younger generation, including mosques and pesantren (Islamic boarding schools). This study aims to examine the role of mosques and pesantren as Islamic educational institutions in Indonesian society, as well as their challenges and contributions to educational development. A qualitative approach was used with a literature study, gathering data from various sources including books, journals, and related documents. The research findings show that mosques, in addition to being places of worship, also serve as effective centers of learning for the Muslim community, particularly focusing on education for children and adolescents. On the other hand, pesantren remains a vital educational institution, especially in rural areas, emphasizing religious and character education through traditional approaches. The collaboration between mosques and pesantren was also identified as an important effort to strengthen Islamic education, despite the challenges of modernization and social change that affect their effectiveness. This study suggests the need for enhanced integration between these Islamic educational institutions and adjustments to the changing times to increase the relevance of Islamic education in society.

Abstract

Tolerance education in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) plays a strategic role in shaping students' (santri) character to appreciate diversity and differences. This study aims to explore the implementation of tolerance education in traditional (salaf) and modern pesantren, as well as the efforts of these institutions in fostering humane behavior among santri. The main focus of this research is on the application of tolerance education models in both types of pesantren, along with social and religious activities that support the development of tolerance attitudes. Research result The salaf pesantren, with its more conservative approach, teaches tolerance through the reinforcement of manners (adab), ethics (akhlak), and respect for differences. Tolerance education in salaf pesantren emphasizes the internalization of character, including respect for differences in religion, culture, and social backgrounds. On the other hand, modern pesantren adopt a more inclusive curriculum, integrating values of diversity in both academic and religious teachings. Modern pesantren emphasize understanding pluralism and multiculturalism as part of developing a more open-minded character among santri towards differences. Pesantren’s efforts to address differences are internalized through social and religious activities, which provide santri with direct experiences in interacting with a more diverse society. This study shows that both salaf and modern pesantren have complementary approaches in cultivating tolerance. These two educational models make significant contributions to the formation of humane attitudes and respect for diversity in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Human Resources (HR) development in improving organizational performance amid the challenges of globalization and technological changes. As the dynamics of the labor market evolve, companies are required to adapt to current trends, including the adoption of new technologies, flexible work policies, and the development of global leadership. The results of the study show that companies that successfully adjust to these factors are able to significantly improve employee productivity and satisfaction. Furthermore, organizational culture and international regulations also play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and innovative work environment. A holistic and adaptive approach, integrating both local and global aspects, has proven to be key to successful HR management. These findings are expected to provide insights for HR practitioners in designing relevant policies to achieve the organization's long-term objectives. This research also contributes to the development of HR management theory by emphasizing the importance of synergy between technology, policies, and cultural management in addressing global challenges.

Abstract

Education in Islam emphasises gender equality, which is reflected in the obligation to pursue knowledge for every individual regardless of gender. qualitative approach with literature study design (library research) The results of the study are: The application of Islamic values in women's education has an important role in improving access and quality of education without gender discrimination. Islam teaches equality, justice and responsibility, which can open wider opportunities for women to develop knowledge as well as moral and spiritual character. By instilling values such as trustworthiness and responsibility, women are expected to contribute more to society and reduce the gender gap. Therefore, collaboration between the government, educational institutions and society is essential to create an inclusive education system that supports women's empowerment, so that women can play a vital role in building civilisation and achieving a more just and prosperous future.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the significance of helmet use for motorcyclists in the perspective of Islamic law. Using a descriptive phenomenological approach, this study found that wearing a helmet for motorcyclists on the road is mandatory. This regulation is the implementation of several nashas and fiqh rules that have long been formulated and used as a consideration in determining Islamic law. As stated in Article 57 paragraph (1) jo paragraph (2) of Law No. 22 Year 2009 on Road Traffic and Transport (Law No. 22/2009), wearing a helmet is an effort to protect life and mind as intended in maqashid Sharia. In addition, wearing a helmet is also an effort to avoid doing dlarar, as the hadith of the Prophet SAW which prohibits doing dlarar. Finally, wearing a helmet is a form of obedience to government regulations, in accordance with the command to obey ulil amri as long as it does not conflict with Islamic law as regulated in the text of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Children's education is a crucial aspect in shaping the character and future of a nation. In the Islamic context, the Qur'an provides very clear guidelines on how to educate children, emphasising the balance between scientific and moral education. This research aims to explore and analyse the concept of choosing children's education in the Qur'anic perspective, as well as its relevance in facing the challenges of education in modern times. The type of research used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The main data sources of this research are Qur'anic verses related to child education, interpretations of great scholars, and related scientific literature. The purpose of this study is to understand the guidelines of child education according to the Qur'an and provide insight into how to apply them in the context of child education in the era of globalisation. The results show that the Qur'ān emphasises two main aspects of child education: the formation of noble morals and the development of knowledge. The verses in Surah Luqman and Surah Al-Alaq show the importance of the role of parents in educating children according to religious values, as well as encouraging the pursuit of knowledge that is useful for life. This study also found challenges in implementing Qur'an-based education in modern times, which are influenced by technological developments and globalisation.

Abstract

The rapid development of modern economics often ignores the principles of justice and social welfare. In this context, the integration of fiqh muamalah values in modern economic practices, especially in the Islamic banking sector and other economic transactions, becomes very relevant. This research aims to examine how the values of fiqh muamalah can be applied in contemporary economic practices to create a fairer and more transparent economic system. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research, with a literature study approach and in-depth interviews. The main data sources came from fiqh muamalah literature, Islamic banking reports, as well as interviews with Islamic banking practitioners and fiqh muamalah experts. The results show that the principles of fiqh muamalah, such as the prohibition of usury and the importance of clarity in contracts, can be effectively applied in the modern economic system, especially in Islamic banking. The implementation of profit-sharing system that replaces interest (riba) proves the success of fiqh muamalah in creating fairer and mutually beneficial economic transactions. Nonetheless, the biggest challenge lies in adapting these principles in the face of global economic dynamics and technological developments. This research provides new insights into the potential of fiqh muamalah as an alternative in a more equitable and sustainable economic system.

Abstract

Academic anxiety experienced by pesantren students in facing assessment often disrupts their concentration and affects the quality of their learning. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of educational psychology interventions in reducing assessment anxiety in pesantren students. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The main data sources were obtained through in-depth interviews with 15 santri who experienced anxiety related to assessment, as well as pesantren managers who were involved in the implementation of the intervention programme. Data were also obtained through observation of the learning dynamics in the pesantren. The results showed that educational psychology interventions, which included relaxation techniques, stress management, and cognitive-behavioral approaches, were effective in reducing academic anxiety among santri. Students who received the psychology training showed a significant reduction in anxiety levels, as well as an improved ability to manage stress before exams. However, external factors such as social pressure from peers and family expectations still influence the level of anxiety felt by santri. This study suggests the need for a more comprehensive approach, involving the role of family and the pesantren community in supporting the management of academic anxiety.

Abstract

This research examines the application of the hermeneutic approach in progressive tafsir to understand ulumul Quran in the contemporary era. Progressive tafsir, which focuses on social, cultural and historical contexts, seeks to provide a more relevant understanding of the Qur'anic text. In this study, a descriptive qualitative approach is used to analyse how progressive tafsir is applied in responding to the challenges of the times, such as issues of gender equality, religious pluralism, and human rights. The research data sources consist of progressive tafsir texts and in-depth interviews with tafsir experts, academics, and practitioners of Islamic thought. The purpose of this study is to explore how progressive tafsir uses a hermeneutical approach to produce an understanding that is more applicable and responsive to social dynamics. The results show that although progressive tafsir has great potential in providing solutions to contemporary problems, public acceptance of this tafsir is still limited, mainly due to the dominant influence of traditional tafsir. However, this study confirms that progressive tafsir with a hermeneutic approach can make a significant contribution in developing Islamic thought that is more inclusive and adaptive to changing times, as well as renewing understanding of the Qur'an contextually.
