Abstract

Instagram is a photo and video sharing application that allows users to take photos, take videos, apply digital filters, and share them on various social networking services. Public figures, especially actors, actresses, influencers and Instagram celebrities, use Instagram as a platform to promote their various activities or works to their fans or followers. However, there are a lot of spam comments on these posts, both good and bad. This research obtained comment data from Instagram to be used as a dataset, namely from public figures, actresses and actors who have more than 5 million followers. By using preprocessing (data cleansing, tokenization, case folding and stopword removal) and TF-IDF for weighting, selecting the kernel you want to use and training the SVM model in the classification process. We need a system that can classify whether comment are spam or not spam. The method used is Support Vector Machine is a machine learning method that has the working principle of structural risk minimization aimed at finding hyperplanes or separators between two classes in an input space. From the test results it was found that the performance of the proposed an accuracy level of 96.82%, precision 94%, recall 92%, and f1-score 93%.

Abstract

Students' interest in reading at various levels of education has continued to decline in recent years. This decline in reading interest can have a negative impact on students' academic abilities and personal development. Therefore, increasing students' interest in reading is a major challenge in the world of education. To face this challenge, researchers developed a Literacy Information System Using the R&D Method at Gema Pelita Vocational School which aims to increase students' interest in reading through innovative technology-based approaches. The Literacy Information System that was built provides access to various reading materials according to students' reading interests. Apart from that, there is also a literacy event feature which aims to develop students' writing literacy skills. This Literacy Information System also provides a recapitulation of student reading, graphs of student reading literacy progress, and literacy progress statistics to see the literacy progress of each student. With this Literacy Information System, it is hoped that students will be able to increase their interest in reading and be able to develop their creativity through the works they create.

Abstract

Industri kelapa sawit memiliki peranan penting dalam ekonomi global, termasuk Indonesia. Pemilihan bibit yang optimal menjadi kunci bagi produktivitas perkebunan. Di Sumatera Selatan, PT. Pinang Witmas Sejati mengatasi tantangan ini melalui Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode Preference Selection Index (PSI) untuk pemilihan bibit kelapa sawit. SPK ini memfasilitasi pengumpulan, pengorganisasian, dan analisis data kualitas bibit serta kondisi perkebunan. Dengan memanfaatkan PSI, SPK memberikan rekomendasi bibit dengan pertumbuhan optimal, ketahanan terhadap penyakit, dan rendemen tinggi.Penelitian ini menghasilkan implementasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan berbasis PSI. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bibit dura berusia 10-12 bulan menduduki peringkat tertinggi berdasarkan skor PSI. Keunggulan bibit ini meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah pelepah yang memadai, diameter batang yang proporsional, serta ketahanan yang kuat terhadap hama. Temuan ini menjadi panduan berharga bagi industri kelapa sawit dalam memilih bibit potensial.

Abstract

Electrical energy has become one of the main needs in this modern era. Along with the development of technology, now people's activities have begun to use a lot of electronic devices which basically require electrical energy as a resource. Without realizing it, the more use of electronic devices, the greater the electricity bill that must be paid each month. The use of electricity in a boarding house often causes jealousy among the residents. Usually the boarding house owner is charged the same electricity bill by the boarding owner while the electricity usage is different. The main problem faced is the absence of a system that can read the electricity usage of each occupant of the boarding house. This makes boarding house owners unable to share electricity bills proportionally between those who are frugal and those who are wasteful. The monitoring system for electricity usage will help boarding house owners to be able to limit and share electricity bills proportionally among the occupants. This system is designed using the IoT concept with the ESP8266 module and the PZEM-004T sensor as a measuring tool. This system reads the occupants' electricity usage from time to time and the data is stored on a data server. Information can be accessed through a website that can present the results of the use of electric power by the occupants of the boarding house in the form of usage graphs along with the amount of electricity bills for each room in the boarding house.

Abstract

Poli Kiosk is a kiosk rental for the people of Yogyakarta, but the shop ordering process records customerdata manually. This Poli Kiosk rental in the management of rental transactions still uses a manual system.From the existing problems, the author wants to apply information provision technology that can helpmanage Poli Kiosk rental transactions. In developing a Website-Based Kiosk Management InformationSystem at Poli Kiosk Yogyakarta, the author uses the waterfall development method, with the UML systemmodel and system development using the programming language (PHP5) and (HTML5) and the Laravelframework. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the information system created couldhelp manage rental transactions and provide information on Kiosk rentals.

Abstract

The Image-Based Herbal Plant Identification System or DETAMO is an application developed to assist the public in identifying medicinal plant species. The method involves teaching about herbal plants using image processing technology, employing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture. The acquired learning serves as the basis for mobile-based plant identification. Research findings demonstrate sufficient accuracy in recognizing various types of medicinal plants and provide alternative recipes for utilizing these herbal plants. The proposed system also manages variations in images caused by differences in lighting, position, and plant growth conditions.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi yang terus berkembang, komunikasi menjadi semakin vital. Kemajuan teknologi membuka peluang baru untuk berkomunikasi secara internasional, mendorong kebutuhan akan kemampuan bahasa asing. Bahasa Inggris, sebagai bahasa global, memiliki peran sentral dalam komunikasi global. Namun, belajar Bahasa Inggris memunculkan tantangan, terutama dalam memahami hubungan antara pengucapan dan penulisan kata. Hal ini menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini. Penelitian ini mengusulkan metode baru berbasis deep learning dan arsitektur Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) untuk menerjemahkan gerakan bibir menjadi teks dalam Bahasa Inggris. Penggunaan teknologi ini diharapkan dapat membantu individu yang mengalami kesulitan memahami teks Bahasa Inggris saat diucapkan, meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, dan memungkinkan partisipasi aktif dalam situasi di mana pemahaman Bahasa Inggris lisan sangat penting. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan potensi sistem ini dalam mendeteksi gerakan bibir pada video dan menerjemahkannya menjadi teks, meskipun masih menghadapi kendala dalam variasi posisi mulut, wajah, dan perbedaan pengucapan. Meskipun demikian, implementasi teknologi ini dapat menjadi langkah awal yang signifikan untuk mengatasi kendala bahasa dan memfasilitasi komunikasi yang lebih baik di era globalisasi ini.

Abstract

Final assessments or evaluations can help us understand if our teaching methods are working. To get the most accurate results, we need to follow specific steps and methods when evaluating student learning. Teachers can use these evaluations to find out what students are struggling with and where they need more help. Choosing the best students can be a long and difficult process, especially if it's done manually. A computer system can make this process much easier and more accurate. The biggest problem in many schools is that they don't use technology enough, especially when it comes to evaluating students. SMK Mandiri is facing this same problem. The SMART method is a good way to use technology to evaluate students. It helps us compare students based on different factors like knowledge, skills, and behavior. We used this method to evaluate 20 students at SMK Mandiri. The students were ranked based on their scores. The top 3 students had scores of 152.5, 143.75, and 141.25.

Abstract

Enhancing the pronunciation proficiency of the Quran is of paramount importance in comprehending its content. Pronunciation errors can alter the meaning of Quranic verses, making accurate pronunciation a key to the correct understanding of Islamic teachings, particularly the Quran. Through the implementation of speech recognition methods in a digital Quranic application, individuals are aided in correctly reciting Quranic verses, thus providing an interactive learning medium. In this research, the author developed data using Neural Networks algorithms that mimic the way the human brain processes and retains information. The results of this study demonstrate that the utilization of speech recognition technology in Quranic learning can significantly improve pronunciation skills. It is hoped that this application can serve as a supportive system facilitating Quranic education.

Abstract

Asset Management Information System at STMIK Bandung (Case Study: STMIK Bandung), which is designed to build a system that can assist the Building Management Section in managing all assets at STMIK Bandung, As well as being able to assist the Building Management section in carrying out asset write-offs so that they are more accurate and efficient. The software development methodology used is the waterfall model for problems that happen in the asset processing process. The waterfall model was chosen because of the stages in it. For now, this method of asset management is effective because it can make the process of procuring assets easier for the section of building management and can assist building management in making decisions for asset disposal.
