Abstract

The Department of Archives and Library Services of Depok City has introduced a digital library service through the e-Perpus Kota Depok mobile application. This study aims to assess user satisfaction based on the quality of services provided. The PIECES Framework, comprising 6 dimensions: Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service, was employed to evaluate service quality. Using a descriptive-quantitative approach and purposive sampling, data were collected from 100 respondents in the context of an evaluative research study. The results were analyzed using IBM SPSS 25. Descriptive analysis indicates that the overall service quality of the e-Perpus Kota Depok application is categorized as satisfactory. This is reflected in high average scores, particularly for the Economy (4.45) and Performance (4.44) dimensions. These findings suggest that the application effectively meets users' needs and expectations regarding service quality.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a cloud-based backend system for waste classification, utilizing services provided by Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The development focuses on using Cloud Run as a serverless platform for running backend APIs, AutoML Vision as a machine learning-based image classification model, and Cloud Firestore as a NoSQL database to store classification results. The system is backend-only, designed to receive image input, process it through a trained classification model, and automatically store the results in the database. The methodology employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a quantitative data analysis approach. System testing was conducted using black-box testing and Postman API to verify that the system functions as intended. The evaluation involved measuring the classification accuracy of the AutoML Vision model, API response times, and data storage reliability in Firestore. The results show that the model successfully classified two waste categories (plastic and paper) with an accuracy of 90%, an average API response time of 1033 milliseconds, and consistent data storage without loss. The findings indicate that the developed backend system operates optimally and aligns with the research objectives. This system has the potential to be further developed into a cloud-based technological solution to support efficient and automated waste management.

Abstract

The advancement of media technology has significantly influenced various sectors, including education. This development encourages student organizations such as the Information Systems Student Association (HIMASI) to adapt in delivering information more effectively. This study aims to design an official website for HIMASI as an information and communication medium to improve the effectiveness of information dissemination to students. The research method used is User-Centered Design (UCD), which consists of four stages: identifying the context of use, identifying user needs, developing design solutions, and evaluating the design. In the evaluation stage, a User Acceptance Test (UAT) was conducted with 26 respondents to assess the level of user acceptance and satisfaction. The results showed an average score of 92.46%, indicating a very high level of satisfaction. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the designed website meets user expectations and is feasible to be implemented as an official platform for disseminating information by HIMASI.

Abstract

Effective financial planning is an important aspect in supporting employee welfare. Within Nurul Fikri Academy, there is no integrated digital system that enables employees to conduct financial planning independently. This research aims to develop a web-based financial planning application designed to record, monitor, and analyze employee financial conditions. The application is built using the ReactJS framework for an interactive user interface and Firebase as the backend, providing authentication and real-time data storage. The development method used is Extreme Programming (XP), through the stages of planning, designing, coding, and testing. The main features of the application include financial calculators (emergency funds, pensions, and investments), user discussion forums, and financial education articles. Testing was conducted using Blackbox Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methods. The test results show that all features run well across various devices, with a UAT success rate of 90%, exceeding the minimum threshold of 80%. This application is expected to be an effective solution for improving employees' literacy and financial management skills in a structured, efficient manner.

Abstract

Communication barriers between the deaf community and the general public persist due to a limited understanding of sign language. This study aims to develop an Android application capable of recognizing static alphabet letters in the Indonesian Sign Language (SIBI) in real time to support inclusive communication. The application was developed using the Kotlin programming language and Jetpack Compose, and follows the Clean Architecture approach to ensure modularity and ease of maintenance. A machine learning model was integrated using TensorFlow Lite to enable optimal performance on mobile devices. The development process adopted the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, including stages of literature review, system design, implementation, and testing. Black Box testing showed that all core features functioned as expected. Furthermore, user acceptance testing (UAT) showed a satisfaction rate of 91.3%, indicating a positive perception of usability and interface design. This application is expected to serve as an initial solution to help reduce communication gaps between the deaf community and the broader society.

Abstract

Amora Computer Store is a medium-sized retail shop that sells all types of computers, laptops, and other computer accessories. Amora Computer Store still uses conventional methods for recording incoming goods, sales, company debts, and employee salaries. This research aims to manage inventory and sales in a computerized manner by building an Inventory Information System. The type of research used is Qualitative. Qualitative research employs numerical data such as texts, interviews, and observations to understand phenomena in depth. The research stages utilize the Waterfall method, which is a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method used for software development. The advantage of this method is that the resulting system development will be better because the system development is carried out in stages. This research uses the Laravel Framework, which is easy to implement with the MVC (Model, View, Controller) concept, creating a tidy data structure by separating the presentation from data processing. Based on the results of testing the system's functionality using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method by completing 70 testing scenario questions, a result of 97.17% was obtained, indicating that 68 scenarios functioned as expected, while 2.86% or 2 scenarios did not function as expected. In conclusion, the system's functionality operates as anticipated.

Abstract

A school website was an important tool for delivering information to the community effectively and efficiently. However, SDIT Harapan Ummat did not have an official digital platform that could be used for promotional purposes and to provide information about student admissions (PPDB). This research aimed to design and develop a school website based on the WordPress CMS as a medium for disseminating information and promoting SDIT Harapan Ummat. The development method used in this study was the waterfall model, which included requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance. The tools used included WordPress, Elementor, and Table Addons for Elementor. The testing phase involved two methods: black box testing to verify system functionality and usability testing using a likert scale to assess user experience. The test results showed that all website features functioned properly and no operational issues were encountered. Usability testing conducted with five respondents resulted in an average score of 4.55, which was categorized as very good. Based on these findings, it was concluded that SDIT Harapan Ummat website was successfully developed according to user needs and provided a satisfying user experience. The website was also considered suitable to serve as a school information platform that was easily accessible to the public.

Abstract

In the digital era, fast, secure access to financial information is essential for companies to enhance operational efficiency and improve business decision-making. PT Leka Mandiri initially operated an offline financial system, limiting operational flexibility, especially for transaction processing outside working hours. To enable online access, a public IP address is ideally required; however, obtaining one is relatively expensive. As a solution, the company implemented Cloudflare Zero Trust, enabling secure access to the financial system without requiring a public IP address. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Zero Trust in overcoming access limitations without a public IP and its impact on PT Leka Mandiri’s operational flexibility. The test results indicate that the implemented system successfully handled financial transactions with a 100% success rate across various transaction types. Additionally, the system provides enhanced security through identity-based access control and real-time security analytics. Thus, Cloudflare Zero Trust has been proven to be an effective and economical solution for companies to improve accessibility and operational efficiency without requiring a public IP address.

Abstract

Social media plays an essential role in building communication between social communities and the public. The Gerakan Sedekah Subuh (GSS) community, which focuses on philanthropy by distributing donations to orphans and the underprivileged, initially lacked a digital platform, limiting its ability to disseminate information and gain public trust. This study aims to identify communication challenges faced before the community had social media, design persuasive Instagram content using the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), and evaluate its effectiveness in increasing brand awareness and engagement. Using a descriptive qualitative case study method, the research involved interviews, observation, and documentation, analyzed through Miles and Huberman’s model. Results show that the AIDA strategy successfully built message flow both visually and narratively. The average engagement rate reached 28.14%, with increased followers, reach, and impressions. Interviews confirm that audiences better understood GSS’s community mission and were encouraged to donate. Brand awareness reached the recognition level and tends toward brand recall.

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Terpadu Nurul Fikri is a higher education institution that utilizes the Academic Information System (SISKA) to support the efficiency of academic services. Although the system has been implemented, various obstacles are still encountered, including low user understanding, an unfriendly interface, and a lack of socialization. This study aims to evaluate the maturity level of IT governance in SISKA using the COBIT 5 framework, with a focus on the DSS02 domain (Manage Service Requests and Incidents). The research method uses an evaluative mixed-methods approach, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 164 active students and interviews with system administrators. The instruments were developed based on the seven subprocesses within DSS02 and tested for validity and reliability. The results indicate that SISKA is at capability level 3 (Established Process), while the expected level is 4 (Predictable Process), resulting in a GAP of 1. These findings suggest that governance processes are consistent and well-documented, but still require strengthening in monitoring, reporting, data-based evaluation, and improving the quality of system socialization to users.
