Abstract

Human Resource (HR) Planning is part of the management process that determines the movement of an organization's human resources from its current position to its desired position in the future. HR planning is closely related to the supervisory function because it can be said that planning is a standard or monitoring tool for the work being done. The HR maintenance function is also essential because employees are the assets (wealth) of every organization, and they always play an active role in determining whether or not the organization's goals are achieved. The research was carried out at BB Biogen Bogor. The research analyzes the influence of planning, monitoring, and Maintenance of Human Resources on Employee Performance. This research uses a survey method with a descriptive and causal approach. The sample used was 98 respondents. The research results show that Planning, Supervision, and Maintenance of Human Resources together have a real and positive influence with a contribution of 78.7%, and the remainder (21.3%) is influenced by other factors that are not central to this research.

Abstract

This research aims to address the issue of low learning outcomes among third-grade students at SDN 08 Batang Lolo, which were below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Observations revealed that the existing teaching methods, focused primarily on lectures and textbook usage, led to student disengagement and lack of motivation. To enhance student engagement and learning effectiveness, a TPACK-based scientific approach was proposed. This method integrates Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), which encompasses technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge, facilitating a more dynamic and interactive learning environment. The study employed Classroom Action Research (PTK) during the 2023/2024 academic year, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle involved planning, action, observation, and reflection stages to improve teaching methods and evaluate their impact. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. In Indonesian language content, student achievement increased from 53% in cycle I to 87% in cycle II, while in PPKn content, it rose from 73% to 100%. The findings suggest that a TPACK-based scientific approach not only improves academic performance but also encourages student activity and creativity. Recommendations include the adoption of multimedia tools like PowerPoint to enhance teaching and learning processes. This study serves as a valuable reference for educators aiming to integrate technology into their pedagogical practices, ultimately contributing to higher quality education.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of collage activities on the fine motor skills development of children in Group B at Raudhatul Jannah Kindergarten, Jorong Koto Baru Nagari Aie Winter, Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency. Recognizing that early childhood education significantly influences lifelong development, this research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) to enhance learning outcomes and address classroom challenges. The study involved 15 children (8 boys and 7 girls) during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, using observation and documentation methods to assess fine motor skill improvements based on the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture standards. The research comprised two planning cycles, implementation, observation, and reflection, with collage activities to stimulate fine motor skills. The results demonstrated a significant enhancement in the children’s fine motor abilities across both cycles. By the end of the second cycle, all aspects of fine motor development had shown considerable improvement. Additionally, the collage technique fostered cognitive development, brain training, and increased patience and interest among children. The findings suggest that integrating collage activities into early childhood education can effectively support the holistic development of fine motor skills and other related cognitive abilities. This approach provides a valuable method for educators to enhance early childhood learning experiences.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of principal supervision and leadership on teacher performance at Ulu Tulisi Private Madrasah Aliyah. The Indonesian government prioritizes improving education quality, and teacher performance is a crucial factor. Previous research highlights the importance of principal supervision and leadership for teacher performance. However, the effectiveness of these aspects at Ulu Tulisi Private Madrasah Aliyah remains unclear. This study aims to identify how principal supervision and leadership influence teacher performance at this madrasah. This quantitative descriptive research employed questionnaires and document analysis to collect data from teachers at Ulu Tulisi Private Madrasah Aliyah. The research instruments were assessed for validity and reliability using logical validity and Cronbach's Alpha formula, respectively. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data and determine the effects of principal supervision and leadership on teacher performance. The findings indicate that principal supervision and leadership are perceived favorably by teachers. However, only principal leadership has a statistically significant positive influence on teacher performance. These results suggest that the principal's leadership style plays a more prominent role in enhancing teacher performance at Ulu Tulisi Private Madrasah Aliyah compared to supervision practices.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research explores the social interactions and underlying factors contributing to child marriage in Rajek Dusun, Berang Village, Simpang Teritip District. Child marriage, defined as marriage involving individuals under 16 for women and 19 for men, remains prevalent despite legal prohibitions. The study employs interviews and observations to gather data from individuals, objects, and entities that provide relevant information. Findings indicate that socio-economic pressures, cultural customs, and lack of awareness about legal and health implications drive child marriage. The research highlights the adverse outcomes of early marriage, particularly for young women who face increased risks to their reproductive and mental health. Community perspectives reveal that traditional norms often override legal measures, perpetuating the practice. The study underscores the need for comprehensive community education programs focusing on early marriage's legal, health, and social implications. Collaborative efforts between local government and community leaders are essential to raise awareness and support young individuals in their transition to adulthood. By prioritizing education, health services, and vocational training, the community can work towards reducing the incidence of child marriage and promoting healthier, more prosperous futures for its members.

Abstract

This study utilized a descriptive survey design to examine the perception of teachers on the impact of COVID-19 on academic achievement among post-primary school students in Southeast Nigeria. Data were collected via a structured online questionnaire targeting teachers, comprising demographic details and thirty Likert-scale statements. The survey, distributed through social media, garnered 124 voluntary responses from July 3rd to July 20th, 2024. Initial data processing was done in Microsoft Excel, followed by detailed analysis in SPSS. Descriptive statistics and normality tests were conducted, and the Kruskal-Wallis and Jonckheere-Terpstra tests were used to compare group medians and test hypotheses. Ethical considerations ensured confidentiality and informed consent. Findings indicate that the shift to remote learning during the pandemic exacerbated existing disparities in access to technology, internet connectivity, and educational resources, particularly in rural areas. Lack of electricity and inadequate teacher training in digital pedagogy further hindered online instruction effectiveness. Students faced significant challenges with online learning platforms, home distractions, and decreased motivation due to isolation from the school environment. Language barriers and limited parental support also contributed to these challenges. However, the pandemic prompted innovations in educational delivery methods, highlighting the need for robust infrastructure and comprehensive training to support remote learning. The study underscores the importance of addressing these disparities and enhancing digital literacy to improve academic outcomes and resilience against future disruptions. Recommendations include continued investment in educational technology and support systems to bridge the gap between pre- and post-pandemic academic environments.
