Awal Bros Journal of Community Development
Awal Bros Journal of Community Development is a community service journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Awal Bros University. This Community Service Journal will be published twice a year. This journal contains publications of community service results from various fields of science that can be utilized or applied in the community environment for the welfare of the community. This journal contains various kinds of community service activities carried out by internal of Awal Bros University and external. Awal Bros Journal of Community Development with registered number ISSN 2746-0142 (online) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by LPPM Universitas Awal Bros Pekanbaru. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services, especially in the health sector.

<![CDATA[The Social Security implementation agency is a legal entity to administer social security programs to ensure that all people can meet the basic needs of a decent life. Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2011 concerning The Social Security implementation agency , it is stated that "Everyone, including foreigners who work for a minimum of 6 (six) months in Indonesia, is obliged to become a Participant of the Social Security program". There are still many people in Kulim Village who do not use The Social Security implementation agency Health because they do not know how The Social Security implementation agency health service system is and the benefits of The Social Security implementation agency Health are caused by a lack of knowledge and counseling about The Social Security implementation agency Health. The socialization activity was carried out in Kulim Village at the al-istiqomah mosque RW02. This activity aims to increase public knowledge so that they understand how The Social Security implementation agency Health service system is and what are the benefits of Social Security implementation agency Health and can use it as needed. <![CDATA[The referral system is the implementation of health services that regulates the delegation of tasks and responsibilities of reciprocal health services both vertically and horizontally. The referral system has levels starting from the first level health facilities, one of which is the Community Health Center (Puskesmas). Public understanding of BPJS Health, especially regarding the referral system, is one of the factors that influence the high and low ratio of referrals at the Community Health Center. With the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak, people in RW 003 Kulim Village are afraid to come for treatment at the nearest health facility. This statement was directly conveyed by local residents where they prefer to use natural herbal remedies that are chopped themselves. This is also related to the community's lack of understanding of the flow/tiered referral system in health facilities. In this article, the author describes the community service activities that have been carried out to increase the understanding of the local community about the Tiered Referral System in Health Facilities Community service activities carried out at the Nurul Ikhlas Mosque RW 003 Kulim Village, Kulim District. Before conducting counseling and finding the priority of this problem, the writer conducted a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method using a questionnaire with a total of 130 samples, with the accidental sampling technique in RW 003 Kulim Village. As for the results of this community service activity, the community already knows the flow/tiered referral system at health facilities and the requirements for their management.]]>

<![CDATA[All Indonesian residents are required to become participants in the health insurance managed by BPJS, including foreigners who have worked for at least six months in Indonesia and have paid contributions. The Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) is a legal entity that was established to administer the health insurance program starting operational on January 1, 2014. The public's lack of understanding of the use of BPJS and the BPJS registration process is a challenge to the perception of counseling. In this article, the author describes outreach activities to the community that have been carried out to increase public understanding of BPJS. The counseling activity was carried out at the Basyirul Amin Mosque, Kulim District which was attended by the community in the working area of the Tenayan Raya Health Center using lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. The public perception of the importance of using BPJS is very complicated and difficult to reach by the lower middle class and the community considers the BPJS registration process to be very difficult to understand. As for the results of this community activity, the community understands the importance of the purpose of using BPJS and the BPJS registration flow and the community in making good use of BPJS.]]>

Many people in Indonesia still do not use health facilities properly. Lack of knowledge about health facilities can give its own harm to people who are in need of emergency treatment, it is the duty of students to educate the public about this problem. Not without reason, a good level of public health will certainly have a positive influence on a prosperous life. Where a healthy community can perform various activities well. One of the ways to support optimal health is to provide health services, one of which is Public health center. The public perception about the Public health center is that there are still people who do not understand the importance of going to the Public health center. The problems faced at this time are the attitude that is less responsive to patients, less friendliness than the provision of services needed by the community, so that people feel dissatisfied every time they go to the hospital. Public health center. This is indicated by the number of complaints from the community both from health services and facilities and infrastructure at the Public health center and there are also complaints from the community about not recovering from their illness so that they do not want to go to the Public health center and choose other alternatives. This activity was carried out on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the community area of RW 004 Kulim Village, Kulim District Using lecture and question and answer methods. As for the results of this outreach activity, the community has been able to understand and change public perceptions regarding the importance of going to the Public health center for treatment. And the community also quite understands how important it is to go to the health center and want to go back for treatment to the health center without any worries.]]>

Many people are not aware of the impact of drugs on their mental health. These drugs not only cause mental disorders but can even lead to death. People who usually use drugs are people who can't solve their problems with a cool head. This proposal is made by describing what the dangers of drugs are, the factors that cause drugs, efforts to overcome drug use. Factors that cause drug abuse among family factors who do not pay attention to their children are also environmental factors that have a big influence.
