Abstract

Tourism is a vital economic sector in Indonesia, including in Jambi City, which contributes significantly to regional income and increasing employment. However, the management of tourist visit data at the Jambi Provincial Culture and Tourism Office is still done manually, making it difficult to obtain accurate information on tourist trends and their preferences. These constraints include the limitations of modern information technology and the lack of application of data analysis methods such as clustering, which hinders the effectiveness of strategic decision making. This study proposes the application of the K-Means clustering method to group tourist visit data based on characteristics such as tourist origin, purpose of visit, and type of destination. The Orange data analysis tool is used to accelerate the analysis and visualization process, resulting in in-depth and strategic insights. With the integration of Orange and Python, data analysis can be more flexible and tailored to needs. This approach is expected to improve the management of tourist visit data, help identify tourist patterns, and support more effective tourism development in Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to build a Criminal Data Processing Information System at the Office of Denpom II/2 Jambi based on VB Net, the research method is basically a scientific way to obtain data with certain purposes and uses. The research objectives can be determined based on the identification and analysis of problems from the previous step with the new system, namely the criminal data processing information system at the Jambi Denpom II/2 Office, the speed in making the required reports can be increased and the delays that have occurred due to the accumulation of data and the large number of data that will be processed in a short time can be handled quickly and precisely. By using a computer-based criminal data information system program using the Visual Basic programming language, it can automatically increase efficiency and reduce human errors. The design using computers and programs for making reports in the desired information will be faster because the data has been stored in files in storage media so that there is no repetitive work and if at any time the information is needed it can be tracked back or can be done right away.

Abstract

Schools are institutions for teaching students under the supervision of teachers. In formal education schools that are generally compulsory, in this system students go through a series of teaching and learning activities in schools. In a school there are courses in Art and Culture. To assist students in improving the understanding of the material conveyed by the teacher, by using interactive learning media that are currently highly developed in the world of education. That way researchers are interested in making Interactive Arts and Culture Learning Media at SMK 4 Jambi City. By using the Adobe Flash Professional CS6 application, Adobe After Effect.This application displays features of images, text, sound, animation, audio and is equipped with evaluation. This learning media application can help students in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of interactive learning media for the Indonesian language subject in Grade IV at SD Negeri 42/IV Kota Jambi using the Waterfall method. The Waterfall method was applied through steps like needs analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance, ensuring each step was done in an organized and systematic way. The interactive learning media was created using Macromedia Flash 8 and includes features like learning materials, animations, interactive quizzes, and interesting visuals to help students understand the content better. After development, the media was tested on 20 Grade IV students. The test results showed that 95% of the students were "Very Satisfied" with the use of this learning media, which means it not only helps improve understanding but also makes learning more fun and engaging for students. In conclusion, this interactive learning media has the potential to be an effective and enjoyable tool for teaching Indonesian in elementary schools.

Abstract

PT. Anugrah Berkah Grup is a car rental service company located in Jambi City. Since its establishment in 2022, the company has encountered administrative challenges, such as managing customer records, rental transactions, and financial reports, which are still conducted manually and lack integration with digital systems. This has led to inefficiencies and ineffectiveness in data management and business processes, potentially hindering the company’s growth. This research aims to design and develop a web-based car rental information system to help PT. Anugrah Berkah Grup manage customer data, transactions, and financial reports in a more structured and effective manner. The research utilizes the Waterfall methodology, covering stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. The result of this research is a web-based car rental information system that facilitates data management, improves efficiency, and enhances customer service. With this system, PT. Anugrah Berkah Grup is expected to optimize its operations and support its business growth in the future.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels which can cause various serious complications, including damage to the eyes, kidneys, heart and nerves. In Indonesia, this disease is one of the main causes of death, the increasing number of diabetes mellitus sufferers requires more efficient and accurate diagnostic methods to help manage and treat this disease. This research focuses on the application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) using the Perceptron method in diagnosing diabetes mellitus patients at Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital, Jambi. This system is designed to increase the accuracy of diagnosis, making it easier for doctors and medical personnel to determine the appropriate medical action. This research includes collecting symptom data such as age, family history of diabetes, feeling easily thirsty and hungry, physical data including checking the patient's weight, blood pressure and wounds. and laboratory results which include blood sugar, HbA1c and autoimmune tests from the patient. The data is then processed using the Perceptron method on ANN to produce a model for diagnosing types of diabetes, namely type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. The implementation of this method is carried out with the help of Matlab software. The research results show that the application of the perceptron method in ANN has a fairly high accuracy value in determining the target output and atctual output with a value of 100% using training data of 96 data from 120 data and 24 test data from 120 data.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has influenced business processes, including refill drinking water businesses. This study applies the Prototype Method in designing an e-business system for "Barokah" refill drinking water. The Prototype Method allows for iterative development based on user feedback, ensuring a system that meets customer needs effectively. The designed e-business system includes online ordering, transaction management, and customer service features to improve efficiency and accessibility. Through continuous evaluation and refinement, the prototype helps identify potential issues early, reducing risks in system development. The results indicate that the prototype-based approach enhances user satisfaction and business operations, making the service more efficient and competitive. This study demonstrates that implementing the Prototype Method in e-business design can optimize digital transformation in small businesses.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today has opened up opportunities for business people to utilize digital-based information systems in increasing product promotion. Aslamiyah Foods is a business that produces processed oyster mushrooms located in Sengkati Baru Village, Mersam District. Aslamiyah Foods faces obstacles in promoting its superior product, namely Aslamiyah Krenyesss Mushrooms. The promotion carried out so far is only by leaving products to several mini markets, participating in exhibitions held by the Batang Hari district government, as well as through whatsapp and instagram social media, but has not yet obtained optimal results. System modeling in this study uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams as well as the Prototype method which will be used in the process of designing promotional information systems. The results of this study are in the form of a Promotion Information System Dessign at Aslamiyah Foods, Sengkati Baru Village, Mersam District.

Abstract

Human activities cannot be separated from production and consumption activities which have an impact on the generation of waste, such as the use of plastic. Therefore, waste detection and sorting should be carried out at the initial stage of waste management to maximize the amount of waste that can be recycled. This research aims to apply image processing and deep learning algorithms in plastic waste classification, as well as testing the performance of the classification system. The research method used refers to the research stages, namely literature study, data collection, pre-processing, system design, implementation, testing, evaluation and data analysis. The research results show that plastic waste classification system obtained accuracy, precision, recall and F1 scores, namely 98.7%, 1, 0.98 and 0.99.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on student learning outcomes and task creativity in the Human-Computer Interaction course. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: a control class using conventional methods and an experimental class applying PjBL. Data were collected through final exam tests and a rubric-based assessment of UI/UX project creativity. The analysis results showed that the PjBL class achieved significantly higher scores in both final exams and task creativity (p < 0.05). It is concluded that the PjBL model is effective in enhancing students' understanding and UI/UX design skills in the Information Systems program.
