Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the leadership role of the madrasa head in growing and realizing a sense or attitude of caring for the teacher towards the institution he leads, knowing and understanding how sensitive and caring the teacher is towards the institution that shelters him, and how much the teacher's concern for his institution increases after the madrasa principal implements several ways. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The researcher seeks to investigate phenomena in real-life contexts by utilizing several sources closely related to formal educational institutions. In this qualitative research, the researcher acts as the main instrument (the instrument of choice in naturalistic inquiry is the human) and the data collector. At the same time, the data in this study were in the form of words, behaviour, documents and others regarding changes in the conduct of educators, educational staff and other staff, which were obtained using observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this study are in the form of main findings, namely: 1) Not forcing teachers to work beyond their abilities. 2) Empathize when the teacher has difficulties in carrying out their obligations. 3) Forgive teacher/employee mistakes. 4) Giving rewards or bonuses to teachers who have carried out their obligations properly. 5) Have a high sense of empathy for teachers who are experiencing a disaster. 6) Be open to subordinates.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is a system with the same intelligence as humans and is characterized by the ability to learn, adapt, solve problems, make decisions, and understand human language. Artificial Intelligence provides many conveniences in the world of education, such as using several systems such as virtual mentors, voice assistants, innovative content, smart classrooms, automatic assessment, and personalized learning. However, on the other hand, there is the ChatGPT system, an AI-based chatbot with the ability to produce text in various formats—whether formal, informal, or creative writing—that poses challenges in the world of education. The ease of ChatGPT in processing information from text input reduces the originality of work, so it tends to be uncreative. The ability of the Chat-GPT system to understand human language makes it very easy to write creatively, such as writing poems, short stories, novels, or other types of writing whose quality is equivalent to human work. Using the study of creative writing theory, this article aims to discuss the ChatGPT system and its impact on students' lack of creativity in writing skills. This article uses qualitative methods with library research data collection techniques by analyzing scientific journals and other articles relevant to the discussion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality management of human resources in increasing the professional competence of Ustadz at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. This study uses descriptive statistical data analysis and qualitative analysis. Sources of data come from observation, interviews, documentation, and Library Research. The results of the study show that quality management of human resources (HR) in improving the professional competence of ustadz at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School has been implemented in recruitment planning by conducting needs analysis, calling and selecting before starting teaching. Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid also places ustadz according to their scientific fields, and educational development is carried out by including training and providing opportunities to continue their education at a higher level.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the integration of Tariqoh in higher education as an effort to improve the quality of education and student development. Tariqoh, as a religious and spiritual approach, is considered to have the potential to have a positive impact on the formation of students' character, ethics and understanding of life in the academic environment. The research methodology used is a qualitative methodology with case study research. The data collection techniques used in this research are interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the research show 1) That Tariqoh is a routine activity that is part of the Student Activities Unit and is under the supervision of the MATAN Organization. 2) The MATAN organization is the core organization for implementing Tariqoh at Nurul Jadid University and is an effort to continue the preaching of the Prophet Muhammad S/A.W. 3) The implementation of Tariqoh is an effort to improve the quality of students in the religious field so that when students graduate or leave the university environment, students are able to accompany and even lead religious activities in the community. The integration of Tariqoh in the Islamic higher education environment is expected to be able to maintain Islamic values in the era of modernization.

Abstract

Supply chain management (SCM) is an integration of material procurement planning activities that can influence the sustainability of an institution. This research discusses the implementation of supply chain management (SCM) as a strategy to achieve sustainability in Islamic higher education institutions. By focusing on the products or results produced by the university. This research uses a qualitative case study type method. Data collection techniques are carried out circularly using three approaches, namely; l) participant observation; 2) in-depth interviews; and 3) documentation. The results of this research show that the implementation of supply chain management at Nurul Jadid University is focused on the preparation of the product itself or output (graduates) that will be marketed to the community in the form of students and research

Abstract

Efforts to integrate the curriculum were a strategy to combine various learning materials into subject units. This study investigates the curriculum implementation model employed the Nahdlatul Ulama Elementary School (SDNU) Banat Banin Lamongan which successfully combined the independent curriculum, the madrasah diniyah curriculum, and the Al-Qur'an for pre-elementery school or Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) curriculum  for their instruction. Meanwhile, the research design employs descriptive qualitative method, the data were obtained through interview, observation and documentation and then processed using qualitative interactive analysis through the stages of data condensation, data exposure and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the curriculum integration implementation model carried out by SDNU Banat Banin Lamongan includes 3 models; first, the school curriculum is a combination of the implementation of the independent curriculum plus the Madrasah Diniyah curriculum and the Al-Qur'an for pre-elementary school; second, implementing curriculum integration in the form of combining various learning materials into a learning theme; third,  the use of interactive learning methods and media applied by teachers in the instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to find out human resource management in improving teachers competence through the training of Qira'ati method in Al-Qur’an Kindergarten of An-Nadwah. The research method is qualitative descriptive method with case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants were the principal and 3 teachers selected by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using the concept of Milles and Huberman, namely data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The result of the study shows that teachers education and training is one of the most effective activities to increasing teachers competence. With the achievement of teachers competence, the quality of teachers in Al-Qur’an Kindergarten of An-Nadwah will increase.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of work motivation and loyalty behavior on the performance of state civil servants in the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province. The sampling technique used the saturated sampling technique with a total sample of 43 employees. Data analysis in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results showed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on the Performance of State Civil Servant Employees in the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province. Loyalty behavior had a positive and significant impact on the Performance of State Civil Servant Employees in the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study focused on optimizing the quality of Santri graduates at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Data collection methods involve interviews, observation, and document study, with the main data sources from Santri, asatidz, foster carers, and the Head of the Division. Tarbiyah Wa Ta'lim. Secondary data was obtained from Islamic boarding school documents, including student development. The research uses interview and observation techniques as systematic methods to obtain verbal information and observe the learning process. Data analysis follows the Milles & Huberman concept, with stages of data presentation, data reduction, and data sorting and selection according to the research theme. A qualitative case study method with a multi-site design was used in this research. Data collection was carried out circularly with three approaches: 1) participant observation; 2) in-depth interviews with 4 people (Santri, Asatidz, Foster Guardian, Head of Tarbiyah Wa Ta'lim); and 3) documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. This research describes the implementation of problem-solving procedures, with a focus on the FMEA measurement process(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). The four main components in the management process of educational institutions, namely human resources, learning environment, facilities, curriculum development, and parental support for Islamic boarding school education, are the main focus in optimizing Islamic boarding school graduates.

Abstract

Humans consist of physical and psychological structures that have a variety of effective functions in behavior. Motivation is an important thing for moving the human body's organs in the activity. Human activity generally can be driven by everything in him selfs so that it’s can make the personality of human behavior as well as external influences from the environment, whether in positive or negative behavior. In this discussion, the motivation for making behavior in the realm of psychology and Islamic education is creating the formation of good human character (akhlak al-karimah) on religious and social aspects. Humans can be said to have good behavior if the motivation they generate is also good and otherwise. So, one important thing in the formation of behavior is continuously motivation within humans, so that they become perfect humans in the future and get a position as respectable humans while aplicating the main of human responsibilities.
