Abstract

Solid Dwipantara is a micro, small, and medium enterprise engaged in the custom furniture business located in the Denpasar area. In terms of marketing, the partner has not yet optimally utilized digital technology and still relies on repeat orders, or in other words, orders that come mostly from customers who have used the partner's services before and also from direct recommendations from customers to potential new customers. For furniture design, the partner still uses manual methods by drawing designs on paper for the size and model of furniture desired by customers. This greatly affects the accuracy of the size and model after production because there may be differences between the final product and the initial design desired by the customer, so sometimes the finished product has to be redone. The partner also lacks understanding in utilizing digital technology to find and obtain the latest custom furniture models and designs that keep up with the times. The partner needs a digital marketing medium and assistance in utilizing digital technology to support the product design process

Abstract

Compliance with local tax and retribution payments plays a crucial role in increasing Regional Own-Source Revenue (PAD). However, low fiscal literacy and limited effectiveness of existing socialization programs remain major obstacles to achieving optimal revenue targets. This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and capacity of officers at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Southeast Sulawesi Province in implementing more effective, persuasive, and adaptive socialization strategies. The methods used include direct observation, interviews, document analysis, material presentation, and interactive discussions. The results indicate that the socialization activities improved officers' understanding of tax literacy concepts, fiscal communication, and technology-based educational strategies. Additionally, the findings reveal that low public literacy, limited use of digital media, and varying public perceptions of fiscal transparency significantly influence taxpayer compliance. This program produced practical educational materials and strategic recommendations that can be sustainably implemented by Bapenda. Overall, the activity contributes positively to strengthening the agency’s internal capacity and refining socialization strategies to enhance taxpayer compliance and support optimal local revenue collection.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the regional economy, including in Tatanga District and Nunu Village, Palu City. However, many MSME actors in these areas still face fundamental challenges such as low financial literacy, limited access to capital, and insufficient use of digital technology in business management. These limitations lead to weak financial record-keeping, poor cash flow management, and inadequate readiness to meet bankability requirements when applying for financing from formal financial institutions. This community service program was designed to improve the understanding and practical skills of MSME actors through financial literacy socialization, financial inclusion education, capital training in collaboration with financial institutions, and training in simple financial record preparation. The program was implemented using needs assessments through observation, structured material delivery, interactive discussions, hands-on transaction recording practice, and learning evaluations through pretests and posttests. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ competencies. Average scores for financial literacy and inclusion increased from 48% to 89%, indicating better understanding of cash flow management, transaction recording, and the use of digital financial services such as QRIS and mobile banking. Furthermore, participants’ understanding of capital access improved from 51% to 92%, particularly regarding financing procedures, business eligibility requirements, and the importance of financial statements in loan applications. Overall, the program effectively strengthened MSME capacity to manage businesses in a more structured, adaptive, and professional manner, supporting MSME independence and long-term business sustainability in Tatanga District and Nunu Village.

Erpat Leather is a manufacturer of leather bags, pouches, wallets, and belts, located in Tirto RT 05, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Some production materials are not arranged neatly, which can disrupt the smoothness of the production process. The business needs to improve the efficiency and smoothness of the production process. Then, community service activities were carried out by lecturers, educational staff, and students of the Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Study Programs of the University of AKPRIND Indonesia to increase the knowledge of Erpat Leather owners and workers about 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). Erpat Leather needed training to improve the smoothness of the production process, work efficiency, and work safety. Abstract

Menstrual stress is a common reproductive health problem among adolescent girls, which can interfere with learning activities, concentration, and overall quality of life. This community service activity aimed to improve the ability of female students to manage menstrual stress through education and practice of deep breathing techniques at SMPN 2 Rambutan, Banyuasin Regency. The activity used a one-group pretest–posttest pre-experimental design involving 30 female students who had experienced menstruation. Health education was delivered through interactive lectures, discussions, and practical demonstrations of deep breathing techniques, while evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires on menstrual stress levels. The results showed a reduction in menstrual stress, with most participants shifting from moderate stress before education to mild stress after the intervention. These findings indicate that deep breathing techniques are effective in helping students independently manage menstrual stress. Therefore, health education combined with practical deep breathing exercises is recommended to be implemented continuously in schools as a promotive and preventive strategy for adolescent reproductive health.

Abstract

Skin aging is a natural process that cannot be avoided, but it can be slowed down through proper skin care. The use of natural face masks is one of the safe, affordable, and relatively non-invasive treatment alternatives without long-term side effects. The bandotan plant (Ageratum conyzoides L.) is a weed that grows wild in the Cemani Village area, Sukoharjo Regency. Although often considered worthless, this plant actually contains active compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins that have the potential to be antioxidants. Therefore, this service activity aims to provide counseling and training to the people of Cemani Village regarding the manufacture of face masks made from bandotan plants. This program is carried out with several procedural stages, starting from the interpretation of problems on the land, followed by the preparation of the timeline for the implementation of activities, then counseling and ending with a workshop session on the procedure for making antiaging masks for bandotan herbs. The program ended with an assessment of the evaluation of the activities. This activity was attended by 20 participants of the Cemani village PKK mobilization team. Based on the pretest and posttest scores, there was an increase in public knowledge about the program carried out with an average of 80 pretests and an increase in the average percentage of posttest scores up to 95.83. In the assessment of the questionnaire, public satisfaction with the implementation of the activity was classified as very satisfied with a score of 92.67.
