Abstract

Meeting client demand is the primary goal of any company, one of which is through timely service. PT Intan Prima Kalorindo, a company worked in the production of heat exchangers, often fails to meet product delivery targets due to wasteful activities during the assembly of the E-201-22AB tube bundle heat exchanger. This study aims to identify types of waste occurring in the assembly process of the E-201-22AB tube bundle heat exchanger using the Process Activity Mapping (PAM) approach. The data collection techniques used were direct observation and interviews with operators and supervisors. The data were then classified using the PAM method. Based on PAM, 32 activities were identified, with the majority of operations at the workstations being value-added (VA) activities, totaling 2,647 minutes (66.3%), while non-value-added (NVA) activities totaled 1,040 minutes (26%) and necessary but non-value-added (NNVA) activities totaled 307 minutes (7.7%). The study results revealed two types of waste identified in the assembly process: defective products due to leaks during hydrostatic testing and waiting for materials. Further analysis using a fishbone diagram showed various causes of these wasteful activities, including human, machine, method, and environmental factors. Based on the identified root causes, various improvement recommendations were proposed to eliminate waste in the assembly process of the E-201-22AB tube bundle heat exchanger.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of four non-communicable diseases which is a priority for follow-up. One of the complications of Diabetes is the signs and symptoms of problematic peripheral blood vessels so appropriate management is needed to reduce complications. Therefore, Buerger The Allen Exercise is a varied movement exercise for the lower extremities that uses gravitational force which is done slowly and consistently and can increase the Ankle Bracial Index (ABI) score and can influence the ABI score to be better than before. Objective: to analyze the effect of the Buerger Allen Exercise on the Ankle Brachial Index value in Diabetes Mellitus patients in the Bandar Khalipah Health Center working area, Medan. Method: this type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design with a two group pre test-post test design, sample collection technique using purposive sampling technique with a total of 24 respondents. Analysis of research data used the Wilxocon sign rank test. Result: The results of this study show that there is an influence of Buerger Allen Exercise on the Ankle Brachial Index value in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients in the working area of the Bandar Khalipah Community Health Center with a p-value of 0.009 <0.05. Conclusion: there is a significant effect of Buerger Allen Exercise on the Ankle Brachial Index value in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients in the working area of the Bandar Khalipah Community Health Center. Suggestion: It is hoped that future researchers will modify the method and have a larger sample size as well as a longer intervention to obtain more accurate results so that they can add broader insight into independent nursing interventions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of service quality and store atmosphere on customers' repurchase intention at OB.Second thrift store in Cirebon. In the rapidly growing digital era, where fashion trends change quickly, aesthetic aspects and shopping experience are key factors in the decision to repurchase. This study examines the effects of service quality and store atmosphere on repurchase intention using the Theory of Planned Behavior, Expectation Confirmation Theory, and Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) Model. Direct observation and a quantitative approach using questionnaires are the research methods used. The results show that repurchase intention is positively and significantly impacted by both store atmosphere and service quality. Improving customer satisfaction and creating a cozier retail environment can boost repeat business and future sales.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-family conflict on withdrawal behavior with work stress as a mediating variable among married female employees at CV. Modena Rattan Cirebon. The study reveals that the imbalance between work and family roles increases work stress, which in turn contributes to withdrawal behavior. Regression analysis results show that work-family conflict significantly influences withdrawal behavior, and work stress plays a significant mediating role in this relationship. These findings highlight the importance of stress management and policies that support work-life balance to reduce withdrawal behavior symptoms among female employees. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to work-family balance aspects to improve employee performance and well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of job insecurity on turnover intention with work engagement as a mediating variable among employees of PT Adient Automotive Indonesia. The study identifies the direct relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention, as well as the impact of job insecurity on work engagement. The results indicate that job insecurity has a positive and significant impact on turnover intention and a negative and significant impact on work engagement. Moreover, work engagement acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the effect of job insecurity on turnover intention. Using a quantitative approach and multiple regression analysis, this study provides empirical evidence that high job insecurity can increase the intention to leave the company, especially among employees with low levels of work engagement. Therefore, companies need to focus on efforts to enhance work engagement in order to mitigate the negative impact of job insecurity and prevent high turnover.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competence on withdrawal behavior among employees at KSPPS Perambabulan Makmur Abadi, with work engagement as a mediating variable. High competence is expected to reduce withdrawal behavior by enhancing employee work engagement. The study used a quantitative method with linear regression analysis and Sobel test to test the hypotheses. The results show that competence has a significant positive effect on work engagement, and work engagement has a significant negative effect on withdrawal behavior. Additionally, work engagement mediates the relationship between competence and withdrawal behavior. Therefore, increasing employee competence followed by enhanced work engagement can reduce withdrawal behavior, which could negatively affect organizational productivity. These findings provide important recommendations for organizations to develop employee competence through relevant training and create a work environment that fosters their engagement in tasks.

Abstract

The use of information technology in the field of Streaming Media has developed rapidly, allowing users to access various shows via mobile applications and web browsers. This service gives you the freedom to watch movies, television series and other video content anytime and anywhere. One of the popular applications in this field is WeTV. WeTV offers a variety of content, including dramas, films and variety shows from various countries, both local and international, so users can enjoy shows from all over the world. In the 13 years since the WeTV application service has been running, there are still users who complain about using WeTV, one of which is that there are too many advertisements that appear when watching films. So it is necessary to carry out user-based evaluation. The User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) covers six aspects with 26 statement items. UEQ data analysis was carried out using the UEQ Data Analysis Tool by comparing the value of each aspect with the available product data set. In UEQ, 5 respondents will be involved to get user satisfaction scores. Think Aloud evaluation involved 5 respondents based on UEQ results. In this study, 5 task scenarios were used which were adapted to the existing functionality. The results of the analysis show that the aspects of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation are in the poor category and novelty is in the below average category. The results of the analysis show that priority improvements can be focused on all aspects. The average value for each aspect is as follows: attractiveness aspect is 0.27; clarity aspect of 0.55; efficiency aspect of 0.30; accuracy aspect of 0.75; the stimulation aspect is 0.45 and the novelty aspect is 0.70. The Think Aloud evaluation results succeeded in obtaining 4 problems raised by respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Current Ratio, Earnings Per Share, and Debt to Equity Ratio influence Stock Prices at PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk for the 2014-2023 period. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with hypothesis testingThe t-test results show that partially, the Current Ratio does not influence Stock Prices (t-value: -1.240 < 2.447, significance: 0.261 > 0.05), Earnings Per Share has a positive effect on Stock Prices (t-value: 2.606 > 2.447, significance: 0.040 < 0.05), and the Debt to Equity Ratio does not influence Stock Prices (t-value: -2.280 < 2.447, significance: 0.063 > 0.05). Simultaneously, the Current Ratio, Earnings Per Share, and Debt to Equity Ratio significantly influence Stock Prices at PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk, as indicated by an R-square value of 0.699, an F-value of 6.049 > 4.76, and a significance level of 0.030 < 0.05. These findings reveal that the Current Ratio, Earnings Per Share, and Debt to Equity Ratio collectively explain 75.2% of the variance in Stock Prices, with the remaining 24.8% influenced by variables outside this study.

Abstract

Phytochemical screening is a crucial preliminary step in identifying secondary metabolites from medicinal plants that serve as potential bioactive compounds for the development of traditional and modern medicines. This review summarizes findings from 25 national and international journals that investigated various plant sources, including leaves, flowers, seeds, fruits, stems, and even microalgae. The most commonly analyzed compounds include flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, steroids, triterpenoids, polyphenols, glycosides, and anthraquinones. The results indicate that flavonoids and tannins are the most frequently detected metabolites, both of which are known for their antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Variations in metabolite content among plants are influenced by species, plant parts used, extraction methods, and the choice of solvents, with ethanol being the predominant solvent. Several studies also complemented the screening with biological activity assays, such as DPPH antioxidant testing, antibacterial assays, and wound-healing studies, further supporting the therapeutic potential of these compounds. This review highlights the importance of phytochemical screening as a scientific foundation for the development of phytopharmaceuticals and the utilization of Indonesia’s rich biodiversity.

Abstract

In modern ages like now, personal branding has a very important role in facilitating an individual in making relationships in the world of work. Ibnu Wardani uses Tiktok social media as a forum for forming personal branding as an influencer and content flexing. The purpose of this research is to anlyze establishment of personal branding of Ibnu Wardani as a content flexing influencer on Tiktok social media accounts. The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach by conducting a descriptive study by collecting data through a literature study. The author uses eight laws of personal branding. Based on the results discussed regarding the eight laws of personal branding according to Peter Montoya, Ibnu Wardani through his personal Tiktok social media has not fulfilled these eight concepts. Of the eight personal branding concepts of Peter Montoya, Ibnu Wardani has not complete one of the elements, namely Leadership (The Law of Leadership) because Ibnu Wardani has not highlighted his excellence, does not have a great influence on society, and/or recognition as a leader in the society.
