Abstract

Dalam era digital, sistem absensi perkuliahan berbasis online menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan algoritma Haversine dalam sistem absensi perkuliahan online guna menentukan lokasi pengguna secara akurat berdasarkan koordinat geografis. Dengan menggunakan Flutter sebagai framework untuk pengembangan aplikasi mobile dan Laravel sebagai pengembangan berbasis website, sistem ini memungkinkan verifikasi kehadiran mahasiswa berdasarkan jarak mereka dari lokasi kampus yang telah ditentukan. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasis mobile dengan integrasi API geolokasi. Algoritma Haversine digunakan untuk menghitung jarak antara lokasi mahasiswa dan titik koordinat yang telah ditetapkan sebagai lokasi batas presensi. Jika mahasiswa berada dalam radius yang ditentukan, maka proses presensi dapat dilakukan pada aplikasi. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan keakuratan absensi serta mengurangi potensi kecurangan dalam pelaporan kehadiran mahasiswa. Implementasi teknologi ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi inovatif bagi institusi pendidikan dalam manajemen absensi perkuliahan berbasis lokasi.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth how financial transparency, the application of managerial ethics, and the accuracy of production cost calculations influence business practices among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through open-ended interviews, direct field observations, and analysis of relevant documents. The findings indicate that a lack of financial transparency hinders effective decision-making. On the other hand, the consistent application of ethical managerial principles significantly contributes to fostering harmonious relationships with stakeholders. Inaccurate cost calculations also lead to improper pricing strategies and decreased operational efficiency. These three elements are interrelated and collectively contribute to building a professional and sustainable business management system. The study highlights the importance of strengthening MSME managerial capacity through collaboration among government institutions, business actors, and support organizations, particularly in the areas of financial literacy, ethical business conduct, and cost efficiency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media video YouTube terhadap hasil belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas III SD. Studi tersebut dilatarbelakangi hasil belajar IPAS yang rendah pada peserta didik kelas III di SDN Ciluncat 01 Kabupaten Bandung, tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PjBL berbantuan media video YouTube terbukti jauh lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan antusiasme dan hasil belajar IPAS dibandingkan model direct instruction. Kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam partisipasi, kecepatan penyelesaian tugas, dan hasil belajar, didukung oleh pengalaman belajar baru dari video YouTube. Sebaliknya, kelas kontrol kurang termotivasi dan pasif. Peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS kelas eksperimen cenderung tinggi (N-Gain 0,8091, kategori tinggi) dibanding kelas kontrol (N-Gain 0,6607, kategori sedang). Uji effect size sebesar 1,747 mengindikasikan pengaruh besar PjBL berbantuan video YouTube terhadap hasil belajar IPAS. Temuan ini diperkuat penelitian sebelumnya mengenai efektivitas YouTube dan PjBL dalam meningkatkan partisipasi, antusiasme, dan keterampilan esensial melalui proyek nyata. Disimpulkan bahwa model PjBL yang didukung media video YouTube secara signifikan membuat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Inovasi pendekatan dan media pembelajaran ini penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan mendorong prestasi. Disarankan peserta didik proaktif memanfaatkan media digital, guru terus mengintegrasikan PjBL dengan media digital, dan peneliti selanjutnya mengkaji dampak jangka panjang model ini serta faktor-faktor keberhasilannya.

Abstract

This empirical study examines the impact of individual competence and work environment on employee performance evaluation within a local government agency in Indonesia. Individual competence encompasses knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes, serving as foundational capital in bureaucratic task completion. The work environment includes physical aspects (facilities, ergonomics, and workplace climate) and psychosocial dimensions (interpersonal relationships, leadership style, and organizational culture) that influence employee motivation and productivity. Data were collected via a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire from 100 purposively sampled civil servants, then analyzed using multiple linear regression following validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Findings reveal that individual competence (β = 0.45, p < 0.001) and work environment (β = 0.38, p < 0.001) significantly positively affect employee performance evaluation, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.62. These results suggest that enhancing training programs to strengthen employee competence and improving facilities and workplace climate are priority strategies for boosting bureaucratic performance.

Abstract

Employee retention is a major challenge in retail businesses like cosmetic stores facing intense competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of implementing Talent Management strategies on employee retention at Toko Kosmetik Jun in Solok City. Using a quantitative approach and survey method involving store employees, the research examines the dimensions of succession planning, career development, and performance management in relation to employee retention intentions. The findings indicate that Talent Management strategies significantly contribute to improving employee retention rates, particularly through competency development and clear career pathways. This study offers strategic implications for HR practices in retail management to design sustainable talent policies.

Abstract

The hedonistic lifestyle, which emphasizes the pursuit of pleasure and excessive consumption, has become an increasingly prominent phenomenon in the daily lives of university students. This lifestyle is suspected to influence their ability to manage personal finances wisely. This study aims to examine the effect of a hedonistic lifestyle on students' financial management capabilities and to identify differences in financial management between students with high and low levels of hedonism. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 360 respondents from three universities in Cikarang selected proportionally through Slovin’s sampling technique. The research instrument is a Likert-scale questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and independent sample t-tests. Preliminary results indicate a significant influence of a hedonistic lifestyle on financial management, as well as differences based on gender. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of hedonistic lifestyle and financial literacy into a single analytical model that aligns with the behavioral context of today’s students. The implications of these findings are expected to contribute to the development of behavior-based financial literacy programs that foster more adaptive and sustainable financial management strategies among university students.

Abstract

The impact of Holding and Subholding Implementation is expected to provide significant improvement in employee performance as well as optimization of profits and operations as well as cost efficiency for PT KPI. The company's performance becomes faster, more agile, and concise in the decision-making process. This study uses a quantitative research method with primary data sources through a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. The respondents in this study were 84 employees at PT KPI in all KPI offices and Refinery Units (RU) of PT KPI, with a sampling technique of simple random sampling (SRS). The data analysis technique uses Spearman correlation analysis to test the strength of the relationship between two variables. The relationship between the Holding and Subholding Implementation variables with employee performance has a correlation of 0.704 and the relationship between the Holding and Subholding Implementation variables with employee performance achievement is 0.798. These figures indicate that the Holding and Subholding Implementation variables have a strong influence on employee performance variables and their performance achievements. In the non-parametric analysis of the Kruskal-Wallis test, the results showed that there were significant differences between groups of variables in the holding and subholding implementation at PT KPI on employee performance and its achievements. This is indicated by the p-value in the Kruskal Wallis test of 0.00, which indicates a significant influence on the implementation of holding and subholding at PT KPI on employee performance and achievements. The results of a simple linear test show that every increase in one unit of value for the Implementation of the structure (holding and subholding) will increase 0.767 units of the value of employee performance achievement at PT.KPI employees with free implementation of the structure has a contribution effect of 67.3% on the employee performance achievement variable.

Abstract

Ekonomi syariah, dengan prinsip-prinsip dasarnya yang menekankan keadilan, keberlanjutan, dan etika bisnis, memiliki potensi besar dalam mendorong inovasi di sektor Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Pendekatan syariah yang melarang riba, spekulasi (gharar), dan kegiatan haram, serta mendorong transparansi dan berbagi risiko, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi pengembangan produk dan layanan inovatif. Mekanisme pembiayaan syariah seperti mudharabah (bagi hasil), musyarakah (bagi untung dan rugi), dan ijarah (sewa) memberikan alternatif pendanaan yang lebih fleksibel dan berorientasi pada kemitraan, memungkinkan UMKM untuk berinvestasi dalam penelitian dan pengembangan tanpa beban bunga tetap yang memberatkan. Selain itu, ekosistem ekonomi syariah yang mencakup lembaga keuangan syariah, lembaga zakat dan wakaf, serta pusat inkubasi syariah, dapat menyediakan dukungan holistik mulai dari pendanaan, pendampingan, hingga akses pasar bagi UMKM inovatif. Dorongan untuk memproduksi barang dan jasa yang halal dan thayyib (baik dan bermanfaat) juga secara inheren mendorong UMKM untuk berinovasi dalam proses produksi, manajemen rantai pasok, dan pemasaran guna memenuhi standar etika dan kualitas yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, penerapan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah tidak hanya meningkatkan keberlanjutan finansial UMKM, tetapi juga menumbuhkan budaya inovasi yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai moral dan sosial.

Abstract

Marriage is a crucial stage in one's life, described as a dream for many to achieve happiness, offering various benefits such as faith, offspring, social support, as well as peace and well-being. This study aims to understand the complexity of marriage decision-making among millennials from the perspective of Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Theory. The underlying is that marriage decisions are influenced by the interaction of various environmental systems. The research subjects were six millennial individuals (three married couples) aged 28-43 years, residing in Bali. The methodology employed was qualitative with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews and thematic data analysis. The results indicate that millennial marriage decisions are influenced by five ecological systems: microsystem (immediate family, peers), mesosystem (inter-family interactions), exosystem (work environment, economy), macrosystem (cultural values, religion, social expectations), and chronosystem (changes over time). Emotional and financial support, family harmonization, economic conditions, cultural norms, and individual readiness over time are key influencing factors.

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) strategies and practices have changed due to digital transformation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of digitalization on various aspects of HRM, such as training, recruitment, performance evaluation, and employee development strategies. This research, which conducted a systematic literature review of various nationally indexed journal articles, found that the incorporation of technologies such as AI, ERP and e-HRM systems increases efficiency and flexibility in human resource management. However, these changes also present important challenges, such as limitations in digital competencies, organizational resistance and the need for digital leadership. To address these issues, a reskilling approach based on digital fluency, innovative culture enhancement and legal support (e-HRM) is required.  This review is expected to help organizations understand the concepts needed to create HRM strategies that are in line with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0.
