Abstract

PT. Jati Luhur Agung is a company engaged in the wood industry, focusing on the wood flooring and wood component business. In the manufacturing industry, raw materials play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of production. The company has been facing an overstock problem in raw materials because purchases are made solely based on estimation or forecasting, resulting in higher costs.The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal raw material order quantity to avoid overstocking and to minimize total costs. This research compares the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and the Just In Time (JIT) method to identify which is more optimal and cost-efficient.The findings of this study indicate that the EOQ method is more effective compared to JIT. By applying EOQ, the optimal economic order quantity is 124 m³, with an ordering frequency of twice per year. The total inventory cost under EOQ is IDR 54.259/418, whereas the company’s previous policy incurred a cost of IDR 268.274.868 (TIC) between the company’s policy and EOQ amounts to IDR 214.015.450, leading to substantial cost savings.In conclusion, the EOQ method has proven to effectively prevent excessive raw material inventory by enabling optimal ordering and achieving significant cost reductions.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Culinary tourism is one of the economic bases of the Bone Bolango Regency community which is starting to become the foundation for economic improvement, so that it can compete with other regions in Gorontalo Province. The purpose of this research is to find out 1) How is the managerial ability of culinary tourism-based MSME players in Bonelango Regency, 2) How is the income of culinary tourism-based MSME players in Bone Bolango Regency, 3) How does managerial ability affect the income of MSME players. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with simple linear regression analysis which is used to see if there is a relationship between the managerial skills of culinary tourism MSME players and income. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between the managerial skills of culinary tourism MSME players in Bone Bolango Regency and income. This means that culinary tourism MSMEs in Bone Bolango Regency are classified as good and have a positive effect on income. The better the managerial skills of business actors, the more stable and increased income is obtained.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia is currently experiencing rapid growth, with an increasing number of coffee shops and cafés, each with its own unique style. Seeing the public’s enthusiasm for the culture of hanging out and drinking coffee, Kedai Kopi Biasa (Kobi) x Classic Milk continues to develop in order to stay relevant to society. Kobi serves a variety of menus in a simple setting and plans to establish a quick-service coffee shop, recognizing that coffee has become a favorite beverage for accompanying daily activities. To ensure that the brand’s message reaches its audience, interaction between the brand and the public is essential. However, Kobi has not yet been able to fully communicate this. The current graphic elements consist only of a basic logo. Therefore, a redesign of the visual identity is needed to better attract the right target audience. One strategy is to utilize the food truck—already planned by the owner for sales—as both a selling platform and a promotional medium. To determine what type of visuals appeal to the audience, both qualitative and quantitative research methods were used. These methods aim to gather insights into the target audience and other fundamental information. Based on interview results, the owner hopes the brand’s identity and visual concept can be effectively conveyed. Therefore, the logo, visual assets, tone and manner, and other design elements should be tailored to the target audience. Supporting media such as packaging design, the food truck, and merchandise will be used to introduce the brand to the public.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors causing low participation among members in the Karang Taruna organization in Cirebon Regency. Member participation in community-based organizations, particularly Karang Taruna, plays a crucial role in improving social welfare and empowering the youth. However, in recent years, there has been a significant decline in member participation in Karang Taruna Cirebon Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that low participation is caused by several factors, including low motivation, ineffective internal communication, lack of communicative leadership, lack of recognition for members' contributions, limited facilities and funds, and activities that are not relevant to the needs of the youth. Based on these findings, the study recommends that Karang Taruna management improve internal communication, involve members in decision-making, provide recognition, and develop activities that are more relevant to the needs of young people.

Abstract

Supplier assessment is an important aspect of the supply chain that directly impacts product quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. UKM Telur Asin Noerce is a processed poultry product that is in high demand in Indonesia, so the availability of duck eggs as raw materials must be guaranteed on an ongoing basis. In the case of UKM Telur Asin Noerce, the assessment of duck egg suppliers is a strategic factor because it directly affects the quality, quantity, and smoothness of production. The problem that arises is how to determine the most efficient supplier that meets the company's criteria. This study uses a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods. The results identified 8 main criteria and 27 sub-criteria. The DEA method was applied to measure the relative efficiency level of each supplier based on predetermined inputs and outputs. Data was obtained through interviews with the company and quantitative data collection from duck egg suppliers. The AHP analysis results showed that quality was the criterion with the highest weight, followed by supply continuity and timeliness. Furthermore, the results of processing with the DEA-CCR model showed that of the four suppliers analyzed, there were 4 efficient suppliers with an efficiency score of 1 (100%). Based on the results of the study, using the AHP method, the Customer Care criterion had the highest weight (0.244), indicating that responsive service was a high priority. Furthermore, using the DEA super efficiency method, the results show that of the four suppliers, Demak ranks first as the priority supplier. The combination of AHP and DEA has proven to be effective in providing objective and systematic recommendations in supplier selection. Thus, companies can make more accurate and data-driven decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of social media use on adolescents’ mental health. Along with the increasing popularity of social media, adolescents have become the most vulnerable group to its psychological effects. This research employed a quantitative approach through a survey of 300 adolescents aged 13–18 in Indonesia, who actively use platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. The results indicate that excessive use of social media is associated with increased symptoms of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Factors such as duration of use, negative interactions, and exposure to harmful content are identified as the main determinants of these negative effects. On the other hand, the study also found that healthy use of social media, such as communicating with friends or following educational content, can have positive effects on mental health. Therefore, time management and careful selection of accessible content on social media are key to minimizing negative impacts and optimizing its benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and service quality on patient satisfaction at RSUD dr. Mohamad Soewandhie Surabaya, with brand experience as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to patients who have interacted with the hospital’s digital platforms. The results show that digital marketing significantly influences brand experience and patient satisfaction, with a strong mediation effect through brand experience. On the other hand, service quality has no significant effect on these two variables. This study emphasizes that digital marketing, through a positive brand experience, is the primary factor in enhancing patient satisfaction, while traditional service quality loses its relevance in the context of healthcare digitalization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Green Accounting, Kinerja Lingkungan, Corporate Social Responsibility, serta Good Corporate Governance (Dewan Komisaris Independen dan Kepemilikan Institusional) terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (ROA) pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2020–2024. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya praktik keberlanjutan dan tata kelola perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja keuangan di tengah tuntutan regulasi dan tekanan stakeholder. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Sampel terdiri dari perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang memenuhi kriteria purposive sampling dalam periode pengamatan lima tahun. Pengujian dilakukan secara parsial (uji t) dan simultan (uji F) untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel dan secara bersamaan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, variabel Corporate Social Responsibility dan Kepemilikan Institusional yang berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Keuangan, sedangkan Green Accounting, Kinerja Lingkungan, dan Dewan Komisaris Independen tidak berpengaruh. Secara simultan, seluruh variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan. Variabel dominan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan adalah CSR. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa aktivitas sosial perusahaan menjadi faktor penting dalam mendorong kinerja keuangan, sedangkan aspek lingkungan dan tata kelola perlu lebih dioptimalkan agar dapat memberikan dampak finansial yang nyata.

Abstract

Di era persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif, strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan performa organisasi. Salah satu aspek penting dalam pengelolaan SDM adalah pelaksanaan rekrutmen dan pengembangan karir yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rekrutmen dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Artindo Pratama Sejahtera. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif statistik dengan pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 57 responden dari total populasi 190 karyawan, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS versi 27 dengan uji regresi linear berganda yang mencakup uji normalitas, uji t (parsial), uji f (simultan), dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, rekrutmen (X₁) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan nilai t hitung 4,034 > t tabel 2,004 dan kontribusi sebesar 23,7%. Pengembangan karir (X₂) juga berpengaruh signifikan dengan nilai t hitung 3,449 > t tabel 2,004 dan kontribusi sebesar 16,7%. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai F hitung 20,932 > F tabel 3,16 dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 42,9%. Artinya, rekrutmen dan pengembangan karir secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan sebesar 42,9%.

Abstract

The national sugar industry faces a significant challenge due to its heavy reliance on imports, making the continuity of sugarcane supply from farmers to sugar mills a critical factor. This study aims to analyze the effect of sugarcane purchase price, service quality, and corporate reputation on farmers’ decisions to sell sugarcane to PT. Sinergi Gula Nusantara (PG Ngadiredjo), Kediri Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, involving 33 farmers as respondents, and the data were analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that the purchase price of sugarcane has a significant but negative effect on selling decisions, whereas service quality and corporate reputation exert a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect selling decisions, contributing 42.3%, while the remaining variance is explained by other factors beyond this study. These results highlight that farmer loyalty is not solely driven by price, but also by transparency in services and the company’s image. The implications of this research provide strategic recommendations for PG Ngadiredjo to review its pricing policies, improve service quality, and strengthen its reputation to sustain long-term partnerships with farmers.
