Abstract

Yasinan dan tahlilan merupakan tradisi keagamaan yang telah bertahan dari waktu ke waktu dan tetap mempertahankan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Tradisi ini umumnya dikenal sebagai ritual spiritual yang dimaksudkan untuk memanjatkan doa bagi orang yang telah meninggal dunia. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini ialah memberikan pendampingan dalam kegiatan tradisi yasinan dan tahlilan di musholla Miftahul Ulum Perumahan Grand Sangatta Kutai Timur sebagai upaya dalam membentuk sikap berbakti kepada orang tua. Participatory Action Research digunakan dalam metode pengabdian ini dengan mengoptimalkan warga setempat sebagai subjek dan sumber informasi selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung. Hasil dari pengabdian yang telah dilakukan antara lain bahwa tradisi yasinan dan tahlilan diartikan sebagai salah satu wujud dari norma sosial dan adat istiadat dengan tetap berpegang teguh pada ajaran agama Islam. Tata cara dalam yasinan dan tahlilan diawali dengan memanjatkan doa untuk orang yang meninggal, diikuti dengan pembacaan Surat al-Fatihah kemudian dilanjutkan dengan membaca Surat Yasin, dzikir tahlil dan ditutup dengan do’a. Melalui tradisi yasinan dan tahlilan, anak-anak diajarkan untuk menghormati dan mendoakan orang tua yang telah meninggal. Hal ini merupakan bentuk penghormatan dan kepedulian terhadap orang tua serta menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab pada anak-anak untuk selalu berbuat baik dan mendoakan orang tua.

Abstract

Mendongeng merupakan tradisi masyarakat yang sudah ada sejak berabad-abad lalu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahwa mendongeng berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan minat baca anak usia sekolah dasar. Pendekatan kegiatan menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan atau action reseach dengan setting sosial. Penggunaan action reseach dalam kegiatan menghasilkan produk berupa masukan perbaikan yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan ouput kegiatan. Hasil action reseach menyatakan bahwa materi dongeng jenis fabel cocok disampaikan pada anak yang masih dalam fase kognitif tingkat pre-konvensional. Penokohan binatang dalam dongeng yang diasumsikan dapat berbicara dan berperilaku seperti manusia memudahkan hubungan antara logika dan realita. Perlakuan permainan tradisional dalam mendonngeng mengantarkan suasana semakin menarik dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum management in creating Pancasila Student profiles, identify obstacles in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum management, and explore the efforts made to overcome challenges in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum management at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research, which was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau. The research informants consisted of the school principal, deputy principal for curriculum, and driving teachers. The data collection techniques used included observation, interviews and documentation, which were analyzed descriptively qualitatively based on the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum management at SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau has gone well, referring to the management function POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling), although there are obstacles related to understanding the concepts and objectives of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum which are still limited in among teachers, students and parents. Another obstacle is related to teachers' difficulties in determining appropriate learning methods. The proposed solution to overcome these obstacles is to involve all stakeholders in offline and online training, which aims to increase teachers' understanding of the core Merdeka Belajar curriculum and improve teachers' abilities in implementing innovative teaching methods. Apart from that, outreach to students' parents was also carried out to introduce the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in more depth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the irrigators of ethno-religious based jigsaw models to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning Islamic religious education in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. This study analyzed 27 effect sizes obtained from Google scholars, ERIC, Wiley, and Taylor of Francis from the 2021-2024 issue with 1034 students. The JASP application assists the data analysis in this study.  Effect size analysis is calculated with a 95% confidence level. The study results concluded that the effect size value obtained through the random effect model was 1,952 (high effect size category). These findings explain that, on average, students who apply the ethno-religious-based jigsaw model are effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in learning Islam. This study provides important information on using the jigsaw model in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Kinerja guru merupakan faktor penting dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, memberikan motivasi, serta mengarahkan guru menuju pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Studi ini menelaah berbagai sumber pustaka, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu, guna mengidentifikasi gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif serta strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah dalam mendukung pengembangan profesional guru. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan demokratis berperan besar dalam meningkatkan semangat kerja, tanggung jawab, serta kompetensi guru. Dengan demikian, kepala sekolah yang mampu menjalankan fungsi kepemimpinannya secara efektif dapat mendorong peningkatan kinerja guru secara berkelanjutan. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi praktisi pendidikan dan peneliti dalam memahami pentingnya kepemimpinan dalam konteks peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Effective financial management is vital for private universities in ensuring operational sustainability and improving the quality of education. However, many private universities, especially those located in areas far from large cities, face major challenges in managing their sources of income. Based on previous research, there is still a gap in understanding in depth how to calculate and manage sources of income in private universities, especially in the local context. This study aims to identify and analyse sources of income, mechanisms for managing and calculating income, and challenges faced by STAI Sangatta East Kutai in optimising income. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, through interviews and document analysis. The main findings of this study indicate that financial management at STAI Sangatta East Kutai shows significant challenges, especially related to sudden needs that are not planned in the Budget and Cost Plan and initial budget limitations. To overcome these obstacles, STAIS has implemented various innovative solutions, such as optimising temporary funds, returning the budget after the next disbursement, and prioritising programs with spending efficiency. In addition, strategic steps such as strengthening relations with local governments, increasing the efficiency of fund management, and developing independent income strategies through flagship programs have contributed to the sustainability of the institution's operations. This adaptive and strategic approach not only strengthens the financial stability of STAI Sangatta East Kutai but also becomes a relevant management model for similar institutions facing higher education financing dynamics.

Abstract

Reducing stunting and sanitation have become important goals in national sustainable development. Nutrition and sanitation education are very important to prevent stunting because children's growth and development require optimal nutrition and a healthy environment. This research is a community service activity formulated in the form of socialization of stunting prevention and reduction in East Kutai Regency. This activity aims to provide students with an understanding of the need for early stunting prevention and can play a role in improving adolescent nutrition, especially iron in adolescents as preparation for becoming prospective mothers to prevent anemia. Furthermore, it can be concluded that Stunting is a world problem because its implications determine the future of the nation. Indonesia as a developing country has a high prevalence of stunting, so various prevention efforts are needed, including through socialization as carried out at the Sangatta Kutai Timur Islamic College

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer decisions in investing in mudharabah products at Bank Muamalat Kutai Timur. The background of this study is the importance of the role of service quality in influencing customer interests and decisions, especially in sharia-based investment products such as mudharabah, which prioritize the principles of trust, transparency, and fair cooperation. In the sharia financial system, service quality is one of the key aspects that can determine the loyalty and sustainability of the relationship between the bank and its customers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are customers of Bank Muamalat Kutai Timur. Data analysis techniques used include validity, reliability, normality tests, simple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient (R²) tests, and F significance tests. The results of the validity test show that all question items in the questionnaire are declared valid, with a correlation value of > 0.3 and significance < 0.05. The reliability test shows a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.766 which indicates that this research instrument has good reliability. The results of the regression analysis show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer investment decisions. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.743 and the determination coefficient (R²) of 0.552, which means that 55.2% of customer decision variables can be explained by service quality, while the other 44.8% are influenced by other factors outside this study. The normality test shows that the data is normally distributed, so the basic assumptions of the regression analysis have been met.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the principles of language politeness in Islam. This research uses literature study (library research), to obtain theoretical data regarding language politeness in Islam. The data sources used in this research are secondary, mostly using books and reputable scientific journals. The results of this research show that, in the Qur'an, the command to maintain language is symbolized by the words qaulan (spoken or spoken). Maintaining oral or spoken language is generally seen as the basis for politeness in language because the tongue is the main tool for interacting between fellow humans in various interests and situations. Guarding your tongue is the main basis for polite communication. Every human being has the responsibility to guard his tongue by speaking good words and for good purposes, the principle of politeness in Islam is shown by several terms in the Koran such as Qaulan sadidȃ: 'Qaulan Layyina, Qaulan ma'rufa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to use methods to increase students' understanding in Islamic Religious Education learning regarding procedures for caring for corpses at State High School 1 North Sangatta. The type of research used is descriptive research. The approach in this research is a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research is the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/data verification. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the use of efficiency methods in material on procedures for caring for corpses at State High School 1 North Sangatta is very effective because students can understand and put into practice what has been conveyed directly by the teacher and the use of efficiency methods makes learning more active. The inhibiting factor that influences the use of the roasting method is that the time specified is not enough to demonstrate the procedures for caring for the corpse as a whole. The solution given is that the teacher can summarize several procedures for caring for corpses.
