Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan memberikan interpretasi mengenai integrasi manajemen strategis dan kebijakan penyelenggaraan sekolah inklusi, strategi mengatasi burnout guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka, dan dampak dari kebijakan dan manajemen strategis terhadap kesejahteraan guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang responsif, termasuk bagi siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Kebijakan inklusi meliputi penerapan kurikulum fleksibel, metode pengajaran bervariasi, dan penyediaan sumber daya memadai. Hal tersebut mendorong kolaborasi pemangku kepentingan dan pelatihan profesional bagi guru. Sementara burnout guru disebabkan oleh beban kerja tinggi, tekanan memenuhi standar akademik, dan kurangnya dukungan manajerial. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi burnout termasuk pengembangan dukungan sosial, pelatihan profesional berkelanjutan, fleksibilitas waktu, serta evaluasi berkala. Strategi tersebut dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung guru, meningkatkan kesejahteraan, dan kualitas pendidikan. Kebijakan dan manajemen strategis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan guru, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Kebijakan yang mendukung kesejahteraan, seperti jam kerja wajar dan pengembangan karir, terbukti meningkatkan motivasi dan kepuasan kerja. Hubungan sosial yang baik antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua juga berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan guru.

Abstract

Pentingnya kebijakan pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkeadilan dan efektif semakin meningkat dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi, terutama untuk mendukung kompetensi bahasa Inggris yang menjadi bekal utama di era global. Terdapat kesenjangan penelitian mengenai efektivitas implementasi kebijakan pembiayaan program short course TOEFL di lembaga pendidikan tinggi, khususnya terkait aksesibilitas dan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan, efektivitas, serta dampak pembiayaan short course TOEFL di Unit Pembinaan Bahasa (UBINSA) STAI Sangatta Kutai Timur. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pembiayaan mencerminkan prinsip pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkeadilan, dengan pemberian subsidi tanpa diskriminasi latar belakang ekonomi dan pengaturan anggaran tahunan yang mencakup biaya operasional serta honorarium instruktur. Kebijakan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris mahasiswa, yang terlihat dari peningkatan skor TOEFL peserta dan motivasi mereka dalam mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa lebih lanjut. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, infrastruktur, dan kualifikasi instruktur perlu diatasi untuk menjaga keberlanjutan dan efektivitas program secara berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya perbaikan fasilitas dan peningkatan kualitas instruktur sebagai langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas program short course TOEFL di UBINSA, sejalan dengan prinsip manajemen pendidikan yang berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya evaluasi dan perbaikan kebijakan pembiayaan serta manajemen yang lebih efisien untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan peningkatan kualitas program short course TOEFL di UBINSA, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa di era global.

Abstract

Effective financial management is vital for private universities in ensuring operational sustainability and improving the quality of education. However, many private universities, especially those located in areas far from large cities, face major challenges in managing their sources of income. Based on previous research, there is still a gap in understanding in depth how to calculate and manage sources of income in private universities, especially in the local context. This study aims to identify and analyse sources of income, mechanisms for managing and calculating income, and challenges faced by STAI Sangatta East Kutai in optimising income. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, through interviews and document analysis. The main findings of this study indicate that financial management at STAI Sangatta East Kutai shows significant challenges, especially related to sudden needs that are not planned in the Budget and Cost Plan and initial budget limitations. To overcome these obstacles, STAIS has implemented various innovative solutions, such as optimising temporary funds, returning the budget after the next disbursement, and prioritising programs with spending efficiency. In addition, strategic steps such as strengthening relations with local governments, increasing the efficiency of fund management, and developing independent income strategies through flagship programs have contributed to the sustainability of the institution's operations. This adaptive and strategic approach not only strengthens the financial stability of STAI Sangatta East Kutai but also becomes a relevant management model for similar institutions facing higher education financing dynamics.

Abstract

Reducing stunting and sanitation have become important goals in national sustainable development. Nutrition and sanitation education are very important to prevent stunting because children's growth and development require optimal nutrition and a healthy environment. This research is a community service activity formulated in the form of socialization of stunting prevention and reduction in East Kutai Regency. This activity aims to provide students with an understanding of the need for early stunting prevention and can play a role in improving adolescent nutrition, especially iron in adolescents as preparation for becoming prospective mothers to prevent anemia. Furthermore, it can be concluded that Stunting is a world problem because its implications determine the future of the nation. Indonesia as a developing country has a high prevalence of stunting, so various prevention efforts are needed, including through socialization as carried out at the Sangatta Kutai Timur Islamic College

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Islamic Spiritual Activity Unit (ROHIS) in shaping the social behaviour of students at SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Pulung, as well as identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that ROHIS plays a role in: (1) shaping religious character through routine activities such as Wednesday Prayer, which is held every week on Wednesdays with congregational dhuha prayers followed by collective prayers and halal bi halal, and Friday Taqwa, which is held at the beginning of each month on the first week with a religious lecture delivered by students of SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Pulung and collective prayers; (2) fostering good moral character through PHBI activities and the promotion of the 5S principles; (3) motivating students to study; (4) improving PAI learning outcomes; and (5) channeling students' interests and talents in Islamic arts, where students are free to express their interests and talents within ROHIS, such as habsyi. Supporting factors include school support, active student participation, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure. Hindering factors include a lack of student interest, insufficient socialisation, negative stigma, and peer influence. This study concludes that ROHIS plays a significant role in shaping students' social behaviour through various structured and planned activities. However, further efforts are needed to overcome the inhibiting factors so that the role of ROHIS can be more optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the legal certainty of marriage registration from the perspective of Maqashid al-Syariah, with a case study at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Bengalon District. Although marriage registration is not a pillar or requirement for the validity of a marriage in Islamic law, it plays a crucial role in ensuring legal certainty, protecting the rights of spouses and children, and preventing future disputes. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews with the head of the KUA and marriage registration officers, and documentation from relevant sources. This approach allows for an in-depth understanding of the marriage registration process in relation to the core objectives of Islamic law (al-Kulliyat al-Khams). The findings indicate that marriage registration supports legal certainty in accordance with the five main goals of Maqashid al-Syariah: protecting religion (hifz al-din) by ensuring compliance with Islamic and state legal norms; protecting life (hifz al-nafs) by safeguarding the rights of spouses and children; preserving lineage (hifz al-nasl) by securing the legal status and inheritance rights of children; preventing illegal or unrecognized marriages, which contributes to social order; and protecting wealth (hifz al-mal) by ensuring economic rights within marriage. Thus, marriage registration serves as a vital instrument in promoting public welfare.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan memberikan interpretasi berkaitan dengan menata ulang manajemen sekolah tentang ketimpangan kualitas dan akses pendidikan SMK Saat ini, Strategi manajemen SMK dalam menghadapi ketimpangan mutu dan akses antara SMK, serta kelebihan dan kekurangan strategi manajemen SMK di tengah kesenjangan mutu dan akses. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kutai Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tiga metode utama; observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif dari Miles, Huberman& Saldana, yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketimpangan mutu dan akses pendidikan vokasi di wilayah Kutai Timur merupakan kenyataan yang nyata dan kompleks. SMK unggulan di pusat kabupaten telah mengadopsi berbagai inovasi seperti digitalisasi manajemen dan Teaching Factory yang produktif, sementara SMK di daerah pinggiran masih menghadapi berbagai keterbatasan dalam aspek kerja sama industri, pendanaan, dan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Ketimpangan tersebut secara langsung mempengaruhi daya saing lulusan SMK dan memperlebar kesenjangan kesempatan kerja antarwilayah. temuan penelitian juga mengindikasikan bahwa manajemen SMK perlu ditata ulang secara menyeluruh dan adaptif terhadap konteks lokal. Sistem pengelolaan yang responsif, partisipatif, serta berbasis potensi dan tantangan Desa menjadi kunci utama dalam mengatasi persoalan mutu dan akses. Perluasan kerja sama dengan industri lokal, penguatan kapasitas kepala sekolah, serta pembenahan sistem anggaran menjadi bagian dari solusi strategis yang harus segera diimplementasikan.

Abstract

This study introduces a genre-annotated academic corpus for Indonesian and evaluates IndoSciBERT, a domain-specific NLP model trained on this resource. To address the scarcity of rhetorical datasets in low-resource languages, we compiled a 52,300-document corpus from DOAJ and SINTA-indexed journals (2015–2025) and annotated 5,200 paragraphs using the CARS and Argumentative Zoning frameworks. IndoSciBERT was then fine-tuned for rhetorical classification. We employed GROBID for PDF to TEI conversion, TEITOK for annotation, and SIPEBI/KBBI for spelling normalization. The IndoSciBERT model was benchmarked against IndoBERT on rhetorical classification tasks. IndoSciBERT achieved an F1 score of 0.82 and an accuracy of 84.2%, outperforming the baseline model and showing strong reliability in distinguishing rhetorical moves. These results affirm the value of domain-specific modeling for educational applications. The annotated corpus not only supports genre analysis, pedagogy, and automated writing feedback, but also establishes a foundation for inclusive NLP. In particular, this work makes a distinct contribution by offering a sustainable path to enhance academic literacy in Bahasa Indonesia through intelligent, genre-aware tools.

Abstract

This study investigates the interactional functions of local pragmatic markers (PMs) in Indonesian English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. While pragmatic markers such as okay and so are widely documented in global academic discourse, local markers like kan, dong, and sih remain underexplored. The objective of this research is to analyze how these culturally embedded markers support pedagogical interaction and contribute to classroom discourse management. Data were taken from transcripts of six Indonesian EFL classes. A corpus-based approach was applied using the IRF (Initiation–Response–Feedback) model and function-based coding. Marker frequency was normalized per 1,000 words and categorized by speaker role, turn position, and discourse function. To provide comparison, data from the MICASE and ELFA corpora were also analyzed. Results show that local PMs serve both textual and interpersonal functions. Teachers used kan to affirm responses, dong to encourage participation, and nah to mark procedural shifts. These markers enhanced Classroom Interactional Competence by facilitating smoother transitions, reducing student anxiety, and promoting learner engagement. Compared to MICASE and ELFA, which lack these markers, the Indonesian classrooms demonstrated a discourse style shaped by cultural values such as consensus and relational harmony. The findings highlight the pedagogical significance of integrating local pragmatic norms into EFL instruction. Recognizing and leveraging these markers can enhance communicative effectiveness and cultural inclusivity in language education. This study contributes to expanding models of pragmatic competence and affirms the importance of localized discourse analysis in multilingual educational contexts.

Abstract

Training in singing the Azan and Iqamah among TPA students is very important, but often this training has not received serious attention, so the skills in singing the Azan and Iqamah among TPA students are not optimal. The aim of this service is to explore training in giving the call to prayer and Iqamah for TPA students. The method for implementing this service uses participatory action research (PAR). The results of the service are that the implementation of activities begins by conducting a survey at the Al-Mu'min Mosque TPA; the second stage is providing information to the TPA teachers to hold Adhan and Iqamah training; and the third stage is carrying out training activities. The results of the activity show that the children of the Al-Mu'min Mosque TPA in Lake Redan Village have the ability to pronounce the Adhan and Iqamah well, so it can be concluded that the Adhan and Iqamah training program will run smoothly and in line with expectations. It is hoped that this service can contribute to improving the quality of Islamic religious education in the TPA environment, as well as help strengthen the religious identity and Islamic skills of students as a competent next generation
