Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem of Benoa Bay is an estuarine area that plays a significant role in providing food sources for various types of biota, both aquatic and terrestrial. In addition, mangrove ecosystems are also greatly influenced by human activities such as development in mangrove areas and environmental pollution, which indirectly affect the presence of biota in those mangrove ecosystems. The purpose of this research is to understand the fish community structure and water conditions in the mangrove ecosystem of Benoa Bay. This research was conducted in October – November 2023 at 4 stations with 2 repetitions at each station. Fish sampling using gill nets with a mesh size of 2 inches.  The fish catch results in the Teluk Benoa mangrove ecosystem consist of 8 families and 10 species. Station II has the highest fish abundance among the other stations, with 8 species, while the lowest fish abundance is found at Station III, with 5 species. The fish species most commonly found in Benoa Bay is Leiognathus equulus or Cotek Fish, with a total of 188 individuals. Meanwhile, the fish species with the least number are Tripoddichthys blochii and Lobotes surinamensis, with only 1 individual each.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between Body Image and Social Comparison with Social Anxiety among female students at SMK Putra Bangsa. This research is a multivariate correlation study using data collection techniques in the form of Body Image Scale, Social Comparison Scale, and Social Anxiety Scale. The population in this study consists of individuals aged 15-16 years who are active students of SMK Putra Bangsa in class X. The sample of this study consists of 128 respondents, selected using the Saturated Sampling technique. The Body Image variable scale is the MBSRQ_AS or Multidimensional Body Self Relations Questionnaire Appearance Scale. The Social Comparison Scale is the Upward and Downward Appearance Comparison Scale (UDACS), while the Social Anxiety Scale is the SAS-A scale. The analysis results show that the correlation coefficient of the product moment Pearson between Body Image and social anxiety is r = 0.327, Social Comparison and Social Anxiety is r = 0.388, and the relationship between Body Image and Social Comparison with Social Anxiety among female students at SMK Putra Bangsa has a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.442. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between Body Image and Social Comparison with Social Anxiety among female students at SMK Putra Bangsa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of palm oil price and productivity on the income of palm oil farmers in Pir Trans Sosa II Village, Hutaraja Tinggi District, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra. The sample in this study was taken using the slovin formula, namely 75 observed samples. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing with the help of a computer program, namely SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) 25. The results of this study can be seen that the price of oil palm partially has a significant effect on farmers' income, productivity partially has no significant effect on farmers' income, price and productivity together have a significant effect on Farmer income.

Abstract

Mooi Park is one of the tourist attractions that is developing in Saoka, Sorong City, Southwest Papua, and has great potential to improve the economy of the local community. This research aims to analyze the role of the Mooi Park tourist attraction in increasing the income of the surrounding community.The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the existence of Moooi Park has a positive impact on the economy of the community around the Mooi Park tourist attraction through various sectors, such as increasing business opportunities in the fields of tourism services and trade. Apart from that, the existence of this tourist attraction also creates new jobs that support improving the welfare of the surrounding community. With support from the government and tourism managers, Mooi Park has the potential to become a leading destination.

Abstract

Archiving letters and administrative documents plays an important role in the operational activities of an educational institution. However, many educational institutions, including At-Tajdid Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya, face challenges in manual archiving, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. This study aims to address these issues by developing a Web-Based Letter Archiving Information System using the CodeIgniter framework at At-Tajdid Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya. This research adopts the Extreme Programming (XP) approach in the system development process. The main objective is to create a solution to overcome the problems of manual letter archiving. By designing and implementing a web-based information system, it is expected to simplify the archiving process, reduce human errors, and improve efficiency and accuracy in data retrieval. The expected outcome of this research is the design and implementation of a Web-Based Letter Archiving Information System at At-Tajdid Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya. This system will replace the conventional archiving process with a digital method that utilizes the latest information technology. By using the CodeIgniter framework, the system will provide better accessibility.

Abstract

This study is a study that aims to understand the influence of Viral Marketing and celebrity endorsers on the interest in buying Azarine make-up products. This study is a quantitative type that uses a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 (one hundred) respondents. In the process of collecting respondent data, it was designed by creating an online questionnaire via Google Form with the intermediary of the message column on the TikTok application for 100 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique and combined with the purposive sampling method. Data analysis used in the study that has been carried out using multiple linear regression and coefficient of determination. With the results obtained from this study, it is explained as follows: (1) Viral Marketing (X1) has a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest: (2) celebrity endorsers have a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest: (3) Viral Marketing and celebrity endorsers have a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic values on the financial management strategies of Generation Z in the digital era. As a generation born in the digital age, Generation Z has unique characteristics in managing finances, often influenced by a consumerist lifestyle and technological advancements. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, focusing on individuals' subjective experiences in understanding financial management based on Islamic values. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving Generation Z in Cellu Village, Tanete Riattang Timur District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The findings indicate that Islamic values, such as the principles of justice, the prohibition of usury (riba), transparency, and the importance of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah, play a significant role in shaping Generation Z's financial management strategies. However, challenges such as limited Islamic financial literacy and the temptation of a consumerist lifestyle often hinder effective implementation. Additionally, the digital era presents both opportunities and challenges in financial management, offering easy access to technology and Islamic finance applications. This study is expected to provide new insights into the importance of Islamic financial literacy for Generation Z and encourage the application of Islamic values in effective and beneficial financial management, particularly in the digital era, which is filled with both challenges and opportunities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of a combination of PGPR, Chicken Manure and NPK and to find the best dose for the growth and yield of radish plants on acid sulphate land with a water saturated cultivation system. This research will take place from July – September 2023. The research will be carried out at Golden River Camp Jl. Raya Kalimas Hulu, Punggur Kecil, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. The design used was a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 8 treatment levels repeated 4 times. Each experimental unit consists of 4 plant samples. The treatment in question is A = 0 ml/l PGPR + 10 tons/ha chicken manure + 300 kg/ha NPK, B = 15 ml/l PGPR + 10 tons/ha chicken manure + 300 kg/ha NPK, C = 0 ml /l PGPR + 10 tons/ha chicken manure + 600 kg/ha NPK, D = 0 ml/l PGPR + 20 tons/ha chicken manure + 300 kg/ha NPK, E = 15 ml/l PGPR + 10 tons/ha chicken manure + 0 kg/ha NPK, F = 15 ml/l PGPR + 20 tons/ha chicken manure + 0 kg/ha NPK, G = 15 ml/l PGPR + 10 tons/ha chicken manure + 600 kg/ha NPK , and H = 15 ml/l PGPR + 0 ton/ha chicken manure + 600 kg/ha NPK. Observation variables include: number of leaves, leaf area, tuber length, tuber diameter, plant fresh weight, tuber fresh weight, tuber fresh weight, and plant dry weight. The results of the diversity analysis of administering various combination doses of PGPR, Chicken Manure and NPK gave no significant effect on all observed variables. In this study, the combination of PGPR, Chicken Manure and NPK gave equally good results.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between attachment style and homesickness among students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Ihya Ulumiddin. The research uses a quantitative approach. Two scales are employed: the Attachment Style Questionnaire (ASQ) by Feeney et al. (1994) to measure the attachment style variable, and the Utrecht Homesickness Scale (UHS) by Stroebe et al. (2002) to measure the homesickness variable. The population in this study consists of all male and female students in the seventh grade residing at Pondok Pesantren Ihya Ulumiddin, totaling 119 research subjects. The sampling technique used is total sampling (saturation sampling). The analysis results show that the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient between attachment style and homesickness is r = 0.419 with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), indicating a significant relationship between attachment style and homesickness among students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Ihya Ulumiddin. Furthermore, differences were found in the relationship between each type of attachment style and the homesickness variable: secure attachment style has a significant negative relationship with homesickness (r = -0.294, p<0.05), while avoidant attachment style (r = 0.465, p<0.05) and anxious/ambivalent attachment style (r = 0.320, p<0.05) show a significant positive relationship with homesickness.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as one of the key innovations in modern healthcare. By connecting medical devices, IoT provides real-time access to patient data, enhances service efficiency, and supports faster clinical decision-making. This literature review evaluates the application of IoT in healthcare, covering its benefits in remote monitoring, the development of smart devices, and the challenges faced regarding data security and infrastructure. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with quality assessment parameters to evaluate relevant literature. The findings reveal that IoT plays a significant role in creating more accessible healthcare services, although further development is needed to address existing technological limitations.
