Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Tingkat Keterampilan Passing pada Permainan Sepakbola Pemain SSB Persitas Desa Peradun Temeras. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei dan teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Pemain SSB Persitas desa Peradun Temeras yang berusia 17 tahun dengan jumlah total 30 Pemain. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif berbasis persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterampilan dasar passing pada pemain SSB Persitas Desa Peradun Temeras usia 17 tahun, dapat diketahui bahwa mayoritas pemain (83,3%) berada dalam kategori baik dan sedang, yang menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan dasar passing secara umum telah terbentuk meskipun belum merata secara optimal. Sepertiga pemain telah menunjukkan kemampuan passing yang stabil dan akurat, namun setengahnya masih memerlukan peningkatan melalui latihan teknik dasar yang lebih intensif dan terstruktur. Dan sebanyak 16,7% pemain berada dalam kategori kurang, yang menandakan perlunya perhatian khusus dari pelatih dalam pembinaan teknik dasar passing secara individual.Faktor-faktor seperti keterbatasan sarana-prasarana, motivasi, dan kedisiplinan latihan turut memengaruhi hasil keterampilan passing para pemain. Permukaan lapangan yang kurang layak serta sikap pemain yang belum disiplin menjadi hambatan dalam peningkatan kemampuan teknik dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance with role play techniques in improving disciplinary behavior. quantitative approach with quasi-experimental method in the form of quasi-experimental design through nonequivalent control group Group consisting of 78 populations with 22 research samples. This study uses Purposive Sampling technique. And using primary data in the form of questionnaires and providing treatment in the form of pretest and post-test with role play as the results of the study so that it shows that there is an influence between the role play variable (X) on disciplinary behavior (Y) on aspects of discipline, which consists of discipline Mental attitude (mental attitude), discipline in enforcing rules, discipline attitude and discipline in behavior.

Abstract

Student attendance is one of the essential aspects of school administration to monitor students' presence and discipline. The manual attendance system still used at SMP Negeri 6 Medan is considered ineffective as it requires time, effort, and is prone to recording errors. This study aims to develop a web-based online attendance application that utilizes the Ray Casting algorithm to verify students' locations when marking their attendance. The Ray Casting algorithm is used to determine whether the GPS coordinates of the student’s location are within a polygon area representing the school’s location. The system is built using PHP, HTML, CSS programming languages, and a MySQL database, along with GPS-enabled devices. The system development method uses an Agile approach, which includes planning, design, coding, testing, and implementation stages. Testing was conducted on a number of students from SMP Negeri 6 Medan, with main features including user login, GPS location retrieval, selfie photo, and attendance history recording. The test results show that the system can verify attendance automatically and accurately. This application is expected to improve efficiency, reduce fraud, and serve as a reference for developing location-based attendance systems at SMP Negeri 6 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model Make a Match on students’ activeness and learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS). The research employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 20 eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Cirebon. Research instruments consisted of a learning outcomes test and a student activeness observation sheet. The findings showed that the average pretest score of 71.80 increased to 83.40 in the posttest. Both normality and homogeneity tests met the statistical assumptions, while the independent t-test indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This result demonstrates that the application of the Make a Match learning model has a significant effect on students’ activeness and learning outcomes in Social Studies. Therefore, this model can be considered an innovative and enjoyable learning strategy to improve the quality of Social Studies learning in schools.

Abstract

The poverty line is the minimum expenditure required by an individual to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare. If a person’s expenditure falls below this threshold, they are categorized as poor. This study aims to analyze the influence of Life Expectancy, Average Years of Schooling, Expected Years of Schooling, Per Capita Income, and Population on the Poverty Line in Southeast Minahasa Regency. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results show that Life Expectancy, Per Capita Income, and Population have a positive and significant effect on the Poverty Line. Meanwhile, Average Years of Schooling and Expected Years of Schooling have no significant effect on the Poverty Line in Southeast Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Curriculum change is not merely administrative but must reflect the evolving needs and characteristics of students. Therefore, this study focuses on how learning interest and student achievement influence the direction and nature of curriculum changes in child-oriented Islamic elementary education settings. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which learning interest and student achievement affect curriculum changes implemented in Ramah Anak Islamic Elementary Schools in the Cilodong Sub-district. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey technique. The sample consists of 15% of the population, totaling 85 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument used was a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research findings indicate that students’ learning interest significantly affects curriculum change, as does academic achievement. Both variables simultaneously contribute positively to the dynamics of the implemented curriculum. The conclusion of this study is that learning interest and student achievement are two critical factors that must be considered in the curriculum change process at Ramah Anak Islamic Elementary Schools. An effective curriculum should be designed based on the actual needs of students. Therefore, the results of this study can serve as a basis for policy-making at the school and educational institution levels to support more meaningful and sustainable learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik psikodrama dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. Kepercayaan diri merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan remaja yang memengaruhi prestasi akademik, interaksi sosial, dan pembentukan kepribadian (Lauster, 2015; Santrock, 2018). Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kepercayaan diri rendah, terlihat dari perilaku enggan berpendapat, pasif dalam diskusi, dan ketergantungan pada teman sebaya (Hurlock, 2012). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) model one group pre-test and post-test (Sugiyono, 2019). Populasi penelitian berjumlah 160 siswa kelas XI, dengan 13 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling berdasarkan rekomendasi guru BK. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket kepercayaan diri dengan 30 item yang dikembangkan dari lima dimensi kepercayaan diri menurut Lauster (2015), dengan reliabilitas Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,87. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 64,08 (kategori rendah) pada pre-test menjadi 119,69 (kategori tinggi) pada post-test. Uji t berpasangan menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p < 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik psikodrama efektif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya (Amalia, 2017; Dewi et al., 2018; Herwanto, 2018; Ningsih, 2023; Yusup, 2023) yang menegaskan efektivitas psikodrama sebagai strategi konseling kelompok.

Abstract

The background of this research is built upon the crucial role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in addressing the moral challenges of the younger generation, as well as the need for appropriate strategies to instill character values, particularly in junior high schools, which represent a critical transitional period in students’ personality formation. This study is also motivated by the author’s concern over the current condition of students, who often show a lack of good manners and modesty, and are negatively influenced by poor social interactions, the adverse impacts of social media, insufficient parental guidance, the weakening of the education system, and the lack of affection and care. These circumstances prompted the researcher to explore students’ needs in terms of character formation, in order to address this concern and contribute to improving and developing efforts to foster students’ character in schools. The purpose of this study is to examine the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling character values in students at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ, to identify which character values are being instilled, and to explain the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of these strategies. The study specifically aims to describe the strategies of PAI teachers in cultivating character values among students at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research were PAI teachers and students at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively using qualitative methods, which involved data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ employ various strategies in instilling character values, including integrative approaches in the learning process, role modeling through attitudes and behavior, habituation of positive values within the school environment, as well as providing motivation and spiritual guidance. The dominant character values instilled include religiosity, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, and cooperation. These strategies have been proven effective in shaping students’ character and personality.

Abstract

Elementary education faces significant challenges in the digital era, where teachers are required to possess professional competencies that not only include mastery of subject matter but also the ability to adapt to technological developments and the characteristics of digital-native students. This study aims to analyze the competencies of Millennial and Generation Z teachers in public elementary schools in Mentok District in responding to educational challenges, and identify the forms of professional competence implemented by both generations in classroom practices. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation involving elementary school teachers in Mentok District. The findings reveal that Millennial teachers demonstrate professional competence through systematic lesson planning, reflection, discipline, and moral exemplification. Meanwhile, Generation Z teachers highlight creativity, flexibility, and the use of digital tools such as Canva, Kahoot, and Quizizz to foster more interactive learning. These differences are not barriers but rather opportunities for collaboration: Millennial teachers provide stability and moral values, while Generation Z teachers offer digital innovation and interactivity. Therefore, cross-generational collaboration is a strategic approach to enhancing teacher professionalism and improving the quality of elementary education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze transgender speech acts in Deddy Corbuzier’s YouTube podcast Close The Door, focusing on categories of speech acts and politeness strategies. The research employed a qualitative method, with data collected through documentation and transcription of selected episodes featuring transgender guests. The findings reveal that assertive speech acts dominate the conversation, followed by expressive, directive, and commissive acts. The speakers used language to assert identity, express emotions, provide advice, and build commitment. Politeness strategies identified include positive politeness, negative politeness, wisdom, and face-saving acts, which serve to maintain self-image and reduce social stigma. In conclusion, language functions not only as a tool of communication but also as an instrument of identity negotiation, enabling transgender individuals to construct counter-narratives against stereotypes in digital public spaces.
