Abstract

This study examines the effect of Instagram social media use and body image on students’ self-confidence at SMA Negeri 9 Purworejo. In the digital era, social media platforms such as Instagram have become a dominant space for adolescents to interact, present themselves, and seek social validation. Excessive exposure to idealized images can shape body image and influence self-confidence. Using a quantitative correlational design, the research involved 170 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires measuring Instagram use, body image, and self-confidence. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that Instagram use and body image simultaneously have a significant positive effect on self-confidence. These findings indicate that healthy Instagram use and a positive body image contribute to greater self-confidence among students, highlighting the importance of social media literacy and self-acceptance in adolescence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and financial inclusion simultaneously on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digitalization era at Grocery Stores in Kabun District. This study uses a type of quantitative research, where the research results can be processed using mathematical and statistical calculations. The population used in this study is the number of MSMEs according to the scale of business and Kabun District based on data from the UKM cooperative office, transmigration and labor of Rokan Hulu in 2021-2024 with a total of 2,267 MSMEs. The sampling technique used the slovin formula, with a sample size of 96 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was to distribute questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used SPSS ver.30 software. The results of this study indicate that the t test results show that financial literacy (X1) has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs (Y), in the t test results financial inclusion (X2) also significantly affects the performance of MSMEs (Y) and the results of the f test show that financial literacy and financial inclusion have a significant effect simultaneously on the performance of MSMEs. It is known that the t test results which have the highest t value and beta coefficient are financial literacy, so that financial literacy has the strongest influence on MSME performance compared to financial inclusion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the export reference price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and the USD exchange rate on export duty revenue at the Customs and Excise Office Type Madya Pabean B Palembang. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are monthly secondary data from January 2019 to December 2024, sourced from official institutions such as the Ministry of Trade, Bank Indonesia, and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. The results indicate that both the export reference price and the USD exchange rate have a positive and significant effect on export duty revenue, both partially and simultaneously. The regression model used is able to explain a substantial portion of the variation in export duty revenue over time. The study concludes that price and exchange rate dynamics are key factors in optimizing state revenue from the export sector.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in culture, influenced by various geographical conditions and a long historical journey, resulting in the formation of various traditions that are still preserved to this day. This research discusses the Seren Taun ceremony tradition in Cigugur, Kuningan, West Java, as one of the cultural traditions of the Sundanese community. Seren Taun has three main values. First, as an expression of gratitude to God for a sufficient harvest, this tradition teaches the importance of gratitude to the God of the universe. Second, Seren Taun serves as a unifying medium for the people of Cigugur who live in religious and belief diversity, fostering relationships among fellow humans. Third, this ceremony plays a role in preserving traditions passed down by previous generations, thereby fostering a love for preserving nature. Seren Taun is not just a ceremonial traditional ritual, but serves as an educational medium to preserve the cultural identity of the Sundanese ancestors.

Abstract

Pneumonia remains one of the leading cause of death among under-fives in urban areas in Indonesia. PM2.5 fine dust particles as a component of air pollution play a role in increasing the risk of pneumonia through airway damage and decreased immunity. Microclimatic conditions such as temperature, humidity, and rainfall also exacerbate the impact of PM2.5. Factors such as exclusive breastfeeding, nutritional status, vitamin A supplementation, measles immunization coverage, home ventilation, and the surrounding environment are crucial in determining the susceptibility of under-fives to pneumonia. This study used a literature study method with a theme analysis approach and synthesized relevant primary sources published between 2017 and 2025. The results showed a positive correlation between PM2.5 concentrations and the incidence of under-five pneumonia in several urban areas in Indonesia. The complex interactions between PM2.5 exposure, microclimatic conditions, and social, economic, and environmental factors suggest the need for more comprehensive public health interventions. PM2.5 exposure control needs to be accompanied by efforts to improve nutritional status, promote exclusive breastfeeding, immunization, and improve the quality of the home environment as a more comprehensive preventive measure. To support more effective policy development, further research with spatial data and socio-economic aspects is needed to design effective and sustainable urban public health policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari ditemukannya permasalahan di sekolah yaitu terdapat beberapa anak yang sulit untuk menjaga sikap perilaku terhadap sesama temannya, kurang menunjukkan sopan santun, dan tolong menolong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui; 1) Perkembangan moral anak usia dini melalui media video animasi kisah Nabi Musa as., 2) Perkembangan moral anak usia dini melalui media buku cerita kisah Nabi Musa as., dan 3) Pengaruh media video animasi kisah Nabi Musa as. dengan media buku cerita pada perkembangan moral anak usia dini. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pemikiran bahwa pengembangan moral anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui media video animasi yaitu dengan menggunakan kisah Nabi Musa as. Perkembangan moral adalah proses di mana anak-anak belajar membedakan antara benar dan salah serta mengembangkan nilai-nilai etika dan moralitas. Penelitian ini melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol untuk mengukur perkembangan moralnya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dalam perkembanagn moral anak dengan menggunakan media video animasi dengan media buku cerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 27 anak di kelompok B RA Hidayatul Aziz. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, yang berarti semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan moral anak usia dini menggunakan media video animasi di kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 65 yang diinterpretasikan kategori cukup dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 83 yang diinterpretasikan kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan perkembangan moral anak usia dini menggunakan media buku cerita di kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 52 yang diinterpretasikan kategori kurang dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 70 yang diinterpretasikan kategori baik. Hasil yang diperoleh t_hitung > t_tabel dengan nilai 2,38 < 2,06 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, maka hipotesis H_o ditolak dan H_a diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan perkembangan moral anak usia dini antara media video animasi dan media buku cerita di kelompok B RA Hidayatul Aziz Kota Bandung.

Abstract

Community service activities are one of the obligations that must be carried out by every lecturer in Higher Education. The proposed Community Service Activity is entitled: Social Capital-Based Mentoring to Improve Women's Welfare in the Kppi Organization (Indonesian Coastal Women's Union) in Bagan Deli, Medan Belawan District. Mentoring based on strengthening social capital for female fishers in the Indonesian Coastal Women's Union (KPPI) Medan organization is an empowerment strategy that aims to improve their welfare through the utilization of social networks, trust, and community norms. This program not only focuses on increasing individual capacity, but also strengthening social relationships that can open access to economic opportunities, resources, and social protection. By strengthening social capital, female fishers in the Indonesian Coastal Women's Union (KPPI) Medan organization can more easily share information, obtain support in facing challenges, and increase their competitiveness. In addition, this activity also encourages the active participation of female fishers in decision-making in the community, increases awareness of their rights, and strengthens solidarity and collaboration among group members. With the assistance provided, it is hoped that female fishermen will not only experience increased economic welfare, but also gain greater recognition in the fisheries sector and in their social life as a whole.

Abstract

The objective of this research "Implementation of Scout Activities to Increase Students' Interpersonal Intelligence at MTs Thoriqul Huda Catakgayam Mojowarno Jombang". This research was conducted because the researcher saw that each student actually has potential and abilities in their respective fields and each potential can be developed, one of which is through scout activities. So far, researchers have read that scouts have an influence that can foster students' interpersonal intelligence. However, we ourselves do not know how the process of planning, implementing and evaluating scout activities is, so this research will also focus on these 3 things, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Meanwhile, the aim is to understand the 3 focuses of the discussion above. This research uses a field research method that uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Researchers conducted interviews with subjects, namely the Head of the Madrasah, Scoutmaster and 2 Students at MTs Thoriqul Huda Catakgayam. After conducting observations, interviews and documentation, the researchers found that the planning, implementation and evaluation of scout activities contained social sensitivity, social insight and social communication in accordance with the components of interpersonal intelligence. The conclusion of this research is that Scout activities contribute significantly to developing students' interpersonal intelligence, so it is recommended that they continue to be improved and made part of character development strategies in the school environment.

Abstract

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that can cause various complications, one of which is diabetic ulcers. Long-term DM and poor glycemic control, as indicated by high HbA1C levels, are thought to contribute to the development of diabetic ulcers. Methods: This study employed an observational analysis approach with a cross-sectional design. The data collection method used total sampling, with 86 samples drawn from the total population. Analysis used the Spearman Rank test with a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 0.05. Results: The majority of respondents were aged 40–60 years, with a duration of DM ≥5 years (73.3%), HbA1C >6.4% (75.6%), and grade 1 diabetic ulcers (26.7%). Spearman rank analysis results showed a significant relationship between the duration of type 2 DM and the incidence of diabetic ulcers (r = 0.267; p = 0.01) and a significant relationship between HbA1C and the incidence of diabetic ulcers (r = 0.482; p = 0.01). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the duration of type 2 DM and HbA1C with the incidence of diabetic ulcers in type 2 DM patients at Roemani Hospital

Abstract

Financial investment is important for Indonesian people to prepare for their future financially. In this digital era, social media such as Twitter have become popular platforms for sharing opinions and views on various topics including financial investments. By leveraging the data available on Twitter, sentiment analysis can be used to understand user views and opinions regarding financial investments in Indonesia. The Naive Bayes method can be used to perform sentiment analysis on Twitter data by utilizing probability theory to classify tweets with positive, negative or neutral views about financial investment in Indonesia. The amount of tweet data is unbalanced, so it is necessary to do SMOTE over-sampling so that the dataset is balanced and do the testing using k-fold validation so that you can see the confision matrix and get the values for accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score. Based on the sentiments obtained from Twitter social media, it shows that Twitter social media users have positive sentiments towards financial investment in Indonesia with a total number of positive sentiments of 426 data from a total of 1000 tweet data. Unbalanced data affects the classification results, namely an accuracy of 45% with the SMOTE up-sampling method and an accuracy of 89% without using the SMOTE up-sampling method.
