Abstract

This article aims to review information about Student Introduction and School Atmosphere at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. The method used is an exploratory method. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. The subject of the research was one of the educators of the Mathematics study program at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok who teaches in class XII along with students of class XII at SMA Negeri 1 Kuok. The results of the study showed that the researcher gained new experiences and provided the researcher with extensive knowledge for the future in the teaching and learning process as a prospective student. The researcher can also find out the situation and conditions related to the school concerned. The implications of personality at SMAN 1 Kuok are very good, both for educators and students. Educators have mature, wise, authoritative and noble personalities who are role models for students. The implications of professional competence of educators and pedagogy in improving student learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Kuok have been implemented, but during the Covid19 pandemic, the implementation process was considered less than optimal. The less than optimal professional competence of educators has an impact on improving student learning outcomes. Pedagogical competence at SMAN 1 Kuok has been implemented and educators are able to manage student learning. The implications of social competence at SMAN 1 Kuok have been implemented, educators interact effectively and efficiently with students, fellow educators, education personnel, guardians of students and the community.

Abstract

This article aims to review information about the Introduction of Students and the Atmosphere of Junior High Schools/Equivalent High Schools at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang City. The methods used are observation and interview methods. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang City. The technical implementation of Internship I began with the preparation and briefing stage. Then continued with the implementation stage of internship I, making a final report and ending with a Seminar. The results of the study showed that the internship activity l carried out at SMPN 1 Bangkinang City for 2 months and 8 meetings, it can be concluded that SMPN 1 Bangkinang City has good integrity, both in terms of facilities and in its learning process. SMPN 1 Bangkinang City has a spacious school environment with the condition of the building used very supportive for good and conducive teaching and learning activities. The school building is equipped with sufficient classrooms and has complete facilities. The atmosphere of the school environment is full of trees so that the air around the school is good and comfortable. In addition, the location of the school is very strategic, namely close to Sadion Tuanku Tambusai Bangkinang City. SMPN 1 Bangkinang Kota has a tradition or good habits that students do every day. One of them is shaking hands every morning with the TEACHER, but now during the Covid-19 pandemic this is not done. And SMPN 1 Bangkinang Kota also has many extracurricular activities and there are many trophies from competition achievements. The facilities and infrastructure at SMPN 1 Bangkinang Kota are adequate to support smooth teaching and learning activities. SMPN 1 Bangkinang Kota also provides a place of worship that is more than just decent, namely the construction of a prayer room. Overall, this school meets good standards in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perbedaan kosa kata terkini yang digunakan oleh Generasi Z dan Generasi Milenial serta implikasinya dalam konteks sosiolinguistik. Perbedaan antar generasi dalam penggunaan bahasa, khususnya bahasa gaul, mencerminkan perubahan budaya, perkembangan teknologi, dan dinamika sosial yang memengaruhi pola komunikasi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan  kualitatif dan bentuk komparatif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi variasi kosa kata gaul dan mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi serta diskusi dengan perwakilan dari masing-masing generasi untuk memahami persepsi mereka terhadap bahasa gaul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi signifikan dalam kosa kata, di mana Generasi Z lebih dipengaruhi oleh budaya digital dan media sosial, sedangkan Milenial cenderung mempertahankan istilah-istilah yang berkembang dari budaya populer era 2000-an. Implikasi sosiolinguistik dari perbedaan ini mencakup aspek identitas, kebiasaan berkomunikasi, serta hubungan antar generasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai perubahan bahasa dalam masyarakat

Abstract

Democracy is an important benchmark for assessing the progress of a country, especially in relation to the absence of social, economic, and political development. In Indonesia, variations in the level of democracy between regions reflect the influence of diverse social and economic aspects. The study of democracy in 2023 is very relevant in efforts to strengthen empowered communities and responsive governance. A comprehensive approach is needed to measure the level of democracy at the provincial level, with related variables such as community literacy index, open poverty rate, freedom, equality, and institutional capacity. This study uses principal component analysis (PCA) and factor analysis to identify the main components and spread the relationship between variables. The KMO test, Bartlett's test, and multivariate normality test were conducted to ensure the feasibility of the data. The results of the analysis show that the data meets the assumption of multivariate normal distribution as well as the criteria for independence and correlation between variables. Based on PCA, it was found that two main components were able to explain the variability of the data. The first component, namely social capacity building, includes four variables: literacy index, freedom, equality, and institutional capacity. The second component includes employment conditions as measured by the open poverty rate.

Abstract

In every education system, there is certainly an expectation for the success of the development of educational institutions. The responsibility for the education of a nation is not solely the task of the central government, but also the responsibility of local governments and every stakeholder involved. As key educational management elements, stakeholders have diverse roles and responsibilities. Stakeholders in improving the quality of school management consist of teachers, parents, school principals, school committees, and the government. All these aspects must then be considered, and an effective collaboration model and strategies must be chosen to improve school management's quality. The goal is to have a positive impact on the improvement of school management quality and to be able to face collaboration challenges as well as to find solutions to those challenges.

Abstract

Mental health is a condition where a person is aware of and has the ability to overcome all forms of stress that occur in normal life in general, as a form and effort to create prosperity in living his daily life. Students who fall into the category of being very vulnerable to being exposed to and influenced by negative things brought by digital media have now become a very important issue. This research aims to understand how and determine effective strategies for using digital media to support the creation of student mental health at Al-Khairiyah Cilegon High School. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with in-depth interviews and observations of students and teaching staff at Al-Khairiyah Cilegon High School. The research results show that digital media can provide positive support to students if used wisely with innovative strategies, such as digital education, providing time limits for use, and being directed to use digital media as learning tools, such as looking for educational, innovative and motivational content to foster enthusiasm. Study. However, the thing that still determines whether this strategy works is that it must be supervised and accompanied by parents and teachers at school.

Abstract

Student management is a crucial component of the education system aimed at organizing and managing all student activities from the beginning to the end of their educational journey. This article analyzes the role of student management in shaping character and developing student potential. Through a structured and continuous approach, student management can create a conducive environment for positive character development and the optimization of student potential. Factors such as the school environment, teacher support, and additional school activities play a significant role in this process. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach to gather data. The findings indicate that habituating positive behavior and creating a supportive environment are highly effective in shaping good student character and maximizing their potential.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in science subjects, particularly in the material about animals around us, is one of the main issues in primary education. Previous research has shown that students' science learning outcomes often demonstrate unsatisfactory achievement. Survey data from various sources indicate that the percentage of students who meet the learning objectives for this material is below the standards set in the national curriculum. The purpose of this study is to identify efforts to improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Uteran 01 through the implementation of Experiential Learning in the Science subject, focusing on the material of animals around us. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research method, involving 15 students. The data collection method employed is testing. The results of the study indicate that the Experiential Learning method has a positive impact on improving the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 01 Uteran in the Science subject related to animals around us.

Abstract

The main challenge in mathematics learning at the elementary school level, particularly in the topic of flat shapes, is often related to students' low interest in mathematics, which is perceived as abstract and difficult to understand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of learning outcomes through a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the topic of flat shapes in grade 2 at SDN Uteran 01. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles, with a total of 8 students participating in the study. Data collection techniques include tests, and the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, using examples of traditional foods such as wajik , onde-onde jenang, lapis, klepon in the mathematics lesson on flat shapes, has proven effective in improving students' learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the improvement in learning outcomes, where in cycle 1, most students achieved very poor results, but in cycle 2, the majority of students achieved good results.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class V students in science subjects by applying the Experiential Learning method on food chain material. The method used in the research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with an Experiential Learning learning design. The research respondents were 12 class V students at SDN Uteran 01 with research instruments in the form of observation sheets to measure student learning outcomes. The research procedure consists of pre-cycle, cycle one and cycle two stages. At the pre-cycle stage, an initial evaluation is carried out in the form of a pre-test to measure student understanding before implementing the Experiential Learning approach. Furthermore, in cycles one and two, an evaluation was carried out in the form of a post test to measure the extent of students' level of understanding after following learning using the Experiential Learning approach. The results showed that at the pre-cycle stage there were 2 students (17%) who achieved a completeness score, this increased in cycle one to 8 students (67%) and again there was an increase in cycle two, namely reaching 10 students (83%) with a score completeness meets the criteria. So it is concluded that the application of Experiential Learning in learning food chains in science subjects significantly improves student learning outcomes.
