Abstract

Functions are defined as rules that relate each domain element to exactly one member of the codomain. The hyperbolic function is a combination of exponential functions that have inverses and derivatives and anti-derivatives of hyperbolic functions and their inverses (Faisal et al., 2012). The main hyperbolic functions are sinh x, cosh x, sech x, and csch x. The derivative of the hyperbolic function is calculated using the derivative of the exponential function formula and the identity formula of other hyperbolic functions. The derivative is a measure of how a function changes as its value changes or how one quantity changes when another quantity changes. Derivatives (derivatives) are the result of the process of differentiation or differentiation of a function. So, derivatives are closely related to differentials (Asyhar, 2018).

Abstract

People who have minimal insight or knowledge result in a lack of knowledge in carrying out tax obligations and ending with non-compliance to carry out these obligations in making tax payments. This study aims to determine the understanding of taxpayers, tax rates and awareness of taxpayers in online shop businesses. This research method applies a qualitative descriptive method in displaying knowledge about taxation, tax rates and taxpayer awareness among online shop business people in Tebing Tinggi City. Based on the results of the first study, Taxpayers' Understanding of Government Regulation Number 23 of 2018 Concerning MSME Tax (Case Study of Taxpayers Registered at the Tebing Tinggi Pratama Tax Office) states that taxpayers' understanding of Government Regulation Number 23 of 2018 is still minimal. Second, Knowledge of all obligations regarding government policy No. 23 of 23 which emphasizes seeing tariffs but without knowing the contents of the provisions regulated to identify PP No. 23 of 2018 Taxpayers are only limited to knowing and there are changes to regulations regarding MSME tariffs. Third, the awareness of onlineshop actors is very minimal about taxes, so there is a great need for accurate and thorough re-socialization regarding the application of income tax so that onlineshop business operators can comply with and understand applicable regulations.

Abstract

Technology has significantly changed how learning and teaching are done in recent years. TikTok is one of the technological tools that many younger generations use today. The most crucial aspect of a language is vocabulary; using this appealing tool, learners can expand their vocabulary. By watching videos and following accounts that can provide English vocabulary lessons, TikTok social media users can also learn new words and phrases more interestingly and interactively. This study uses a quantitative method to study the perceptions of Informatics Engineering students at Cendekia Abditama University in using social media TikTok to increase English vocabulary and how TikTok video content can contribute to students' vocabulary learning goals so that their English vocabulary can increase. Data for the study are gathered quantitatively through a survey questionnaire. There are 50 Informatics Engineering students involved. The results show that students have a favorable perception toward utilizing TikTok to learn English vocabulary. Students also point out that TikTok provides a variety of tools and settings that help to increase English vocabulary.

Abstract

This research aims to see whether there is an influence of the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematical communication skills with the help of Canva as a learning video. This research is included in the quasi-experimental category with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all class IX students of SMPN 2 Deli Tua T.A 2023/2024 with a sample of class IX-4 as the experimental class selected using the cluster random sampling method. The test instruments used in this research are pretest and posttest in the form of presentations which are used to determine students' mathematical communication abilities. Based on the simple linear regression hypothesis test analysis carried out by carrying out prerequisite tests first, the value was obtained, namely which resulted in being accepted, which means that the Canva-assisted Discovery Learning model has a significant influence on students' mathematical communication skills. The magnitude of the influence of the Discovery Learning model with the help of Canva on the mathematical communication skills of students in class IX of SMPN 2 Deli Tua is 64,5% which is calculated through the determinant coefficient test. Factors in the Discovery Learning model learning process cause an influence on students' mathematical communication skills. So the magnitude of the influence of the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematical communication skills is also obtained.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of work conflict and work stress on employee performance in the context of the work environment. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with employees from various industrial sectors. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between the level of work conflict and work stress and employee performance. High work conflict tends to reduce employee performance, while high levels of work stress also have a negative impact on performance. Factors such as social support, conflict management, and stress management programs emerge as mitigating factors that can help improve employee performance in dealing with work conflict and stress. These findings have important implications for human resource management in efforts to improve employee well-being and productivity in challenging work environments.

Abstract

Teachers are a bridge of knowledge for students at school. Therefore, teachers need good skills to transmit knowledge to students at school, because in transferring knowledge to students they must use the best methods so that learning objectives can be achieved as they should. What usually happens in schools is that the teacher's role in the class is more dominant than the students, even though students are also expected to play an active role in the class, being able to convey their ideas and ideas by speaking boldly. However, students will not be able to express their ideas or speak if the teacher does not provide examples and opportunities to speak as well. Therefore, teachers are expected to be able to master the class by speaking fluently and attracting student feedback by using Public Speaking skills so that a good teaching and learning process can occur.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research aims to find out whether the application of the bamboo dancing learning model can improve the learning outcomes of VI A UPT SPF SD Inpres Bangkala II students, Makassar City. The research subjects were 23 students. The research procedure consists of 4 stages each cycle, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The indicator of learning outcomes in this research is the achievement of classical learning completeness. The data collection was carried out using techniques: documentation, observation and tests. The data analysis technique in this research uses qualitative data analysis. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in student activity, namely in cycle I student learning activity was in the good category and in cycle II it increased to the very good category. In cycle I, an average score of 73.48 was obtained with learning completeness of 57%. In cycle II the average score increased to 84.57 with 86% completeness. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the conclusion in this research is that the application of the bamboo dancing model can improve the social studies learning outcomes of class VI A students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bangkala II Makassar City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of E Flashcard media in social studies learning for class III students. This research is quantitative research using pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The data in this research were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. The results show that there is an influence of E Flashcard media in understanding social studies learning for class III UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai students. This is shown by the average pretest score of 62 and posttest 80. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test hypothesis test, the sig. (2-tailed) equal variance assumed obtained 0.000 which shows that 0.000 < 0.05 or in other words (H0) is rejected and (H1) is accepted, which means that there is an influence of E Flashcard media in understanding social studies learning material for class III students.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an important form of program in increasing community participation. The implementation of empowerment will be more effective and efficient with the role of government, community, academics and other supporting parties. In particular, the role of universities in empowering communities with KKN programs is also applied at Muhammadiyah University, Prof. DR. HAMKA as KKS. Based on the level of crisis occurring in society, the theme of Community Empowerment Education by Instilling Islamic Knowledge and Sharia Economics was determined. The KKS program is implemented on Jl. Bunga Rampai VI Gang 1 Rt.017 Rw.09, Malaka Jaya, Kec. Duren Sawit, East Jakarta City Prov. D.K.I. Jakarta. There are main programs and assistance programs in this KKS activity. The main work program consists of the field of educational empowerment and the field of sharia economics. The assistance work program consists of organizing local RT/RW information posts. The implementation of the main work program and assistance received a positive response and there was even active participation from the RT Head, RW Head, children in the Malakasari sub-district so that everything went smoothly and there was even a special request to continue the program from the KKS group.

Abstract

This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study method. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the types of student errors in solving story problems on systems of linear equations in two variables based on the Newman procedure in terms of gender, to analyze and describe the factors that cause students' errors in solving story problems on systems of linear equations. two variables based on the newman procedure in terms of gender. The subjects in this research were 4 (four) students consisting of 2 (two) male students and 2 (two) female students selected from class VIIIE of SMP N 1 Wamena. The technique for selecting research subjects used was purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using written tests and interviews. Testing the validity of the data using time triangulation and data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The research results showed that there were types of errors, namely reading errors, understanding errors, transformation errors, processing skills errors, and final writing errors in all male and female subjects. Errors in writing the final answer were errors made by all research subjects. Factors that cause errors in terms of gender include not understanding the concept of place value, being in a hurry when reading, the subject not understanding the meaning of the question because the question being asked is difficult, not being careful in answering and being in a hurry when doing it, not understanding how to make mathematical models and changing the information obtained into mathematical models, being in a hurry to solve the problem, not being careful in calculations, and because the previous solution process was hasty, forgetting, not understanding the problem, and being careless.
