The good thing about the leadership style at Hotel De Paviljoen is the level of firm decision making. Abstract

Development is very beneficial for human life, but it does not escape losses both material losses and casualties if it is not built properly. One of them is the collapse of the Kutai Kartanegara Bridge which caused people to die and be injured. Building failure is one of the consequences that can endanger public safety and state losses. The failure of this building is explicitly regulated in Law Number 2 of 2017 concerning Construction Services starting from Article 60 to Article 67. In addition, building failure is regulated in Government Regulation Number 29 of 2000 concerning the Implementation of Construction Services, namely in Chapter V Articles 34 to Article 48. Criminal liability under the Construction Services Law can only be imposed on individuals who directly carry out construction work and not on construction service providers in the form of corporations because to fund the corporation requires clarity to whom sanctions will be imposed. Based on the results of the analysis that based on the theory of criminal liability, with the shift of legal subjects from fysieke dader to functionale dader, corporations can be held accountable. This is also supported by theories and doctrines about corporate responsibility. With the birth of Supreme Court Regulation Number 13 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Handling Criminal Cases by Corporations, where this is intended as an effort to provide legal certainty and encourage the effectiveness and optimization of procedural law in handling criminal cases with corporate actors and / or corporate administrators.

Abstract

Advocates are a profession that has an important role in the law enforcement process in society. Advocates are part of the legal structure that cannot be separated from other law enforcement apparatus, such as: police, prosecutors and courts. The profession of an advocate in society is always equated with that of his clients, so that violations committed by clients are always linked to violations committed by an advocate. This can be interpreted causally as: a client's violation is the same as an advocate's violation, even though the actions carried out by the advocate are solely to carry out the client's trust and the mandate of the law. The problem raised in this research is the concept of legal immunity that can be given to advocates in carrying out the duties of the legal profession in Indonesia. The research was carried out in a normative juridical manner based on secondary data as research material so that it focused on theoretical speculative steps, normative analysis and qualitative analysis. Research results Qualification of legal immunity which can free advocates from legal sanctions in assisting clients can be carried out as long as the advocate carries out actions in the context of carrying out professional duties and functions. The good faith possessed by advocates as a basis for protection must be guaranteed in the statutory regulatory system. The binding legal relationship between advocates and clients can be used as a basis for providing legal protection to advocates while carrying out professional duties and functions. The Advocates Law substantively does not provide optimal protection against every form of legal risk that threatens the existence of the advocate profession.

Abstract

Playing a significant part in the Indonesian economy, the oil and gas industry serves as a vital source of state revenue and energy for various sectors, specifically fuel. Consequently, a study has been conducted to scrutinize the impact of crude oil prices on natural gas in Indonesia during the Covid19 pandemic. Using Kilian's (2009) innovative approach of crude oil price decomposition, the explanatory method has been adopted as the research methodology. The study includes four variables for both oil and natural gas market via a structural vector autoregressive model (SVAR). During the Covid-19 pandemic, it was discovered that the natural gas market in Indonesia is influenced by the crude oil market, but not because of changes in oil supply. The analysis showed that changes in demand played a larger role. As a result of the pandemic, the oil market became unpredictable, leading to an increase in natural gas prices as a substitute. Additionally, fluctuations in oil and gas prices were both affected by changes in demand in Indonesia during this time.
