Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of work professionalism and communication on the loyalty of employees working in railway crossing safety operations at the Garut Regency Transportation Service. The study examines variables such as competence, professionalism, communication, and employee loyalty, with professionalism and communication as independent variables and loyalty as the dependent variable. Sedarmayanti's (2017) theory of professionalism, which includes competence, effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability, and Effendy's (2015) communication theory, encompassing attitude change, opinion change, behavioral change, and social change, are applied in this research. Employee loyalty, based on Siswanto’s definition (in Soegandhi et al., 2013), includes obedience to regulations, responsibility to the institution, cooperation, a sense of belonging, interpersonal relationships, and work passion. The study adopts a descriptive explanatory survey method. The population includes 30 employees engaged in railway crossing safety at the Garut Regency Transportation Service, using a saturated sampling technique for data collection. Data were gathered through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Results indicate that work professionalism and communication have a significant effect on employee loyalty, accounting for 58.3% of the variance, while the remaining 41.7% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. The study suggests that improving the professionalism of railway safety employees requires a deeper understanding of their profession to foster emotional stability and stronger interpersonal relationships. Enhanced communication support is also necessary to boost loyalty. Additionally, implementing a morning briefing routine could improve the efficiency and loyalty of railway safety employees at the Garut Regency Transportation Service, ultimately enhancing commitment to the organization.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of demographic factors—age, gender, and occupation—on employees’ perceptions of crisis management and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Using ANOVA analysis, the research evaluates how these factors impact opinions on organizational crises, management performance, communication strategies during crises, and the role of CSR in business operations. The findings indicate that occupation significantly affects perceptions of management crises and CSR initiatives, while age and gender have minimal impact. The study highlights the need for organizations to adopt tailored approaches to crisis management and CSR, considering diverse occupational perspectives. It also emphasizes that strategic crisis response and CSR integration are essential for business resilience and sustainability. Future research could explore the impact of cultural and sectoral differences, as well as the influence of digital transformation and ESG practices. These insights will help organizations enhance their global impact through adaptive crisis management and socially responsible practices.

Abstract

Foreigners' inheritance rights to land in Indonesia is a complex topic and is regulated by strict legal regulations. The method that I will use is the Library Research method. Secondary data such as primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials will be used as the main data source. You can carry out analysis directly on informants using analysis guidelines that have been prepared in advance. The following is a summary of the inheritance rights of foreigners and the implications of Supreme Court Decision Number 105/PK/TUN/2013. Principles of Inheritance According to the Civil Code (KUHPerdata), all heirs, including foreigners, have the same right to receive a share of inheritance without regard to gender or nationality (Article 852 of the Civil Code). Land and Buildings Foreigners have the right to receive inheritance in the form of land and buildings which are the property of the heir who is an Indonesian citizen. However, within one year, foreigners must transfer their rights to Indonesian citizens or change the land status to use rights (Article 21 Paragraph (1) & (3) Law No. 5 of 1960 concerning UUPA). Ownership restrictions only apply to Indonesian citizens who have ownership rights to land in Indonesia. Foreigners are not permitted to legally hold land ownership rights (Article 21 Paragraph (1) UUPA). Consequently, if a foreigner does not relinquish land ownership rights within one year after receiving the inheritance, these rights will be forfeited and the land will become state property (Article 21 Paragraph (3) UUPA). The heirs of foreign citizens have the right to inherit the house from the heirs of Indonesian citizens. However, they must waive it within one year to legally retain those rights. Even though these limits are strict, alternatives such as transferring rights to Indonesian citizens or changing status to use rights are still available to avoid ongoing legal consequences. Thus, Supreme Court Decision Number 105/PK/TUN/2013 emphasizes that although foreign heirs have the right to receive an inheritance, they must transfer their rights or change the status of the land within a short time to avoid losing these rights by law.

Abstract

Tax law enforcement is a critical element in supporting the financial stability of the state and upholding constitutional principles in Indonesia. In an era of rapid digital transformation, challenges such as tax avoidance by multinational entities and high-income individuals have become increasingly complex, requiring innovative and collaborative solutions. This study highlights the strategic role of accountants as key pillars in fostering fiscal transparency, enhancing accountability, and upholding constitutional supremacy as mandated by Article 23A of the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia. Accountants act as guardians of financial reporting integrity, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and detecting and preventing tax manipulation through the application of advanced technologies. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study identifies the significant contributions of accountants in improving tax compliance and reinforcing the implementation of constitutional principles such as justice, transparency, and accountability. The findings suggest that integrating constitutional law knowledge into accounting education, providing training in artificial intelligence-based technologies, and fostering collaboration between accounting associations and government authorities are essential steps to address the challenges faced. This research offers practical recommendations to strengthen the role of accountants in tax law enforcement, creating a more equitable, transparent, and constitutionally aligned taxation system.
