Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the impact of leadership and compensation on employee motivation, as well as their implications on the performance of cooperative employees in Karawang, both individually and collectively. The research employed a descriptive and verificative method, utilizing a survey as the primary tool. The study focused on 330 employees of cooperatives as respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the LISREL 8.80 program, employing the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings of the study indicate that: 1) leadership and compensation have a significant positive effect on motivation, accounting for 52% of the variance (R2 = 0.52). 2) leadership, compensation, and motivation all have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, accounting for 75% of the variance (R2 = 0.75). Among the variables examined, motivation was found to have the most influence on performance, while compensation was identified as the most influential factor on motivation. Based on the research findings, it is recommended that efforts be made to enhance employee performance in cooperatives in the Karawang district through the improvement of employee motivation. This can be achieved by fostering strong relationships between employees and members, co-workers, and management, as well as by increasing compensation levels, which should encompass salary conformity, incentives, food allowance, transportation allowance, and by improving leadership qualities, including supportive behaviors such as providing employment opportunities, favorable working conditions, conflict resolution, and boosting morale.

Abstract

At the present time in Indonesia, businesses that fall into the category of "small" or "medium" might employ a sizable workforce. It is necessary to establish policies and strategies to overcome the obstacles to entry into export markets, such as local regulations and a lack of knowledge about the varying demands of export markets, even if many different types of SME products have the potential to become high-quality exports. Therefore, in order to address this problem, this article presents a literature analysis on Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) for SMEs to improve their green performance. This paper presents a comprehensive assessment as a model for professional development in light of the constraints of the existing HR development procedures in Indonesian MSMEs. This article draws the conclusion that GHRM has an opportunity to encourage green performance in Indonesian SMEs in accordance with the national business objectives of decision makers after analyzing the current practice of GHRM development in Indonesia MSMEs with national and international practices reported in the published literature. Given HRM's potential as a model for effective and sustained HRM professional development, especially in the context of SMEs in Indonesia, due to its empowering qualities in terms of both its content and its structure.

Abstract

Coal is one of the fossil materials used as fuel for power generation. The miningindustry, especially coal in Indonesia, has an important role for the state, especially as a source of state revenue that is able to support the country's economic growth. One of the areas in Indonesia that is a coal-producing area is Laut Island, South Kalimantan. The results of coal mining in the South Kalimantan area are mostly exported abroad. The mode of transportation chosen as a means of transporting coal is a mode of sea transportation that can load large quantities of cargo. Coal loading activities can be carried out if the loading room (ship hatch), cargo (coal) and loading equipment (floating crane) are ready to carry out loading and unloading activities. After the ship docks at the loading point, the captain will send a NOR (Notice of Readiness) to all charter parties indicating that the ship is ready to carry out loading/unloading activities. However, the number of ships that come and will load coal with the amount of loading and unloading equipment available is not comparable. This causes waiting time, so that the implementation of loading coal to large ships is not effective because too much time is wasted. Over time, ship service providers are growing and competing to provide effective, efficient and satisfying services for service users. Both for domestic and foreign service users.
