Abstract

In our increasingly modern world, the digital era brings various kinds of changes in people's behavior in all areas of life. This is no exception in the field of copyright protection, which is part of intellectual property. The task of artist management is to organize or regulate the professional life of celebrities such as actors, artists, singers, models, and other figures in the entertainment industry. Without artist management, artists have difficulty organizing their lives, from managing schedules to negotiating commissions. How does artist management help ensure legal protection, specifically intellectual property protection for responsible artists? And how does Artist Management use evolving technology to innovate and protect the intellectual property rights of the artists they manage and sponsor? The objectives of this study are: 1). To know and research how Innovation in Artist Management can help IPR Protection in today's digital era. 2). To know and research what challenges are faced in Creating and implementing innovations by Artist Management to help IPR Protection in today's digital era. The research method is comparative legal research. In conclusion Flexibility and Adaptability: The entertainment industry is constantly evolving and changing rapidly. Artist managers need to have a flexible attitude and be able to adapt to such changes. Be prepared to adjust your strategy, seek new opportunities, and deal with challenges as they arise. Abstract

Pelestarian musik tradisional Indonesia merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan. Salah satu cara untuk melestarikan musik tradisional adalah dengan melakukan proses archiving. Archiving adalah proses penyimpanan dan pengelolaan data dan informasi. Dalam konteks musik tradisional, archiving dapat dilakukan dengan cara merekam musik tradisional tersebut. Rekaman musik tradisional yang baik dapat menjadi tolak ukur dan bahan lanjutan untuk pembelajaran alat musik tradisional. Hal ini karena rekaman musik tradisional dapat menangkap karakter bunyi, materi bahan instrument, dan cara merekam musik tradisional dalam gelombang audio. Penulisan laporan produksi menjadi tahap awal dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam melestarikan alat musik tradisional. Laporan produksi ini berisi informasi tentang proses rekaman musik tradisional, termasuk peralatan yang digunakan, teknik rekaman yang diterapkan, dan hasil rekaman.

Abstract

2022 is predicted to be the biggest year for the metaverse, as Meta, Apple, Microsoft and Google are all set to release new hardware products and software services that can sustain new developments in the world of technology today and in the future. The next question for the community is what is meant by this Metaverse? What's the definition? What is its relevance and potential now and in the future? What technologies were directly involved in the development of this Metaverse? How is the Metaverse with the Creative Media Industry, especially the animation industry and the game industry? Methods The research is carried out with a qualitative method. The system used is a descriptive exploration system. The data collection method used is a literature study by looking for reference propositions that are applicable to cases or problems. Metaverse will be realized, because the technology needed to create a metaverse is already available, such as capable mobile device processors and game consoles, adequate internet infrastructure, and the existence of VR headsets and cryptocurrencies. And the most important thing, is that people are getting used to living in the online world because of the pandemic. But besides its growth Metaverse has obstacles in its growth? Are consumers or society all interested in the metaverse? Are there any problems with the law and its protection for users?

Abstract

The advent of digital audio workstations and other digital audio tools has brought about a notable change in the audio industry by empowering both amateur and professional audio content creators with the tools necessary to produce high-quality audio content. However, we know very little about the accessibility of audio production tools that are widely used for the visually impaired. Through interviews with 18 audio professionals and the visually impaired hobbyist, we found that accessible audio production involves: putting together accessible and efficient workflows through a combination of key and specialized tools; achieve professional competency through a steep learning curve where domain knowledge and accessibility are inseparable; and facilitating learning and creating access by engaging in an online community of visually impaired audio enthusiasts. We discuss the deep link between accessibility and professional competence and end with design considerations to inform the development of future accessible audio production tools.

Abstract

In film the role of Production Designer is very important because it is responsible for mise-en-scene writing, which includes the design and visuals of the entire film production. Production Designers have the task of designing and creating design drawings for various elements in the film, such as locations, graphics, props, lighting, scenes, makeup, and costumes. This research will investigate the role and contribution of Production Designers in the film industry, especially in the context of visual production design, revealing a number of challenges and critical aspects that may be faced by Production Designers. What are the new technologies used by Production Designers in the visual production design process? How do production designers balance their creative vision with the constraints and realities of production? What awards have Production Designers received for their contributions to the film industry? The research method used to investigate the role and contribution of Production Designers in the film industry, especially in the context of visual production design is qualitative research methods. The role of a Production Designer in filmmaking is very important, because a Production Designer will be responsible for building the mood and look in the artistic order that will be built on the film according to the concept of the film's story including the use of color. In this research, it has been revealed that Production Designers use various technologies and innovations to produce impressive production designs. By continuing to use innovative technology and creativity, Production Designers will continue to be a major force in creating impressive visuals and changing the way we experience and appreciate film.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has changed the face of the animation industry, giving animated characters the ability to act smarter and react to their environment. In this article, we explore how AI can be used in animation to create more realistic, adaptable, and intelligent characters. First, we'll discuss how animated characters use artificial intelligence to understand their surroundings, including object recognition, spatial understanding, and detecting environmental changes. It also describes how animated characters respond to their environment through emotional reactions and adaptive behaviors. Next, we'll examine how to use artificial intelligence features to create animated characters in various situations. This includes developing unique characters, modeling emotional responses, and predicting character movements. We also highlighted the importance of prioritizing environmental sustainability when applying AI technology to animation. Lastly, we highlight the importance of further development of AI technology and interdisciplinary collaboration in animation. It also highlighted the need for education and training in this area and explored the potential of AI in other industries. The research methods used are exploratory and descriptive methods also focusing on the development and exploration of AI concepts and applications in animation.

Abstract

Clear sound is essential in creative industries of music and film to create an immersive experience for audiences and listeners. For the reason, sound engineers must know the proper and effective sound recording techniques and the remarkable outcomes that professionals in the creative sector achieve. Some problems that are often encountered in production studios for quality audio recording and mixing are poor room acoustics, damaged or old studio equipment, limited knowledge and skills, external noise in the form of sound interference from outside the studio, not optimal audio processing, problems with mixing because bad mixing can result in unbalanced audio, instruments that are too dominant or too muffled, or other errors in level, panning, and effect settings. For this reason, the author presents the problems in this study, namely: 1). What is a good studio production technique for high-quality recording and mixing? 2). What equipment and software do studio production techniques produce superior recording and mixing? This research is qualitative research that uses descriptive research methods of analysis. Data were collected by observation, literature study and interviews. The data analysis technique used includes four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations for studio production techniques to produce quality recording and mixing as well as what tools are needed and provide an understanding of how to use audio recording equipment. The conclusion of this study is that in achieving high-quality recording and mixing, recording and mixing techniques are needed in studio production including choosing high-quality equipment, having careful hearing and using known musical references to compare recording and mixing quality, developing skills and intuition through experience, practice, and experimentation with new techniques, Pay attention to good room setup and appropriate acoustics to create an optimal recording environment, ensuring the introduction of low latency in the equipment and computer systems used to avoid interruptions in recording and mixing.

Abstract

While the modern game production cycle has high expectations for artistic and technical solutions, it has little room for iterations and fixes. Artists are taking novel methods to routine activities in order to streamline the production flow and improve the quality of the 3D models. The purpose of this thesis was to document and describe the technological process followed when making high-poly, hard-surface assets for a video game. This study details the modelling pipeline in Autodesk's Fusion 360, as well as the general and hard-surface specific design ideas an artist could employ to produce a realistic weapon model. This thesis demonstrates the development of a concept and a high-poly model of a pistol in accordance with requirements using a practical approach and design theory. The benefits and adaptability of Fusion 360 were discussed, as were the author's personal experiences with the modelling process, tools, and bestpractises. In conclusion, the thesis summarises the outcomes of the modelling and identifies the primary advantages of the Fusion 360 and demonstrates the workflow utilised to generate a highpoly model of a pistol. The author of this study has created the pipeline necessary to effectively tackle a wide range of hard-surface modelling jobs for AAA video games.

Abstract

The music industry is undergoing major changes with the advent of new technologies in the form of music and digital platforms. This research focuses on the role of data analysis in architects' management decisions and analyzes the political and legal issues associated with this phenomenon. In addition, this study also considers the social and cultural impact of music technology, especially in the context of popular applications such as Spotify among Indonesian students. The research method used to investigate the above problems is qualitative research method. The results of this paper show that content customization in broadcast media can affect music preferences and create a certain music culture. In addition, this digital platform is supported with good sound quality and excellent customization features, showing its popularityamong Indonesian students. However, if a song is used without a clear understanding of copyright, legal issues, and the process of applying it can arise. In the context of broadcast media security, the research also addresses the cyber threats facing the broadcast industry, focusing on the need to strengthen security to protect user data and ensure things run smoothly. Some of the security features include data encryption, user account protection, permissions and access control, application security, and protection against DDoS attacks. Research describes government actions and policies to provide security and stability through various digital technologies. It is proposed to expand the definition of commercial space in the context of copyright law to include digital platforms. Analysis of the role of law is carried out to bridge the gap between technological developments and the current legal framework.

Abstract

With the entry of new business models such as crowdfunding in the digital age, the film industry has undergone a major transformation. Independent films can get funding directly from their potential audiences because Hollywood's traditional business model has spread to variouscountries around the world, and with the advent of new equipment and distribution platforms, film production has become cheaper. Independent filmmakers have the opportunity to interact directly with their audience through crowdfunding, which allows for filmmaking with diverse viewpoints and narratives. However, there are issues such as attracting and retaining the interest of backers as well as the possible risk of return on investment for backers. With data analysis methods and case studies This research investigates the evolution of film business models, the influence of crowdfunding on diversity of content and viewpoints, interactions between filmmakers and audiences, and changes in interactions between filmmakers and audiences.
