Abstract

Humans are inherently social beings who seek interaction with others. One way to establish connections is through self-disclosure, which involves revealing personal information to others. Social media platforms like Instagram have become popular spaces for building relationships and enhancing interpersonal communication. This study aims to explore the self-disclosure tendencies of early adult Instagram users with secondary accounts, focusing primarily on students. This research employs quantitative methods to provide a systematic, factual, and accurate description of the phenomenon. Findings indicate that self-disclosure patterns among student respondents are generally consistent and relatively high. The study offers deeper insights into how individuals reveal themselves in interpersonal settings, showing a tendency to share positive information, maintain honesty, and be accurate in their disclosures. Additionally, the results highlight the importance of considering gender differences in self-disclosure research, as women tend to be more open in sharing than men.

Abstract

Human development is a complex aspect. Human development has 4 domains, namely physical development, intellectual development, social and emotional development. Social and emotional development in children is indeed a different aspect but cannot be separated. The point is that if we discuss the social aspects of children, it must intersect with the emotional aspects of children. And vice versa, if we study children's emotions, then we must also discuss the social aspects of students. Social development is an increase in a person's ability to interact with others while emotional development is a person's ability to control the emotions that are being experienced by using verbal or nonverbal messages so that they can be known by others. This article discusses the socio-emotional development of children using the literature review method. The researcher found 59 articles from one database, of which 12 were finally obtained

The RASCH model analysis has the advantage of creating evenly spaced measurement scales to provide accurate information about participants and the quality of the items producedThe results of the analysis show that items from the Emotional Intelligence instrument are well received by college students with Cronbach alphas values that include special categories. This is because it represents the interaction between the respondent and the instrument item. Person reliability score results are included in a special category as a measure of the consistency of responses of respondents.  Item Reliability score are included in a special category as an indicator of the quality of the item items in the instrument.

Abstract

Spousal abuse in marriages represents a significant problem that leads to considerable psychological distress for working-class women in Nigeria. This research examines the connections between psychological factors and spousal abuse in working-class women residing in the Lagos metropolis. The research employed quantitative analysis to evaluate the effects of depression and low self-esteem on spousal abuse. The analysis indicates a significant positive correlation between depression and spousal abuse (r = .739; p 0.05), which indicates that higher levels of depression are closely linked to a rise in incidents of spousal abuse. The study reveals a noteworthy positive correlation between low self-esteem and spousal abuse (r = .677; p 0.05), indicating that lower self-worth plays a significant role in the occurrence of spousal abuse. The findings underscore the significant influence of psychological factors in the dynamics of spousal abuse, recommending the necessity for focused interventions aimed at addressing depression and self-esteem challenges to reduce abuse among working-class women in the Lagos metropolis.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning needs to be instilled in elementary school-age children because it can help students discover new experiences by seeking information and actively learning independently. Students who organize themselves are theoretically more aware of the task's demands, can accurately predict whether they can meet these demands, are more efficient at learning, relate results to aspects of learning under their control, and have a list of the learning strategies they use appropriately. In a variety of learning situations. The growing interest in research on self-regulated learning has led to self-regulated learning measures, especially in elementary schools, which researchers rarely do. The method in this study uses systematic literature review by identifying instruments that measure self-regulated learning. Steps are taken through several stages of identifying and filtering articles with predetermined criteria. The results of thisstudy will obtain an overview of the distribution of instruments used in elementary schools as a consideration in measuring the self-regulated learning of elementary school students effectively.
