Abstract

ABSTRACKChildren with autism not only have communication and social difficulties but also show poor balance and motor control abilities that can affect daily activities, besides that, postural instability is closely related to balance disorders. Effective balance and motor control will depend on somatosensory, visual and vestibular input. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a one group pre-post test approach. Sampling by purposive sampling with a sample of 10 respondents. Obstacle course training was given for 12 interventions for 2 weeks. The dynamic balance results before and after giving Obstacle course Exercise were 16.94 seconds and 13.64 seconds. The effect test results obtained p = 0.005 <α (0.05). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Obstacle course Exercise has an effect on increasing the dynamic balance of children with autism.Keywords: Obstacle course Exercise, dynamic balance, autism

Abstract

Latar Belakang: mahasiswa cenderung dituntut untuk mengikuti mata kuliah dengan duduk di kelas dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Duduk dalam waktu yang lama secara berulang tanpa diimbangi olahraga rutin dapat mengakibatkan menurunnya ekstensibilitas otot khususnya hamstring. Untuk meningkatkan ekstensibilitas hamstring dapat menggunakan instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Instrumen ini menghasilkan tekanan mekanik yang dapat merusak jaringan parut dan mengurangi perlengketan pada fascia sehingga ekstensibilitas otot dapat meningkat. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian myofascial release menggunakan IASTM terhadap peningkatan ekstensibilitas hamstring pada mahasiswa. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan one group with control dimana sebanyak 20 subjek dibagi menjadi kelompok perlakuan yang diberi myofascial release menggunakan IASTM terdiri dari 11 orang dan kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 9 orang. Penelitian dilakukana pada bulan September 2023. Ekstensibilitas hamstring diukur menggunakan goniometer dengan cara active knee extension test (AKE) dan diukur sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil: berdasarkan hasil uji statistik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelompok perlakuan didapat hasil p = 0,016 (p<0,05) yang berarti ada beda pengaruh. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol didapat hasil p = 0,564 (p>0,05) yang bearti tidak ada beda. Uji beda sesudah perlakuan dilakukan pada kedua kelompok dengan hasil p = 0,012 (p<0,05) yang berarti ada beda. Kesimpulan: myofascial release menggunakan IASTM berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan ekstensibilitas hamstring.Kata kunci: Myofascial release, IASTM, ekstensibilitas hamstring

Abstract

ABSTRACT Frozen shoulder is the possibility of inflammation, pain, adhesion, atrophy, and capsule shortening. The attacks are generally unilateral, more in women than men and more often in the age of 40-60 years. This type of research is Quasi Experiments with the One Group Pretest and Postest Design research. The independent research variable is the glenohumeral joint and pendular translation exercise while the dependent variable is the analysis of motion of the joint on the frozen shoulder. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of this study winning 10 respondents. The results of this study prove the fact-average about joint movements before and after the change intervention. The statistical analysis of this study using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained different results of flexion motion before and completed intervention 21.1 and p = 0.0001 (p <0.05), extensions with an average difference of 9.8 and p = 0,0001 (p <0.05). The mean with an average of 19.5 and p = 0,0001 (p <0.05), the acceleration with different means is 19.5 and p = 0.0001 (0.05), the addition with the average difference average 2.82 and p = 0.005 (p <0.05), endorotation with a difference in mean of 2.913 and p = 0.004 (p <0.05), exaggeration with an average difference of 2.842 and p = 0.004 (p <0 , 05).Can help improve joint glenohumeral hearing and pendulum codman exercises effective in increasing the motion distribution of glenohumeral joints in patients with frozen shoulder. Keywords : Frozen Shoulder, Range Of Motion , Glenohumeralis Translation Joint, Codman Pendulum Exercise. ABSTRAKFrozen shoulder adalah terjadinya peradangan, nyeri, perlengketan, atropi dan pemendekan kapsul sendi sehingga terjadi keterbatasan sendi bahu. Serangan umumnya bersifat unilateral, lebih banyak pada wanita dibandingkan laki–laki dan lebih sering terjadi pada usia 40–60 tahun.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest and Postest Desain. Variabel independent penelitian ini adalah translasi glenohumeralis joint dan pendular codman exercise sedangkan variabel dependentnya adalah lingkup gerak sendi pada frozen shoulder. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 10 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata lingkup gerak sendi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi mengalami perubahan. Analisis statistic penelitian ini menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yang didapat hasil beda rata-rata gerak fleksi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi 21,1 dan p= 0,0001(p<0,05), ekstensi dengan beda rata-rata 9,8 dan p=0,0001(p<0,05). Abduksi dengan beda rata-rata 19,5 dan p= 0,0001(p<0,05), Abduksi dengan beda rata-rata 19,5 dan p=0,0001(0,05), adduksi dengan beda rata-rata 2,82 dan p= 0,005(p<0,05), endorotasi dengan beda rata-rata 2,913 dan p= 0,004(p<0,05), eksorotasi dengan beda rata-rata 2,842 dan p= 0,004(p<0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa  pemberian translasi glenohumeralis joint dan pendulum codman exercise efektif terhadap peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi glenohumeralis pada penderita frozen shoulder.Kata Kunci :Frozen Shoulder, Lingkup Gerak Sendi, Translasi Glenohumeralis Joint, Pendulum Codman Exercise.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Lansia adaIah sekeIompok orang yang mengaIami suatu proses perubahan secara bertahap daIam jangka waktu tertentu. Pada lansia akan terjadi penurunan fungsi kognitif dan aktivitas fisik yang akan berdampak pada resiko jatuh pada lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan fungsi kognitif dan aktivitas fisik dengan resiko jatuh pada lansia di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh Bukittinggi. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif koreIatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode accidental samping. PeneIitian diIaksanakan pada buIan Agustus-September 2021, dengan jumlah populasi lansia sebanyak 1.997 orang usia 60-70 tahundi wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tigo Baleh bukitttinggi. Hasil penelitian Lebih dari sebagian (61,7%) responden adalah lansia dengan resiko jatuh termasuk kategori ringan, Lebih dari sebagian (75%) responden adalah lansia dengan fungsi kognitif termasuk kategori baik, Lebih dari sebagian (66,7%) responden adalah lansia dengan aktivitas fisik termasuk kategori baik, Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara fungsi kognitif dengan resiko jatuh pada lansia, secara statistik didapatkan nilai p = 0,004 dan OR = 7,56, Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dengan resiko jatuh pada lansia, secara statistik didapatkan nilai p = 0,006 dan OR = 5,57. Disimpulkan terdapat hubungan fungsi kognitif dan aktivitas fisik dengan resiko jatuh pada lansia di wilayah kerja puskesmas Tigo Baleh Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a condition where a woman is pregnant and lasts for about 40 weeks. When women enter the second and third trimesters, they will experience enlarged stomachs and changes in body structure which cause certain complaints. One of the most common complaints experienced by pregnant women is back pain. One way to deal with lower back pain is to do Pilates. Pilates is a recovery method that aims to improve the coordination and balance of the muscles in the body, focusing on the pelvic and abdominal muscles. This research seeks to investigate how pilates exercises impact the reduction of lower back pain in pregnant women during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. This study used an experimental design with measurements before and after treatment for 3 weeks, with an intervention frequency of 2 times a week. The total sample involved was 22 pregnant women who experienced lower back pain. Pain was measured using a visual analogue scale, before and after the intervention. The data obtained were analyzed by statistical tests using the Shapiro-Wilk Test, and then the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings indicated that the data did not follow a normal distribution, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test revealed a p=0.000, signifying a beneficial impact of pilates exercise in alleviating lower back pain among pregnant women during their second and third trimesters before and after the interventionKeywords: Pregnancy, Lower Back Pain, Pilates Exercise.

Abstract

Abstract : Dynamic balance is the ability of people to move from one point or space to another by maintaining balance. Balance is a complex interaction of sensory systems (vestibular, visual, and somatosensory including propioceptors) and musculoskeletal (muscles, joints and other soft tissues) that are modified or regulated in the brain in response to changes in external and internal conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine The Effect of Gaze Stability Exercise and Thai Chi Gymnastics on Elderly Women on Increasing Dynamic Balance at JorongSimpang AA in 2020. It was Quasi-experimental design by using two groups pre and posttest design. The population was 20 respondents in 2020. By using purposive sampling technique, 10 samples were obtained. The data was collected by measuring before and after the intervention. The data was analyzed by computerization by using the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the average dynamic balance of elderly women after giving Thai Chi Gymnastics was 30.6 and the average dynamic balance of elderly women after giving Gaze Stability Exercise and Thai Chi Gymnastics was 33.4. The results of statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences for the two groups with P value of 0.005 after 10 interventions. It can be concluded that giving Gaze Stability Exercise and Thai Gymnastics has an effect on increasing dynamic balance in elderly women in Jorong Simpang AA with an age range of 60-74 years.  ABSTRAK : Keseimbangan dinamis adalah kemampuan orang untuk bergerak dari satu titik atau ruang ke lain titik dengan mempertahankan keseimbangan. Keseimbangan merupakan interaksi yang kompleks dan integrasi atau interaksi sistem sensorik dan muskuloskeletal (otot, sendi dan jaringan lunak lain) yang dimodifikasi atau di atur dalam otak sebagai respon terhadap perubahan kondisi ekternal dan internal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Gaze Stability Exercise dan senam Thai Chi pada lansia perempuan terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi-eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pre dan post test design. Pengambilan sempel pada penelitian menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan sempel sebanyak 10 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan cara perlakuan yang di ukur sebelum dan sesudah pemberian intervensi. Pengolahan data hasil penelitian dilakukan secara komputerasi menggunakan uji Mann Whitney.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rata-rata keseimbangan dinamis lansia perempuan setelah pemberian Gaze Stability Exercise Dan Senam Thai Chi adalah 33,4. Hasil analisis statistic menujukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan dengan Hasil P Value sebesar 0,005. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian Gaze Stability Exercise Dan Senam Thai berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis pada lansia perempuan di Jorong Simpang AA dengan rentang usia 60-74 tahun.Kata Kunci  : Keseimbangan Dinamis, Gaze Stability Exercise, Senam Thai Chi

Abstract

The health status of the elderly which declines with age will affect the quality of life of the elderly. Increasing age will be accompanied by the emergence of various diseases, decreased body function, body balance and the risk of falling. Research objectives: To analyze whether there is an effect of giving Square Stepping Exercise and Ankle Strategy Exercise to changes in the level of dynamic balance of the elderly. Research method: The design of this study is Quasi Experimental using "one group pretest posttest" which aims to determine the effect of Ankle strategy and Square Stepping Exercise in improving the dynamic balance of the elderly. Respondents given treatment in this study were Square Stepping Exercise and Ankle Strategy Exercise. Results: processed using SPSS with the normality test of the Shapiro Wilk test to determine the distribution of the data. Next, hypothesis testing was carried out. The subjects were women with 20 people with a percentage of 66.7% and 10 men with a percentage of 33.3%. initial treatment by getting a mean value of 65.70. the final condition of the subject obtained a mean value of 13.27. probability p0.05 was normal and statistical analysis was used parametric. the shapiro-wilk test results from the pre test, namely p0.117 and post-test p0.386. Conclusion: Paired Sample T-test The result is p0.001. Based on the research conducted, it is concluded that the exercise strategy and square stepping can improve balance in the elderly.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPower is a movement ability that is very important to support activities in every branch of sport. This power or explosive ability will determine good movement results. Power concerns the strength and speed of dynamic and explosive muscle contractions and involves the maximum expenditure of muscle strength in the shortest possible time. This study aims to determine the effect of push up and pull up exercises on increasing arm muscle power in volleyball players. This type of research is quantitative which uses a quasi-experimental research design. The sample collection technique uses the purposive sampling method. This type of research is a quasi experimental one group pre-post test design, this research was carried out 12 times with 1 rest per exercise for 10 samples. Increased arm muscle power is measured by performing a Service Test. The research results from giving push up and pull up exercises showed that the average arm muscle power before the intervention was 15.30 and after the intervention it increased to 19.90. The P value <a= (0.000) means that there is an influence on increasing arm muscle power. From the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence before and after giving push up and pull up exercises on increasing arm muscle power in volleyball players.References: 27 (2011-2023)Keywords: Power, Push Up, Pull Up

Abstract

Elderly sleep quality disorders can be overcome by doing low impact exercises. Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga are types of low impact exercises with a series of smooth and slow movements that are suitable for the elderly. The purpose of knowing the effect of Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga on sleep quality in the elderly in Banjar Dakdakan, Peguyangan Village, North Denpasar District. The two group pre-test and post-test design method was carried out in April-May 2023 with a sample of 20 respondents in Banjar Dakdakan who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was divided into two groups, namely 10 respondents in the Tai Chi Gymnastics group (Group 1) and 10 respondents in the Hatha Yoga gymnastics group (Group 2). Measurement instruments to assess sleep quality using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. Data analysis with the Wilcoxon test to determine the effect of Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga exercises on sleep quality in the elderly. The results showed a value of p = 0.05 (p < 0.05) which indicates that there is a difference between group 1 and group 2 on improving sleep quality in the elderly. Keywords: elderly, sleep quality, tai_chi, hatha_yoga, PSQI ABSTRAKGangguan kualitas tidur lansia dapat diatasi dengan cara melakukan senam yang bersifat low impact. Tai Chi dan Hatha Yoga adalah jenis senam low impact dengan rangkaian gerakan yang halus dan lambat sehingga cocok dilakukan oleh lanjut usia. Tujuan mengetahui pengaruh  Tai Chi dan Senam Hatha Yoga terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia di Banjar Dakdakan, Desa Peguyangan, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Metode two group pre-test and post-test design yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei tahun 2023 dengan sampel sebanyak 20 responden di Banjar Dakdakan yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu 10 responden kelompok Senam Tai Chi (Kelompok 1) dan 10 responden kelompok senam Hatha Yoga (Kelompok 2). Instrumen pengukuran untuk menilai kualitas tidur menggunakan kuisioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Analisis data dengan uji wilcoxon test untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam Tai Chi dan Senam Hatha Yoga kualitas tidur pada lansia. Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Disfungsi otot dasar panggul merupakan masalah kesehatan wanita, yang dapat menimbulkan berbagai gejala yang akan mengganggu kualitas hidup seperti inkontinensia urine/faecal, prolaps organ panggul dan disfungsiseksual yang disebabkan karena perubahan anatomis otot dasar panggul pada kehamilan dan persalinan, namun juga disebabkan trauma yang terjadi selama proses persalinan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui penatalaksanaan fisioterapi dalam meningkatkan kekuatan otot dasar panggul dengan menggunakan metode pilates exercise dan pelvic floor muscle training. Metode : penelitian menggunakan metode case study. Pada seorang pasien Ny. N, umur 30 tahun, berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Studi kasus ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2019 di Jambi. Pemeriksaan kekuatan otot dasar panggul berdasarkan pengontrolan berkemih, kriteria yang digunakan dengan metode Modified Oxford Scale (MOS). Intervensi dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali dalam 6 hari. Hasil: Setelah dilakukan terapi sebanyak lima kali didapatkan hasil adanya peningkatan kekuatan otot dasar panggul dari T1 2 menjadi T6 4. Kesimpulan : Pilates exercise dan pelvic floor muscle training dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot dasar panggul. Kata kunci :Disfungsi otot dasar panggul, pilates exercise, dan pelvic floor muscle training
