Abstract

The community service program, especially for students at the Tahfizul Qur'an Istiqomah Islamic High School in Sambas, Purbalingga, aims to empower students by improving their competence and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. This community service team consists of the academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Al-Irsyad University Cilacap. Empowering santri with entrepreneurial acumen not only changes their future, but also the vitality of their community. Interactive workshops, mentoring programs, and real-world business projects equip them with critical thinking skills, creativity, and a resilient mindset. This blend of spiritual learning and practical business skills fosters well-rounded individuals who are ready to navigate and contribute to the modern economic landscape. This initiative not only teaches them how to start a business, but also fosters confidence. This approach echoes the transformative impact seen when the education system integrates practical skills—such as how the incorporation of technology in the classroom has changed the learning experience globally. Expanding such entrepreneurship programs can unlock untapped potential in other educational institutions, empowering more generations of young people to become catalysts for change in their own communities. Evaluation results show significant improvements in critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. The program encourages students to think creatively and develop innovative solutions and business ideas. Students are better prepared to contribute to the economic development of their community, either by starting their own business or contributing to an existing business.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the understanding and skills of MSMEs in the Barlingmaskaceb area in implementing digital marketing strategies. Digitalization in marketing is an urgent need for MSMEs to be able to compete in the increasingly competitive era of industry 4.0. This program includes training and mentoring that focuses on the use of social media, marketplaces, and marketing data analysis to increase the effectiveness of business strategies. Through counseling methods, workshops, and direct mentoring, participants gain insight and practical skills in optimizing their digital marketing. The results of the program show that participants experienced an increase in understanding in managing digital marketing content more effectively and strategically. More consistent use of social media, optimization of marketplace features, and the use of analytical data in evaluating marketing performance have helped MSMEs increase market reach and customer loyalty. In addition, collaboration between MSMEs in joint marketing strategies has also proven to be able to strengthen their competitiveness in the digital market. Continuous mentoring and the formation of a digital MSME community are key factors in ensuring the sustainability of the impact of this program. As a recommendation, there needs to be further support from the government and related institutions to provide access to advanced training, digital infrastructure, and policies that support the digital transformation of MSMEs. The sustainability of this program can also be strengthened through regular monitoring of the development of MSMEs after training to ensure effective and adaptive strategy implementation. With a sustainable approach, this program is expected to become a model that can be applied in other regions to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs more broadly.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase awareness and implementation of green marketing for MSMEs in Cirebon City in supporting sustainable development. Training and mentoring are conducted to provide an understanding of the concept of green marketing and its implementation strategies in business. The results of the activity show that participants experienced increased insight into the benefits of green marketing, both in terms of the environment and business competitiveness. Several MSMEs have begun to implement green marketing strategies by using environmentally friendly raw materials, biodegradable packaging, and sustainability-based communication. The main challenges faced include higher production costs, limited access to green raw materials, and low consumer awareness. Continuous mentoring and support from the government and academics are needed so that the implementation of green marketing can be more effective. Digital marketing is one of the strategies proposed to expand the market for green products more efficiently. This program has a positive impact on building a sustainable business ecosystem for MSMEs in Cirebon City. Further evaluation is still needed to measure the long-term impact of the implementation of this green marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of the UMKM Seblak Prasmanan Babeh through the implementation of a digital marketing strategy. Before the strategy implementation, this UMKM had minimal digital presence. The methods used included setting up Google Maps, creating an Instagram account, registering on GoFood, content creation tutorials, and content calendar planning. After implementing the strategy, the results showed a significant increase in business visibility. Listing the location on Google Maps resulted in more than 50 searches within the first week. The Instagram account @SeblakPrasmanan_Babeh demonstrated an increase in engagement and growth potential, although the number of followers was still low at the initial stage. The UMKM owner successfully uploaded three new promotional content pieces that captured customer attention. Overall, the initial results indicate that the digital marketing strategy has positively impacted the visibility of the UMKM. For optimal results, it is recommended that this strategy be further developed through consistent content calendar planning, optimization of other digital platforms, and regular evaluation in line with market dynamics.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the competitiveness of strawberry farmers in Purbalingga through the implementation of digital marketing strategies. The main problems faced by farmers are dependence on conventional marketing, low digital literacy, and limited access to wider markets. This activity is carried out through intensive training and mentoring related to the use of social media, marketplaces, product branding, and digital-based business management. The results of the community service show a significant increase in farmers' skills in utilizing digital technology for marketing. Several farmers have started to actively use platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and marketplaces to sell their products, which has an impact on increasing market reach and sales. In addition, innovation in packaging and product diversification has also encouraged an increase in the added value of strawberries. However, this program has limitations, such as differences in digital literacy levels and limited technological infrastructure. Therefore, further mentoring and support from the government and related institutions are needed to ensure the sustainability of digital transformation in agribusiness. With this program, it is hoped that strawberry farmers in Purbalingga can be more independent in managing their businesses and improve their welfare through more innovative and effective marketing.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media creates enormous volumes of text data, requiring sentiment analysis tools that are easily accessible to the public. The purpose of this community service is to develop the DataCraft application as a free web platform for social media sentiment analysis using machine learning algorithms. The implementation method includes a 1-month data collection phase and 1.5 months application development using Python Flask, Naive Bayes, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) technologies. The application is equipped with data exploration, automatic preprocessing, modeling, and result visualization features. Test results show Naive Bayes accuracy reaches 77.25% with a user-friendly interface. The application successfully provides free access to students, researchers, and practitioners to perform sentiment analysis without requiring high programming skills. The impact of community service shows an increase in digital literacy capabilities of the community in analyzing public opinion on social media. DataCraft is available open-source on GitHub with complete tutorials to facilitate wider adoption.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve taxpayer compliance through a tax volunteer program. Tax volunteers are individuals who voluntarily contribute their time to assist in tax reporting and processing activities. Therefore, in order to serve taxpayers well, they are equipped with knowledge in the form of communication, tax volunteer ethics, e SPT OP, and e-filling. The method of implementing service activities is training and mentoring tax volunteers. The results of the activity show that there are 15 tax volunteer teams who assist the annual income tax return reporting assistance program. Each volunteer is able to serve an average of 5 - 10 taxpayers per day, so that a total of around 90 - 150 taxpayers were successfully served by the tax volunteer team during one month. A total of 1,213 annual income tax returns for individual taxpayers were successfully reported by the team of tax volunteers from students, during the one-month mentoring program at KPP Pratama Purbalingga. This tax volunteer program provides experience for students in increasing their experience as a key to entering the increasingly competitive world of work.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve vocational school students' digital marketing knowledge and skills at SMK YPE Kroya in Cilacap Regency. Training and mentoring were conducted to provide an understanding of digital marketing and its application strategies in business. The activity results showed that participants gained a better understanding of the benefits of digital marketing, both in terms of the environment and business competitiveness. Continuous mentoring and support from the government and academia are necessary to make skill development for vocational high school students more effective. Digital marketing is one of the strategies proposed to improve the performance of SMEs. This program positively prepares the younger generation to become millennial entrepreneurs capable of building a sustainable business ecosystem for SMEs in Cilacap Regency. Further evaluation is still needed to measure the long-term impact of this knowledge and digital marketing skills enhancement activity.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve digital literacy and optimize the use of computers in administrative services in Klayan Village, Cirebon City. The implementation of the activity was carried out from March to April 2025 through a participatory approach, direct training, and field assistance. Training materials include the use of basic computers, Microsoft Office, and an introduction to digital-based village information systems. The evaluation of the activity showed a significant increase in participant skills, with post-test scores higher than pre-tests. In addition, changes in work behavior and increased administrative efficiency are reflected in the use of computers in daily work. One of the program's sustainability strategies is the formation of the Village Digital Working Group (KKDD) which functions as a local digital literacy agent. The output of the activity in the form of training modules, operational guides, and activity documentation have been submitted to village partners. This activity proves the effectiveness of academic interventions in increasing village technological capacity and strengthening administrative governance. The results of this service also show the importance of collaboration between academics and the community in bridging the digital divide. This model can be replicated in other villages with similar challenges.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve digital literacy and marketing skills of MSME actors in Sukamulya Village, Cianjur Regency, through social media-based digital marketing training. This activity was carried out from January to February 2025, with interactive training methods, direct practice, and intensive mentoring. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills in creating promotional content, managing social media accounts, and utilizing marketplace platforms. The formation of a digital MSME community and increased online transactions are indicators of the success of this program. The village government expressed support for the continuation of the program and is committed to providing village fund allocations. The conclusion of this activity shows that digital marketing training contributes to local economic transformation, increasing the competitiveness of small businesses, and establishing a digital business ecosystem at the village level. This activity can be replicated in other villages with a local needs-based approach, multi-sector collaboration, and adequate infrastructure support.
