SHINE: is a journal of Guidance and Counseling aims to help researchers and practitioners in improving a good reputation for reference from the various authors and cases around Indonesia In the development of science which figuring out the results of research, case studies, and library review to develop in terms of counseling and psychology guidance widely. It also beneficial to be a reference for the development of education, curriculum and the development of human resources (SDM), SHINE: a Journal of Guidance and Counseling to receive and publish articles based on both qualitative and quantitative research (scientific article). All articles published in Indonesia (abstract English) The scope of SHINE: The Journal of Guidance and Counseling focuses on the materials of research such us in terms of science, practice/skills, philosophy, and social. The psychology also being a part of this scope containing the various topics as the following: The Research of pedagogical competence. The research of personality competence The Research of Social Competence The research of professional competence. Research on the development of education. The experimental, quantitative, qualitative, classroom activities, and library research. SHINE Journal: The Journal Guidance and Counseling are only written by Indonesian authors as the following criteria: (1) The publisher of the journal comes from Indonesia (2) The article needs to be associated with the conditions in Indonesia or the country that has the same condition which is expected to have implications and contributions to address the problems of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the application of systematic desensitization techniques to reduce anxiety in facing school final exams in 9th grade students, in this study the aim is that students can control the anxiety that exists within themselves and can find things that they feel comfortable with. , in this study using qualitative research methods using the type of guidance and counseling action research. The subjects in this study were 5 9th grade students of MTsN 10 Nganjuk, from this research resulted in the application of an effective systematic dissertation technique used to reduce anxiety in facing school final exams in 9th grade students of MTsN 10 Nganjuk.

Abstract

Many people believe that a person's life success is determined by intelligence. Actually, the success of a person's life is influenced by one of the factors, namely emotional intelligence. The role of group counseling services is a good help by giving students awareness about a variety of good or healthy behaviors and bad or problematic behaviors. In this review literature study, the researcher chooses the role of group guidance and counseling services using role-playing techniques in enhancing emotional intelligence. From playing the role of students able to recognize their emotions, process their emotions, and be able to establish good relationships with others with the help of counseling teachers in the school in helping the counseling process. Therefore, this literature study research aims to review the role of group counseling services using role-playing techniques in enhancing emotional intelligence. The literature study results showed that the role of group guidance and counseling services using this role-playing technique greatly affects the improvement of emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative research type with library research which seeks to describe the role of group guidance on information technology-based discussion techniques in increasing students' learning motivation. In this literature study the author uses various written sources such as articles, journals and documents relevant to the study in this research. This study focuses on the problems of students that occur in the era of the covid-19 pandemic, one of which is the decline in the level of learning motivation. In this case, guidance and counseling services have an important role to help students increase learning motivation so that students can have good self-actualization and optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the role of information technology-based group guidance services to increase student learning motivation through various articles, journals and documents relevant to the study in this study. Group guidance with information technology-based group discussion techniques is able to increase learning motivation, this is because in group guidance there is group dynamics that can increase student learning motivation. Through group guidance activities, all group members conduct discussions, give and receive information, develop communication and interpersonal skills, give each other advice, convey and understand feelings to each other, motivate each other so that group members' learning motivation increases. The implementation of information technology-based group guidance is one of the effective approaches to increase student learning motivation due to the pandemic that does not allow the implementation of face-to-face guidance and counseling activities. Abstract

The career process that has been chosen by the individual appropriately is achieved through a good planning process and independent decision making with careful consideration based on an understanding of abilities and interests as well as an introduction to careers that exist in society as a meaningful self-realization. The problem in career decision making can be categorized as an indecision career choice, so that the individual's inability to choose, or make himself to take a certain form of action that will be realized in preparing for and entering a particular job. This research is a type of literature review research by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the cases or problems found. The results of this study stated that based on the facts in the field, it was found that there were students who had difficulty in making ideal decisions. This condition is influenced by several factors including personality, self-esteem, social support, and career readiness.

Abstract

Parenting style is one of the best ways parents can take in educating children as an embodiment of a sense of responsibility to children. This attitude is refelected in certain paenting patterns. Social status is an extreme factor in the subject of learning., has an important role in the development of children in the family. . Learning motivation must be instilled in children early on. Someone who has strong motivation will have a lot energy in learning. In this study using quantitative engineering reseacrh with correlational types which uses findings regarding data obtained in the field is processed using SPSS version 16.0 for windows. Abstract

Students have important roles in realizing the ideals of national development, meanwhile universities are educational institutions that are formally assigned the task and responsibility of preparing students in accordance with the goals of higher educators. The purpose of this research is to find out the extent to which students who study while working delay while completing their thesis. And also to know the negative impact of procrastination essay. The research conducted by this author is a qualitative descriptive study. In the process of collecting data, the author uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, for data analysis, the author uses qualitative descriptive, namely data in the form of writing or writing from the informants or respondents being studied in order to fully describe the phenomena in the field. Abstract

Abstract Islamic guidance and counseling is a process of guidance or assistance in which all processes are based on the teachings of the Islamic religion. In carrying out guidance, various media can be used to support guidance activities. One of the media that can be used in the guidance process is posters. Poster is a publication media consisting of writing, images or a combination of both. Posters aim to convey a certain purpose or information to the general public. The criteria for a good poster to be used in guidance are: concise slogans, clear writing, varied motifs and designs, simple, effective, presents one idea, and is colorful.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reach the truth of the research data from the title Use of poster media to help students plan their careers. The method used is descriptive qualitative method sourced from secondary data in the form of literature studies. In this study, the use of website-based poster media to support a counseling guidance teacher helps provide information services to students regarding career choices after graduating from high school. In addition, technological developments can also help students improve career planning and maturity, if used properly. Media itself is one of the learning media that can be a source of learning in instructional activities. One of the media that can be used by the counsellor's guidance teacher for giving lessons is a website-based poster media. The selection of poster media as a career guidance service media here is one of the reasons because posters can attract readers by producing interesting pictures and writings.

Abstract

Hasil tentang penelitian ini peneliti perlu adanya memahami permasalahan tentang penyesuaian diri di sekolah tersebut. Dalam melakukan penelitian disini peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian yaitu metode Kualitatif. Adapun data yang sudah terkumpulkan bahwa jumlah sampel yang dibutuhkan adalah 15 siswa. Dari sampel itu terdapat siswa yang belum bisa menyesuaikan diri. Untuk itu peneliti dalam dapat menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung. Kita sebagai peneliti dalam mengetahui masalah ini harus melakukan kerja sama dengan Guru Bk untuk melakukan tindak lanjut adanya permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa agar siswa dapat berkembang dengan optimal

Abstract

Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial pada proses pembelajaran berada dalam pengawasan dan pengarahan dari guru. Apabila sudah di luar jam sekolah, siswa mengalami kesusahan atau siswa menemui kesulitan maka mereka bisa dengan langsung melakukan komunikasi melalui media sosial untuk bertanya atau berdiskusi dengan teman atau dengan gurunya di grub kelas. Pemanfaatan media sosial juga memberikan pengaruh positif pada prestasi belajar siswa. Indikasinya tampak dari kondisi siswa yang menjadi lebih bersemangat dalam belajar karena siswa banyak yang minat dengan media sosial. Dengan cara itu, guru tengah melakukan edukasi kepada siswa untuk menggunakan sosial media secara baik dan bijak. Inilah salah satu bentuk sosialisasi literasi media sosial yang dilakukan guru untuk siswa.
