Abstract

This study explores the relationship between compensation and job satisfaction from an Industrial Psychology perspective using a literature review method. Secondary data were drawn from scientific articles, academic papers, and research reports published between 2020 and 2025 in national and international journals. The analysis applied content analysis by identifying key variables, grouping findings, comparing results across sectors and regions, and synthesizing them based on the Equity Theory, Expectancy Theory, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, and Social Exchange Theory. The review of seven studies shows that both financial compensation (salary, allowances, bonuses, incentives) and non-financial compensation (recognition, promotion opportunities, facilities) generally have a positive effect on job satisfaction. The extent of this effect varies according to contextual factors such as work environment, organizational culture, career development, and labor policies. Effective compensation policies should balance financial and non-financial rewards while aligning with employee expectations and organizational conditions. The study is limited by its reliance on secondary data and a restricted publication period.

Abstract

Job stress is a critical issue in human resource management within the public sector as it directly affects employee performance and organizational effectiveness. This study aims to examine the influence of work life balance and workload on job stress among civil servants at the Directorate of Procurement and Rank, National Civil Service Agency. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, where data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire distributed to the entire population of 57 employees using a total sampling technique. Data analysis involved validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t tests, and coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS version 30.0. The findings indicate that work life balance has a significant negative effect on job stress, while workload has a significant positive effect on job stress. These results suggest that maintaining a healthy work life balance can reduce employee stress levels, whereas excessive workload increases job pressure. Practically, this study provides insights for government institutions in designing human resource management strategies, particularly by promoting proportional workload distribution and supporting employees’ work life balance, in order to mitigate job stress and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates how market capitalization, price volatility, and behavioral biases affect decisions to buy cryptocurrencies. Because of its decentralized structure and extreme volatility, the cryptocurrency market frequently affects investment choices through psychological elements, including loss aversion, overconfidence, and herd mentality. This study uses a quantitative methodology to analyze data from the nine most traded cryptocurrencies using independent t-tests, multiple linear regression, and simple linear regression. According to the study's findings, decisions to buy cryptocurrencies are significantly positively influenced by herd behavior and overconfidence, as shown by high volatility, but not significantly by loss aversion. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that price volatility significantly affects herd behavior, meaning that investors are influenced to follow the majority lead when prices fluctuate significantly. However, the degree of herd behavior is not affected by market capitalization, suggesting that psychological elements like herd behavior are more impacted by general market conditions than by market capitalization size. These results highlight how crucial it is to comprehend the psychological aspects of cryptocurrency market decision-making, since doing so can offer a better understanding of investor behavior and the workings of this extremely unpredictable market.

Abstract

Green Logistics (GL) presents a strategic framework for enhancing operational efficiency and environmental sustainability two key imperatives in modern supply chains. However, its implementation among MSMEs, particularly in agriculture and in developing countries, remains both understudied and underutilized. This study explores the extent to which GL practices influence Operational Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability within agricultural MSMEs in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia. Adopting a mixed methods approach, quantitative data were collected from 76 MSME actors and analyzed using SEM PLS, while qualitative insights were gathered through open ended survey questions. Results show that GL significantly impacts Operational Efficiency (β = 0.593) and Environmental Sustainability (β = 0.485), with Efficiency acting as a partial mediator (β = 0.406). The R² values of 0.633 and 0.352 suggest strong predictive validity for the structural model. The qualitative data reinforce these findings by highlighting real world constraints limited access to eco-friendly tools, a lack of technical knowledge, and insufficient training. While geographically localized, the study provides transferable insights into the broader barriers and potential of GL adoption among MSMEs in emerging economies. It also affirms the relevance of the NRBV and GSCM frameworks when adapted to rural and resource constrained contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work-Life Balance (WLB) and Person-Organization Fit (PO-Fit) on Intention to Leave (ITL) with Job Satisfaction (JS) as a mediator among dormitory counselors at boarding schools in Padang City. A quantitative approach was used with a population of all active counselors at Ar Risalah and Sabbihisma (n=77) and purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that WLB and PO-Fit negatively affected ITL, meaning that the better the work-life balance and fit of the individual with the organization, the lower the counselor's intention to leave. Job Satisfaction also negatively affected ITL and acted as a significant mediator in the relationship between PO-Fit and ITL, but was not significant in the relationship between WLB and ITL. These findings emphasize the importance of the fit between individual values, culture, and goals with the organization in increasing Job Satisfaction and reducing turnover intention. This research provides strategic implications for boarding school management in increasing job satisfaction, retaining mentors, and ensuring the continuity of the student character development process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and empirically prove the influence of Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earnings Per Share (EPS) on stock prices. The population consists of non-bank companies listed in the LQ-45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. A total of 35 companies were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using a panel data regression model with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach through EViews version 13 software. The results indicate that ROE has a significant positive effect on stock prices, while DER has a significant negative effect. Meanwhile, EPS was found to have no significant effect on stock prices, suggesting that earnings per share information has already been reflected in market prices. Simultaneously, the independent variables explain 95.34% of the variation in stock prices. These findings imply that investors should prioritize the analysis of profitability and capital structure over earnings per share when making investment decisions in LQ-45 stocks.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia has transformed into a representation of social identity and modern lifestyle, triggering intensive competition in the food and beverage sector. Tomoro Coffee Ciputat Raya Branch faces strategic challenges in maintaining a competitive advantage amidst high population density and fierce competition in South Tangerang. This study aims to formulate a business development strategy by identifying the company's internal and external factors. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative, utilizing Internal Factor Analysis Strategy (IFAS) Matrix, External Factor Analysis Strategy (EFAS) Matrix, and the SWOT Cartesian Diagram. Data were collected through field observations at Jl. Dewi Sartika No.11G and questionnaires distributed to six expert respondents. Identification results indicate that the primary strengths lie in the Eversys espresso machine technology, which ensures taste consistency (score 0.357), and a strong modern brand image (score 0.357). The most significant opportunities arise from the growth of the Gen Z population (score 0.416) and the sustainable Work From Cafe (WFC) trend (score 0.387). The data processing resulted in an IFAS score of 3.367 and an EFAS score of 3.194, positioning the company in Quadrant I (Aggressive). The recommended strategy is a growth-oriented strategy based on the Strengths-Opportunities (SO) approach, implemented through the optimization of digital market penetration via the Tomoro App and the enhancement of WFC supporting facilities to strengthen customer retention and create entry barriers for competitors.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the high dependence of MSMEs in the beverage sector in Indonesia on the use of single-use plastic packaging, which cumulatively contributes significantly to environmental pollution. Low environmental awareness, lack of understanding of waste management, and limited access to sustainable packaging solutions make MSME business practices not in line with sustainability principles. This study aims to identify strategic approaches through green entrepreneurship that can be implemented by beverage sector MSMEs to reduce the environmental impact of plastic use. The method used was Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, by searching for relevant articles from scientific databases within the period 2019-2024. The results show that the green entrepreneurship approach, involving green innovation, regulatory support, and environmental literacy, is proven to significantly and positively support the transformation of MSMEs towards more sustainable business practices. This finding reinforces the urgency of implementing green entrepreneurship as a strategic solution to the plastic waste problem while strengthening the contribution of MSMEs to the national green economy.
