Abstract

21st century learning, including learning Indonesian requires students to think critically and creatively. The ministry's policy regarding text-based learning of Indonesian illustrates that currently learning Indonesian is not just at the level of remembering but has reached the level of creating. In line with this policy, this study aims to describe the implementation of e-module-assisted debate text learning at SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach. A descriptive research design is used to describe the implementation of e-module assisted learning in debate texts in accordance with 21st century policies on the independent curriculum. The results of the study show that teaching debate texts using companion teaching materials such as e-modules is considered to be able to improve students' ability to think critically.

Abstract

Children are a gift from Allah SWT, which we must be grateful for and take care of. Therefore, this period must be maximized to instill all kinds of virtues and disciplinary values ​​that can cleanse the soul to educate children so that they grow up to be human beings who have a strong personality, are not easily swayed by circumstances, believe sincerely in Allah SWT. and His apostles, and firm and strong in facing all kinds of life's problems. To improve child discipline, especially in worship, it is necessary to have a mother as the main support, because the closeness between mother and child is the main basis in guiding children to become better individuals, especially in improving the discipline of children's fardhu prayers. Therefore, a mother's assistance plays an important role in guiding children to be more disciplined in carrying out the five daily prayers because basically parents, both mothers and fathers, are madrasah or the first teacher for a child who fills in learning at home (informal)

Abstract

Supervisi akademik merupakan upaya membantu guru-guru mengembangkan kemampuannya mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, dengan demikian permasalahan yang timbul yaitu apakah dengan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran bagi guru MIN 28 Aceh Timur semester Genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian tindakan madrasah ini dilaksanakan di MIN 28 Aceh Timur Kabupaten Aceh Timur dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan pembelajaran melalui supervisi akademik kepala madrasah bagi guru MIN 28 Aceh Timur semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Sedangkan metode pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan madrasah melalaui deskriptif dan kuantitatif yang terdiri dari 1) perencanaan 2) pelaksanaan 3) pemgamatan dan 4) refleksi yang terdiri dari dua siklus empat kali pertemuan. Hasil aplikasi supervisi akademik ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran di kelas lebih meningkat. Hal ini dibuktikan pada perolehan hasil supervisi pada Siklus I dengan jumlah presentase 65% dan pada siklus II 100%. Dengan demikian, kemampuan guru dapat meningkat melalui supervisi akademik kepala madrasah. Juga aktifitas guru dalam pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dengan hasil angket siklus I 46 % dan siklus II 96% ini menurut hasil pengamatan observer dan peneliti. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa supervisi akademik pada guru wali kelas V dan VI MIN 28 Aceh Timur dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengajar dan kelengkapan instrumen PBM serta supervisi akademik ini dapat menjadi alternatif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan baik.

Abstract

This research raises the issue of whether the application of contextual learning can improve student learning outcomes and student activities in the Simple Values of Life material for class XII MAN 1 East Aceh. To obtain answers to these problems, the classroom action research method was used. The subjects of this research were 28 students in class XII MAN 1 East Aceh for the 2021/2022 academic year. Research data was obtained through observation and test techniques, and analyzed by determining the average student learning outcomes, percentage of learning completeness and average student activity. The research results prove that the application of contextual learning in the material of understanding the value of a simple life in class XII MAN East Aceh can improve student learning outcomes each cycle. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes in cycle I of 64.64 with a completion percentage of 64.29%, cycle II of 73.21 with a completion percentage of 75.00%, and cycle III of 83.21 with a completion percentage of 89. .29% so that classical learning completeness is achieved. Thus, the application of contextual learning can overcome students' learning difficulties in understanding the value of a simple life at MAN 1 East Aceh. The average level of student activity in cycle I was 3.28 in the sufficient category, in cycle II it was 3.71 in the good category, and in cycle III it was 4.36 in the good category. This shows that the application of a contextual approach in learning the Qur'an and Hadith can increase student activity and creativity.

Abstract

Education is part of national development which is directed at improving the dignity and quality of human resources. Quality Human Resources (HR) are very important in the development of a nation. The quality of a nation will be determined by its education, only quality human resources will be able to win the world labor market. This research is Classroom Action Research, aiming to determine the increase in student learning achievement through group investigation type cooperative learning on the material "Plant and Animal Breeding Systems", with the research subjects being 28 students in classIX MTsN 3 Aceh Timur for the 2021/2022 academic year. In its implementation, this research consisted of two cycles which included planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The results of this research indicate an increase in student learning achievement through group investigation type cooperative learning in cycle I and cycle II, namely with a percentage of 71.43% to 89.28%. This shows that there has been an increase in student learning achievement by 17.85% from cycle I to cycle II. The activities of teachers and students also increased by 17% for teacher activities and 13% for student activities. The average percentage of teacher and student activity in cycle I was 77% and 79% respectively, rising to 94% and 92% in cycle II.

Abstract

One of the case studies in the Interior Product Design class is that students learn to use leftover industrial materials, namely wood and paper, into decorative works that have functional and aesthetic value. The aim of this lesson is to determine the effectiveness of the learning by doing method in optimizing the quality of designing student room accessories and to provide awareness to students about the importance of reprocessing waste into new creative works, namely interior accessories. Creation of work through a simple design thinking process, namely Inspiration, Ideation and Implementation and using the Learning by Doing method in the implementation process. The results obtained from this program are a creativity process using the learning by doing method which allows for direct learning experiences independently and collectively as well as a deeper understanding of the process of creating interior accessory works. Students also become skilled in processing wood and paper waste and are able to be creative by transforming wood and paper waste into decorative lamps for residential purposes.

Abstract

The year 2020 witnessed unprecedented global changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, profoundly affecting daily life. The education sector, a significant casualty, underwent considerable transformation in Indonesia. Swift government policies highlighted the commitment to prioritize education amid adversity. This study employs both functionalism and Victor Turner's social drama to comprehend the educational shifts during the pandemic. Using a literature review, diverse sources were analyzed through Turner's social drama concept. The pandemic's impact on education unfolded in breach, crisis, redress, and outcome stages. Significant adjustments in learning methods ensued, challenging all stakeholders. A governmental response with new policies aimed to mitigate the crisis. A year later, persistent challenges led to the introduction of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Despite learning disparities, signs of recovery surfaced, attributed to factors like the Kurikulum Merdeka, teacher development, and local government support. While facing challenges, effective implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka requires comprehensive support. Turner's social drama model provides a nuanced understanding of societal dynamics during crises, complementing functionalism's macro-level focus. Its flexibility enables a productive analysis of societal crises, contributing to a holistic view of societal events.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the steps for character education through the Tahfidz Al Qur'an program at SD I Batusangkar, to identify the Islamic character of students at SMAN I Batusangkar through the Tahfidz Al Qur'an program. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type with data triagulation analysis techniques. To obtain information, researchers used interview techniques, observation and documentation with the subject teachers and school principals. Based on the results obtained: Steps for Islamic character education through learning Tahfidz Al Qur'an at SNAN I ; SMAN I Batusangkar has provided a form and pattern of Islamic character education in learning Tahfidz Al Qur'an which includes 5 characters, namely: Religious, clean, istiqomah, disciplined and patient in learning. The aim of this research is 1. To know the steps for Islamic character education in learning Tahfidz Al-Qur'an. 2. To find out the implementation of Islamic character education in learning Tahfidz Al Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the engagement and learning outcomes of 7th-grade students at MTsN 2 Aceh Timur through the implementation of a learning scenario based on the "Snakes and Ladders" game. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected using observation sheets to measure student engagement and learning tests to assess the improvement in understanding the material. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and quantitatively to determine the development of student engagement and learning outcomes from one cycle to the next. The results showed a significant increase in student engagement during the learning process. Additionally, there was an improvement in student learning outcomes, as indicated by the increase in the average student scores in each cycle. The application of the learning scenario based on the "Snakes and Ladders" game proved effective in creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment, which ultimately had a positive impact on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Computer education plays an essential role in enhancing students' digital literacy in today's digital era. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of computer-based learning in improving students' technological skills in secondary schools. The research method used in this study is a literature review, analyzing various previous studies discussing the implementation of computer education in the educational field. The results show that integrating computer education into the school curriculum positively impacts various aspects, such as increasing problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to new technologies. Moreover, computer education contributes to enhancing students' digital literacy and critical thinking skills. In the continuously evolving digital era, students' ability to use productivity software, understand basic programming, and maintain digital security is crucial. Previous studies indicate that students who receive computer education are better prepared to face technological challenges than those who do not. Therefore, innovative and adaptive learning strategies are necessary to ensure that computer education continues to develop in line with technological advancements. Schools need to improve access to technological devices, provide training for teachers, and design curricula that focus more on developing 21st-century skills.
