Abstract

Grandparenting is a parenting method carried out by grandparents. Actually in the family, parents are responsible for raising and educating their children. This study aims to describe the grandparenting style in improving the personality of early childhood in Jati Alun-Alun Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed using data collection, data condensation, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The results showed that (1) Grandparenting in Jati Alun-Alun Village mostly applied democratic parenting (2) Efforts made by grandparenting in shaping the personality of early childhood used several methods, namely instilling moral and religious values , applying discipline, giving reprimands and praise, helping children solve problems, and giving time for children (3) Obstacles faced by grandparenting in shaping the personality of early childhood in Jati Alun-Alun Village are conflicts between grandparenting and children's parents, age factor , and environmental factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the seTARA Daring application-based blended learning method and determine the level of interest in learning students of the post-pandemic Package C equivalence program. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a type of field research. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, field notes and documentation. The data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.The results of the research obtained show that the application of the seTARA Daring application-based blended learning method after the pandemic can create learning activities that are more flexible, effective and efficient in the use of time. The interest in learning students increases as seen from the enthusiasm and activeness in participating in learning. In the process of applying the application-based blended learning method seTARA Daring, there are supporting and inhibiting factors that affect the interest in learning students.

Abstract

Achieving good learning outcomes will be obtained through planning a mature online learning process, one of which is learning communication. This study aims to find out how big the relationship between learning communication is with learning outcomes in online learning. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a comparative causal research type and a sample of 27, namely package C class 12 students. Data was collected through questionnaires, tests, observation, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the relationship between learning communication and learning outcomes in sociology subjects had a sig (1-tailed) score of 0.282, English subjects had a sig (1-tailed) score of 0.271, the civics education subject showed a sig (1-tailed) value of 0.262 , then for the Indonesian language subject with a sig (1-tailed) score of 0.132, and in the mathematics subject a sig (1-tailed) score of 0.337. So it can be interpreted that there is no significant relationship between learning communication and learning outcomes in online learning for the package C equivalence program at SPNF SKB Sidoarjo.

Abstract

PKBM Budi Utama is a non-formal education with an equality program package A, package B, and package C. New learning habits using the internet that were carried out after the COVID-19 pandemic depended heavily on learning media. Learning motivation of students has a relationship with the learning process carried out between educators and students. Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between online learning media and the learning motivation of package C students at PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya. The research approach is quantitative and correlational research type. The test results show a correlation coefficient of 0.999, which is a very strong relationship between the x variable and the y variable. The significance test uses the Spearman rank with the result of a p-value of 0.000 which is then compared to (0.000 <0.05) from the above test H0 is rejected, Ha is accepted. The conclusion is a relationship between online learning media and the learning motivation of package C PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems regarding learning motivation in students when participating in the senior highschool equivalency program, which indicates a lack of motivation to learn. There are factors that influence learning motivation, one of which is extrinsic factors, namely family social support. The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the relationship between family social support and students learning motivation in participating in the senior highschool equivalency program at SKB Mojoagung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation with research respondents as many as 35 students of the senior highschool equivalency program at SKB Mojoagung. While the data analysis technique in this study uses the Product Moment formula to analyze the questionnaire. The results showed that family social support had a positive and significant relationship with the learning motivation of senior highschool equivalency students at SKB Mojoagung, as indicated by r count> r table (0.741>0.334) with a sig value = 0.000 <0.05. So that the higher the value of family social support, the higher the value of learning motivation, or conversely

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to show that the role of tutors in organizing learning; 1) Informer, which means providing information to students about subject matter and learning mechanisms; (2) Organizer, including academic activities such as arranging lesson schedules for the learning process, and other activities such as lesson plans; (3) Motivator, namely encouraging students to participate actively in the learning process; (4) Director, which means guiding or directing students in teaching and learning activities; (5) Innovators, meaning those who create concepts in the learning process or create learning models; (6) Disseminators, tutors have an important role as disseminators of educational wisdom and knowledge to students; (7) Facilitator, which means providing facilities that support the learning process of students; (8) Mediator, which means introducing students to learning media during the learning process; (9) Evaluation, which means conducting an assessment of students. In organizing learning at SKB Mojokerto there are obstacles in the learning process, namely the presence of students, the difficulty of tutors providing information, no access to active telephone numbers and a lack of motivation in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the implementation of the role of mentoring fasilitators in the single mother community in Arbain Housing, Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result show the various forms of activity (1) The form of the facilitating role consist of activities of social enthusiasm, group facilitation, and support (2) The form of the educating role consist of activities using the media, obtaining various resources and building networks (3) The form of the technical role consist of financial regulatory activities. Furthermore, the factors that support of the role of facilitator include completeness of infrastructure and commitment to harmony and obedience to regulations. Meanwhile, the factors that hinders of the role is the lack of government support and the presence of community members who are less proactive.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning participation of students at the Surabaya State SKB. Students are adults who need an andragogy approach in implementing learning.The goal to be achieved in this study is to examine the application of the andragogical approach in increasing the learning participation of Equivalence Package C students at the SKB Negeri Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interview techniques, participant observation, and documentation. The results of this research are the application of andragogy in increasing student learning participation. given in the form of an e-module so that it is difficult for students to understand the learning material.

Abstract

Surabaya City Comunity Learning Center has various issues, including a lack of learning materials that include curriculum competencies. The goal of this study was to learn about the management, impediments, and supportive elements of the vocational program at Surabaya City Comunity Learning Center in addressing students' learning needs. This study employs a qualitative technique with descriptive analysis writing. The data validity test is a credibility test that employs source and member triangulation, transferability testing, dependability tests, and confirmability tests. Administrators, students, educators, and educational institutions from the Comunity Learning Center City of Surabaya participated in this study. The study's findings indicate that the Management of Vocational Programs Based on Students' Learning Needs is managed. Based on parts of the management function, such as planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, that can run smoothly. It has also been running efficiently in the process of managing the vocational program, which is related with attempts to meet the learning demands of pupils. However, there are limitations in the implementation of the vocational program at the Surabaya City Comunity Learning Center in terms of quality sources, infrastructure, and depth of material. This is because Surabaya City Comunity Learning Center is still dependent on partnerships and cannot function independently.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of working mothers and non-working mothers on social emotional development of early childhood in RW 07 Tanjung Perak Sub-District, Surabaya City. This study examines the influence of working mothers and non-working mothers on social emotional development of early childhood. This type of research is Ex Post Facto Causal Comparative Research. The data in the study were taken using a questionnaire which was distributed to research respondents with a population of 62. The data analysis technique used the T test. The results showed that: (1) working mothers and non-working mothers have an influence on the social emotional development of young children (2) Mothers who do not work have a greater influence on the social emotional development of early childhood than working mothers. For working mothers and non-working mothers, it is hoped that they will be able to maintain and improve the social emotionality of their children.
