Abstract

Children's education can be supported by technology because the many opportunities and challenges presented by digital media can be used as a means to support children's growth and development. Parents have an important and essential role in children's development because they give children the experiences they have. The role of parents in digital literacy in early childhood and the efforts made to support parents in introducing, and guiding children to use digital media and the use of digital literacy for children in early childhood development. This research uses a qualitative approach to research with descriptive writing methods. Data collection techniques in this study are by using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. This research shows that parental management assistance in introducing digital literacy has several results of mentoring patterns, namely increasing the number and variety of quality learning resources and expanding access to quality learning resources and their scope.

Abstract

Non-formal education is a learning process that takes place in an organized way outside the formal education system/school, one of which is package C equivalence education. The Gresik Regency Government has provided an innovative program, namely the "Jaketku" complete drop-out program, which aims to complete out-of-school/drop-out children. The implementation of the complete dropout package chase program must of course be appropriate and right on target for people who need further education. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method at SKB Gresik, Cerme District. The data collection used was in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of the program to catch up on dropouts at SKB Gresik in the Cerme District was expected to actually be able to complete the children who did not go to school/dropouts in Gresik district, especially in the sub-districts which were the targets of implementing the program to catch up/education equality. As well as the hope of the community in continuing their education level which had stopped during elementary school and high school, with the hope that the people of Gresik district, especially in the Cerme sub-district, have high enthusiasm in continuing their education in adulthood and providing welfare for their lives in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of the Bismar Al Mustaqim LKSA orphanage in developing foster children's interpersonal intelligence, what are the inhibiting factors for caregivers in developing foster children's interpersonal intelligence, and what efforts are being made to overcome the inhibiting factors of caregivers in developing children's interpersonal intelligence foster. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative method. Data sources are caregiver coordinators, male caregivers, female caregivers, mentors, foster children. The data collection techniques applied were participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of caregivers in developing foster children's interpersonal intelligence is to become a figure of (a) a substitute parent or authority in implementing parenting, guiding, providing affection and motivation, (b) as a teacher or authority in providing education and guidance for foster children in developing their interpersonal intelligence, and as (c) a facilitator, or authorized to facilitate foster children in supporting the process of developing their interpersonal intelligence. Inhibiting factors in the development of interpersonal intelligence in foster children consist of internal factors or factors originating from oneself (parental burnout, low self-efficacy, and age) and external factors (previous parenting style, child's character, and the surrounding environment).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the role of parents on students' learning motivation. And also describe the learning motivation of students in learning at SKB Gresik. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of field research. The writing method used in this research is a descriptive method that aims to describe the phenomena found in the field, the data collected in this study were collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation, with data analysis using data collection techniques, data reduction, data analysis, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results obtained in this study indicate that. Parents as the highest authority in the family have an important role in the learning process of children, both directly and indirectly. The role of parents is needed by children to encourage and spur motivation in the child's learning process. With attention in the child's learning process in the form of parental involvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe parents' consensual communication patterns in shaping the responsible behavior of adolescents aged 17-18 years at Papan Bestari 2 Housing, Pasuruan City. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that parents who apply consensual communication patterns are parents who are open to teenagers by getting used to telling stories, discussing, andsharing to adolescents, so that parents also provide intense supervision and attention to adolescents to be able to monitor their development. In forming responsibilities in adolescents, parents get used to planting from an early age to give concrete examples, give space and always provide supervision. The supporting factor is in the form of giving space to adolescents and the knowledge possessed by parents about the condition of adolescents, while the inhibiting factor is that adolescents are less able to regulate their emotions so they are less able to adjust the way of communication with older people.

Abstract

The issue in this study is the process of character formation in children through traditional games, specifically how standard games may keep the character values included in them in order to mold the character of each unique kid. This study employs a qualitative technique with descriptive analytical writing. In-depth interviews, interactive observation, and documentation were used to obtain data for this study. The chairman of Kampoeng Dolanan Surabaya, volunteers from Kampoeng Dolanan Surabaya, children, and parents were the subjects of this study. The findings revealed that traditional games, as well as different strategies for communicating traditional games, can assist form character in youngsters both during and after play. There are just five sorts of games available Traditional games in Kampoeng Dolanan are thought to embody strong character characteristics like as responsibility, loyalty to rules, teamwork, and honesty, based on the vast number of aficionados for these activities. Of the four types of character values found in the five traditional games included for this study. These character characteristics can be established in each unique kid while or after playing by needing time that is not only played once but also demands the youngster to play multiple times.

Abstract

The Life Skill programme is determined by UPT Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Gresik according to the learning needs of students, one of which is the basic level sewing Life Skill programme. This study aims to describe the management of the basic level sewing life skills programme in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, and describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the basic level sewing life skills programme. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods at UPT Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Gresik. Data collection techniques in this research use in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The data validity criteria include internal validity (Credibility), external validity (Transferability), and dependability (Vaiability), objectivity (Confirmability). The results of this study are the management of the basic level sewing life skills program based on planning, organising, implementing, and supervising. However, there are several aspects that have not been implemented properly which affect the development of the basic level sewing life skills programme. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and examine the institution's marketing strategy, describe and examine the institution's efforts to reach new students, describe and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the institution's marketing strategy in an effort to reach new students at PKBM Kak Seto Surabaya. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data display, verification and conclusion. Data validity techniques used are credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability. The research results show that there are 2 stages of the institutional marketing strategy at PKBM Kak Seto Surabaya, namely planning and implementation. The planning stage includes Market Segmentation Market Identification, Product Differentiation, Marketing Communications, Institutional Services. The implementation phase is the implementation of marketing mix elements namely product strategy, price strategy, location strategy, promotion strategy, human resource strategy, physical evidence strategy, and process or service strategy. The institution's efforts to reach new students are to improve quality, expand promotion and provide services. The supporting factors are Kak Seto's big name, flexible learning, various program choices, comfortable atmosphere, good quality, attractive promotions, and supportive infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are discrimination in equality school graduates, and the community is not familiar with non-formal education.
