Abstract

This is a descriptive quantitative research. The samples of this research were 150 students at VII grade Junior high school. The data collecting technique that was used by the researcher was One Tail t-Test and regression test. The  result  of  this  research  shown  that:  (1)  The  level  of  the  students? learning motivation was considered as high, (2) The learning facilities comprehensiveness at the students? home is high, (3)  The  contribution  of  the  students?  learning  facilities  comprehensiveness  at home towards their learning motivation is 10,4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to produce a module of learning guidance that was proper and effective as the media development of learning guidance services to reduce students academic procrastination behavior SMP. This research was a Research and development. The result of the analysis showed that the index test results of the expert validation test was 0.866 therefore it can be concluded that the valuation module of learning guidance by experts have excellent validity with the level of reliability almost perfect agreement. Test on a small group of practitioners was0.777 therefore it can be concluded that the learning guidance module has a good validity with the level of reliability substantial agreement. The value of small group test at learners was 173 therefore it can be concluded that learning guidance module assessment from the students was included in the very appropriate category.  The results of the validation test supported by effectiveness test to several student that was effective for reducing students academic procrastination behavior.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul bimbingan belajar yang layak dan efektif sebagai pengembangan media layanan bimbingan belajar untuk mereduksi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik peserta didik SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa indeks hasil uji validasi ahli sebesar 0,866 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penilaian modul bimbingan belajar menurut ahli memiliki validitas sangat baik dengan tingkat kehandalan almost perfect agreement. Uji kelompok kecil pada praktisi sebesar 0,777 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul bimbingan belajar memiliki validitas yang baik dengan tingkat kehandalan substantial agreement. Nilai uji kelompok kecil pada peserta didik sebesar 173 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penilaian modul bimbingan belajar menurut peserta didik termasuk kategori sangat sesuai. Hasil dari uji validasi tersebut didukung dengan hasil uji keefektifan produk terhadap sekelompok siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa modul bimbingan belajar yang dikembangkan  efektif  untuk mereduksi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik peserta didik SMP.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effectivity of self-instruction technique to improve self-confidence of junior high school students. Self-confidence in this research was confidence in learning. The research was a single-case experimental research A-B design. The subject of this research were two subjects which is chosen using purposive sampling technique. The data was collected using self-confident questionare, observation, and interview. Then the data was analyzed using statistic analysis with percentages techniques and clinical analysis. The analysis showed that the calculations using percentages analysis techniques in subject 1 shows the percentages change in the behavior of self-confidence in learning at 62,5%, subject 2 shows change of self-confodencein learning at 61,5%. The result of percentage analysis are supported by the result of clinical analysis, teachers and friends of the subject as significant others in the school states that in each of the research subjects experienced a increase in level of confidence in learning. This shows that there is a difference between the baseline data measurement phase with the data post intervention measurement of self-confidence. Then the hypothesis is proven. The conclusions of this research that self-instruction technique are effective to improve self-confidence of junior high school students.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of classroom presentation on time management to reduce the addiction to Facebook social networking. This research used the experimental research method with the non-randomized pretest-posstest control group design. Its subjects were the students who were addicted to Facebook social networking. They consisted of 44 students, and were divided into two groups: 22 students in experimental group and 22 students in control group. The data of research were analyzed by using the Mann- Whitney U-Test and the Wilcoxon Test. The result of the Mann Whitney was 0.001 (0.001<0.05). Therefore, there was a significant difference of gain score between the students in experimental group and those in control group following the treatment with the classroom presentation on time management.Thus, the classroom presentation on time management is effective to reduce the addition to Facebook Social Networking.

Abstract

The research purposes to produce prototype 1 which is the guide service manual development to improve religious behavior using self-monitoring technique for high school students which will be ready to be examined of its effectiveness and efficiency. This research used research and development; however the research was only conducted to pre development stage which was production stage. The collecting data had been done using questionnaire of the students? necessity and importance. The result showed that (1) based on the result of empirikal review, the development to improve religious behavior was very needed and very important for students, parents, and the counseling teacher. (2) based on the analysis of empirikal review and the empirikal review could be developed in a product, which is ?The Guidance Service Manual Development to Improve Religious Behavior Using Self-Monitoring Technique for High School Student.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of group guidance with scrabble games to improve creativity junior high school students. This research used quasi experiment design. The subjects of 62 students that divided into experimental group and control group that depended on matching technique. The data about creative quotient (CQ) score collected using a test named ?Tes Kreativitas Verbal? (TKV). The result of independent sample t-test testing for posttest data in experiment group and control group showed that p value=0.000, it means that there was significant difference on posttest?s result between experiment group and control group. The result of paired sample t-test testing for pretest posttest data in experiment group showed p value=0.000, it means that there was significant difference on pretest posttest?s result in experiment group between pretest score and posttest score of experimental group after given group guidance with scrabble games as a treatment. Conclusions from this research was group guidance with scrabble games effective to improve creativity of junior high school students.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to test the effectiveness of role playing tecnique to improvement of student?s interpersonal intelligence  of the seven grade junior high school students. This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The subject of this research are the who have low intepersonal intelligence. The subject obtained 82 students that devide into experimental group and control group. Instrument that is used is quotionaire of interpersonal intelligence for pretest and posttest. The analysis of the data in this research used quantitative analysis with t-test and clinical analysis. The result of the analysis showed that the result of T-test is 2,281, with significance value 0,006 if it is compared with ttable (df = 80, sig 0,05, t = 2,000) so tcount >ttable and significance value <0,05. Based from the research result knew that value of experimental group increase after role playing treatment was given. It shows that role playing is effective to increasing student?s interpersonal intelligence .Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal rendah. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 82 siswa yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, 41 siswa untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 41 siswa untuk kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kecerdasan interpersonal untuk melaksanakan pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif t-test dan analisis klinis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan  bahwa hasil uji t-test sebesar 2,281 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,006 jika dibandingkan ttabel (df = 80, sig 0,05, t = 2,000) maka thitung > ttabel dan taraf signifikansi <0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan kecerdasan interpersonal pada kelompok eksperimen sesudah diberi treatment berupa role playing. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa role playing efektif untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal.

Abstract

The aims of the research was to determine the effectiveness of game simulation used snakes and ladders media to fostering elementary students? interpersonal relationships. This was Guidance and Counseling Action Research with the subject of research were five students of fifth grade, who have difficulty for interlacing interpersonal relationships. Preliminary studies and collecting data use interviews and observation instruments. The study was conducted in three cycles of action. The data result of research were obtained from the observation during game activities happen use observation sheet and interview. Researchers gives a pretest and posttest using the observation sheet and students are given guidance group technique of game simulation media snakes and ladders. The validity of the data was gained through data, method and theory triangulation technic. The analysis of data use the percentage analysis and then committed clinical analysis. The results of research showed that group guidance group technique of game simulation media snakes and ladders is able to improve interpersonal relationships of fifth grade students in Elementary School. The statement is evidenced by an increase in the average yield percentage of students interpersonal relationships for each cycle , the first cycle is 32.3% , the second cycle is 45.55% and the third cycle is 86,17%.

Abstract

This study was a quasi-experimental design with the type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was Purposive Random Sampling Technique. Data analysis  was  using Two-Way ANOVA. Based on the testing result of hypothesis I the value of Fcount is 9,138 and Ftable was 3,92, with the significance level of 0,003<0,05. It is identified that Fcount>Ftable then Ha  was  accepted.  It  means  that  there  is  significantly  difference  in  the  ability  of interpersonal communication before being given treatment and after being given treatment. The testing result of hypothesis II the value of Fcount was 5,542  and  the  Ftable  is  3,92,  with  the significance level  of 0,020 <0,05.  It  was identified that Fcount>Ftable then Ha is accepted. It may imply that there are significantly differences in the ability of interpersonal communications in the experimental group and the control group. The testing result of sub hypothesis III the value of Fcount  is 4.850 and the Ftable  is 3.92, with the significance level of 0.034<0.05. It is identified that the Fcount > Ftable then Ha is accepted. It means that there is an interaction between groups of interpersonal communication skills on pretest and posttest with interpersonal communication skills in the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve students? self-efficacy through the module of psychodrama technique. This study used research and development approach. Based on the results of preliminary research which the field study and literature study, the researcher developed a product in the form of a module implementation of psychodrama technique to improve students? self-efficacy. The products, which have been produced were rationally tested by experts and practitioners. The results of the assessment which was done by experts and practitioners claimed that the product was categorized good and eligible for use, with an average value of 87.7%. Products that have been declared eligible for use next tested its effectiveness.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri peserta didik melalui modul implementasi teknik psikodrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Dalam pengujian efektivitas modul implementasi teknik psikodrama menggunakan pola eksperimen randomized control-group pretest-posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil studi lapangan dan studi kepustakaan dikembangkan sebuah produk berupa modul teknik psikodrama untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri peserta didik. Produk yang telah dihasilkan tersebut diuji secara rasional oleh ahli dan praktisi. Hasil penilaian dari ahli dan praktisi menyatakan bahwa produk dalam kategori baik atau layak untuk digunakan, dengan nilai rata-rata 87,7%. Produk yang telah dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan selanjutnya diuji keefektifannya. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah mendapat perlakuan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul implementasi teknik psikodrama efektif untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri peserta didik.
