Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Al-Amin sebagai media ilmiah untuk kajian penelitian dosen, guru, mahasiswa dan peneliti lainnya yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

Flashcards are a visual medium used to display information such as names or pictures on one or two objects used in a lesson or learning activity. It is often used by parents and teachers to teach children about understanding and learning from information about a subject. This research will examine: 1) How the hijaiyah letter flashcard media is applied to group A children at RA Miftahul Huda Nogosari, 2) whether the hijaiyah letter flashcard media is effective in improving students' ability to recognize hijaiyah letters. Meanwhile, the aim is to determine the application of hijaiyah letter flashcard media carried out by educators for group A children at RA Miftahul Huda Nogosari and also to determine the effectiveness of hijaiyah letter flashcard media in improving students' ability to recognize hijaiyah letters. The type of research used is quantitative, as well as experimental using pretest and posttest without comparison classes. Then, to find out the level of effectiveness, use the Paired Sample Test. Research conducted at RA Miftahul Huda Nogosari found that children's ability to learn hijaiyah letters without flashcard media was limited so that many were not able to memorize hijaiyah letters. Research has found that the use of flashcards is effective in improving children's ability to learn hijaiyah letters, because they provide a good learning experience and help students understand the meaning of hijaiyah letters. Apart from that, using flashcards can increase children's interest and understanding of hijaiyah letters, because each flashcard has a different color.  Keywords: Flashcard, hijaiyah letters

Abstract

Child abuse is a complex and profound issue, often involving various internal and external factors. This article examines the role of close individuals, such as family, peers, and the educational environment, in the advocacy and protection of children from violence. The primary focus of this research is how the interactions between children and their close ones can serve as early preventers and protectors against violence. The family, as the first environment encountered by the child, plays a crucial role in creating a sense of security and providing physical and emotional protection. Peers, while they can be a source of support, can also contribute to worsening the situation through bullying and verbal abuse, requiring active intervention by adults. The educational environment is also considered an important factor in educating children about their rights, as well as how to recognize and report violence. This article suggests that educational programs focused on positive parenting, emotional management, and healthy communication within families can raise public awareness about the dangers of child abuse. Additionally, increasing accessibility to legal and psychological services, as well as legal assistance for victims, is crucial to ensure that children can obtain the help they need. The research concludes that a collective effort from families, peers, education, and society as a whole is essential in creating a safe environment for children and protecting them from violence.

Abstract

The character education of children in the family should not be regarded as simple and unimportant. Some families seem indifferent to children's character education is indeed a serious challenge in modern society. Character education is an important part of children's development which includes aspects of morals, ethics, attitudes, and positive values that will help them become good and responsible citizens in society. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the family in strengthening the basic character of children. The research method used is qualitative, with the type of literature research. The method of obtaining data uses documentation, namely books, articles, and reference sources related to the title. The result of the study is that the family has a very important role in shaping the basic character of children. They are the first agents of character formation of children from an early age. Daily interactions with parents, siblings, and other family members form the foundation of a child's character, such as values, attitudes, and good behavior.

Abstract

Early childhood education is for children aged 0-6 years. Early childhood is a unique individual who has a pattern of growth and development in physical and cognitive aspects. By using playdough media, children can recognize and memorize colors, understand the instructions given by the teacher, understand the concept of time, etc. This research was carried out with the aim of knowing 1) the cognitive development of children aged 4-6 years at kindergarten at ceria banjarrejo. 2) Find out about efforts to develop the cognitive abilities of children aged 4-6 years through playdough games at Ceria Banjarrejo Kindergarten. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, while the type of researcher used is descriptive which seeks to describe and interpret existing data. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the cognitive development of children at the Ceria Banjarrejo Kindergarten using playdough media has developed well and is in accordance with the child's developmental stages. There are several findings that have been implemented by the teacher, namely: 1) The teacher prepares tools & materials in the form of flour, vegetable oil, water and a bowl. 2) The teacher gives instructions and guides the children on how to make playdough. 3) Teachers adjust learning media according to themes and sub-themes. 4) Children's cognitive development is stimulated by the presence of playdough media, for example the theme of me with my favorite sub-theme (ice cream), children are asked to make my favorite food (ice cream) then decorate it as creatively as possible. 5) The teacher evaluates the process of the activities carried out by asking how they felt when taking part in today's lesson and informing the children about the learning for the next day. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that playdough games are an effective and fun method for children and can develop children's cognitive abilities. Supporting factors are part of supporting learning to be carried out optimally in learning, namely the teacher prepares the media and place that will be used when learning activities take place and does not forget the collaboration between educators and student parents.

Abstract

Family is the relationship between husband and wife or parents with children. Each of them has a role, the father as full responsibility, the mother is the father's partner in managing household affairs. Both are responsible for the basic needs of the family, such as clothing, food, and shelter. Unlike Single Parents, they struggle alone to meet all family needs. This paper attempts to describe the dual role of Single Paren. Method The research method uses qualitative with the type of literature research. While the method of collecting data is documentation. The result of the study was that single parent parents have a dual role. The main role is to meet the basic needs of the family. Such as clothing, food, and shelter. Ideally, the fulfillment of basic needs in the family is carried out jointly between husband and wife. The husband earns a living by working or both working and managing finances. The results of a married couple's money collection can be useful appropriately. In addition to meeting the basic needs of the family, there is also no less important, namely children's basic education. Children's basic education is called tarbiyatul ula, which is education that must be given to children when children are still young. Children's basic education cannot be replaced with anything. Conditions and situations experienced by parents should not leave important things for the child's future life.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Jaran Kepang dance movements from Wonosobo in supporting the development of gross motor skills in early childhood children at TK NU Al Madani. Jaran Kepang dance, a traditional art form typical of Wonosobo, was chosen as a medium to develop gross motor skills such as balance, body coordination, agility, and dexterity. This research employs a descriptive method with an observational approach to class dance activities, along with interviews with teachers. The results of the study show that Jaran Kepang dance movements can significantly support the development of gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years, with most children demonstrating progress in line with expectations.

Abstract

This article discusses the local wisdom of tape as one of Indonesia's rich and unique cultural heritages. Tape, made from fermented base ingredients such as cassava, serves not only as food but also holds deep social and cultural values. In this context, the article explores the process of making tape, the traditions surrounding it, and its role in strengthening the identity of local communities. Furthermore, the article highlights the importance of preserving the local wisdom of tape amid the currents of modernization and globalization that threaten the existence of traditional cultures. The research method employs a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques. This study aims to raise awareness of the importance of appreciating and preserving cultural heritage, as well as encouraging the younger generation to engage in these valuable traditional practices.

Abstract

Early childhood is a golden period in child development, where character formation, moral values, and love for culture can be effectively instilled, but the development of the times marked by technological advances and globalization poses a great challenge to efforts to preserve local culture, especially for early childhood. Therefore, preserving local culture in early childhood is a strategic step to maintain the nation's identity. This process can be done through the introduction of local culture in a creative and adaptive manner, such as using culture-based digital media, educational games, and cultural integration in school learning, to achieve this goal, of course, a learning design that is optimally designed to help the learning or preservation of culture for early childhood is needed. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study in kindergarten that applies this concept. The results of the study show that the application of learning based on local wisdom is able to increase children's involvement, creativity, and understanding of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were, among others: 1) To find out how the learning process uses the inside outside circle technique in introducing alphabets to group A children at RA Al-Mahmud Aik Ampat. 2) To determine the learning outcomes of group A children at RA Al-Mahmud Aik Ampat by using the inside outside circle technique. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data sources refer to primary sources from the research title, while secondary sources from journals or previous research. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative. The results showed, among others: The results of the learning outcomes test after the implementation of learning with the inside-outside circle learning model continued to increase and showed that the inside-outside circle learning model proved effective for improving the learning outcomes of class A students at RA Al-Mahmud Aik Ampat. The implications of this research for Islamic educational institutions are to always develop human resources with various forms of creativity and innovation. This research is a source of reference or previous research for other studies.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills in early childhood are an important foundation for their cognitive and social development. However, based on observations at RA Usman Baharun Ba'alawi Bengkel, many children still face difficulties in identifying problems, analyzing information, and making conclusions. This situation indicates the need for innovation in learning methods that can facilitate the development of these skills. This study aims to describe and analyze the application and effectiveness of APE Maze “A Dice Adventure” in early childhood learning. The first objective is to provide a clear picture of how this APE is implemented in the classroom and how children respond to this learning method. The second objective was to measure the effectiveness of this APE in improving children's critical thinking skills, using observational data and qualitative measurements. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach to get a clear picture of the effectiveness of using APE Maze “A Dice Adventure”. This method was chosen because it allows researchers to collect and analyze numerical data obtained from observations and measurements. quantitative approaches are very effective in measuring changes or the impact of an intervention. The results showed that the use of APE Maze “A Dice Adventure” had a positive impact on the learning process and the development of children's critical thinking skills. Based on the observation results, there is a significant increase in children's ability to identify problems, analyze information, and make conclusions.
