Abstract

This study aimed to describe innovative services in the Department of Population and Civil Administration of East Luwu Regency, by looking at how the relative benefits, suitability, complexity, possibilities and convenience provided to the community after the many new innovations that arose. This study used qualitative research with phenomenology type and the technique used purposive sampling to determine informants. The results of this study showed that only a few innovations were running normally, such as face to face service innovation implemented in the Office, relying on KTP-el, making online population documents, traveling services and on the street services which were new programs this year. Many obstacles were faced, such as the lack of human resources who understood technology, information and communication, many tools that required rejuvenation and uncertainty in the budget. In addition, the paradigm of society which was still traditional in nature was a challenge in changing people's views in facing technological advances, information and communication at this time.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe how the role of the Makassar big city police in handling cases of domestic violence in the city of Makassar. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The number of  informants in this study were 6 people. The results of this study showed that the aspect of communication carried out by the police, it run well through social media, the community and victims who got violence, the educational aspect was the police did socialization into the community to provide counseling. Aspects of socialization carried out by police by collaborating with the village government to share the PKDRT law to the community. Apart from the village government there were also community shelters formed by integrated services centers of women and children and directly sheltered by the Office of Women’s Empowerment and City Child Protection Makassar. And the aspect of advocacy aimed to provide understanding related to domestic violence in community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the Methods and Stages of Warehousing Supervision in Makassar City. The number of informants were 8 people. This study used a qualitative research with a case study type. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis refered to Miles Huberman data analysis. The results of this study showed warehouse supervision in the city were seen from two aspects, namely the method and stages of supervision. The method of supervision carried out by the Department of Trade had been carried out with several methods such as direct and indirect supervision. This supervision method involved the role of the Trade Office employees as well as the roles of people outside the Trade Office such as the sub-district head, village head, and the community. While the stages of supervision at Makassar City Trade Office related to warehousing in Makassar City were very structured, starting from receiving reports related to violations of the warehousing business area and then issuing the first warning letter and carrying out supervision to the issuance of the third warning letter.Keywords: Supervision, Warehousing

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of green open space policy in Tarakan city and to know the factors that influence the implementation of green open space policy in Tarakan city. The number of informants in this study was 7 people. This research used qualitative research method with phenomenology type. Technique of data collecting was used an instrument in the form of interview, observation an documentation. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of green open space policy in Tarakan city is not in accordance with the regulation that is only reached 18% yet. In addition, the existing green open space conditions are less well maintained. As for the supporting factors in this research is 1) Organizational behavior and interorganizational, 2) Lower-level bureaucratic behavior. While the inhibiting factor in this research is the behavior of the target group.

Abstract

The results of the study showed that the public service at the Department of Population and Civil Registration in South Buton Regency. The implementation had been optimal but it could not be said to be effective as a whole. This was seen in several indicators, namely (1) Dimensions of tangibles related to facilities and infrastructure as well as service support facilities at the Department of Population and Civil Registration office of South Buton Regency were still inadequate so they still needed to be improved. (2) The dimensions of employee reliability in providing services had been optimal but it still needed to increase the number of employees so that the existing services were even better. (3) Dimensions Responsiveness was response of employees in providing services to the community was optimal. (4) Dimensions of assurance estimated service in the completion of the document was not on time yet. (5) Dimensions of Empathy employees had  a good service, they were sincere and give attention. Also, they did not discriminate the community in providing services.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how effective the Public Works Department is in maintaining Makassar City roads. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions/evaluation. The validity of the data is obtained from source triangulation, technical triangulation and time triangulation. The results of the research show that the timeliness of the Public Works Department in the road maintenance program in the city of Makassar is that as long as the program is implemented it is in accordance with the time specified before the road maintenance program is carried out. The Public Works Department has tried to achieve the objectives of the road maintenance program in Makassar City with specific objectives in the form of regular monitoring and evaluation for work on damaged roads. The real changes felt by the Public Works Department and the community with the road maintenance program in the city of Makassar have been well realized because of the many positive impacts of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of e-government icore in improving public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Pangkep district. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study are 1) Elements of Support, Support or support provided by the Government regarding the development of e-government implementation of the icore application is said to be optimal and has received great support since the official launch of the icore application. 2) Elements of Capacity (capacity), Capacity or capacity regarding resources both in terms of financial, infrastructure and human in the implementation of e-government icore in improving public services at the Pangkep Regency Population and Civil Registration Office has been considered optimal. Abstract

This study aimed to find out the implementation and supporting and inhibiting factors of the Family Service Center Sakinah Program at Religious Affairs Office (KUA) Somba Opu Sub-District, Gowa Regency . This study used qualitative research with descriptive type. The data was collected and then analyzed based on indicators. The results showed that the Sakinah program put the headman as the vanguard. In the interpretation aspect, it showed that the technical guidance given in accordance with the technical guidelines for the Sakinah heritage program. Then, application aspects showed a program focused on family resilience. The supporting factor was human resources qualified and supported from the central government while the inhibiting factor were close minded and less awareness about the importance of this program. Keywords: Implementation, Service, Religious Affairs Office (KUA).

Abstract

This study purposed to determine the effect of supervision on the prevention of drug abuse in the Baddoka National Narcotics Agency Makassar City and focused on drug abuse control in the Baddoka National Narcotics Agency Rehabilitation Center Makassar City. This study used a quantitative sample of 53 people by using saturated sampling so that the total number of employees was sampled. Data were collected by using a questionnaire instrument. The data was analyzed quantitatively using simple linear regression. The results of this study indicated that the influence of supervision of drug abuse prevention at the National Narcotics Agency Baddoka Makassar Rehabilitation Agency, there was a significant influence between control and drug control. Therefore, the hypothesis in the study was accepted because it was supported by the significance value. Furthermore supervision of the employee was also influenced by direct and indirect supervision techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational communication on service quality in the population and civil registration department of Sinjai Regency. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with descriptive type. Data were obtained from 95 respondents from 1800 population in 1 month, while the sample used was cluster random sampling. Data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis method with Y = 19,711 + 0,489X with the help of Pearson product moment (r) through the SPSS Version 22.0 program at α = 0.05 level. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between organizational communication on service quality in the population and civil registration office in Sinjai district by 11.8% with a regression coefficient of 0.357 in the interpretation of the regression coefficient in the medium category so that it can be said that there was an influence of organizational communication on service quality in the service demography and civil registration of Sinjai Regency.
