Abstract

The research aims to determine the role of information and communication technology in community empowerment at the South Sulawesi Provincial Social Service. The type of research used is qualitative, descriptive in nature. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that the role of information and communication technology has been carried out optimally in empowering the community. In this case, the role of information technology and communication in terms of informational, organizational, social development, economic development, political participation and cultural identity can be said to be effective in conveying the information provided on the website. Although there are still some people who are sometimes still hampered by an unstable network. However, the information that has been provided is in accordance with what the community needs.

Abstract

This study purposed to determine the government's strategy in Developing Sabbeta, Pising Village, Donri-Donri District, Soppeng Regency. This study l used  qualitative research. Technique Collecting data used interviews, observations, and documentation. The  informants who involved in the development of Sabbeta Village. The data analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicated that 1) The strategy  cost advantage was not applied as a whole due to the silk production process requires a lot of costs, the differentiation strategy was applied through the creation of silk product innovations, and the focus strategy applied was to focus sales on the order system. 2) Several inhibiting factors in the development of the Village Sabbeta waw seen from the low quality of human resources and provision facilities and infrastructure were not really good . Keywords: government strategy, village development

Abstract

This study aimed to find out how human resources management in the Electronic Program Defenitif Plan Needs of Farmer in Bontomangngape Village, Takalar Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative. The informants were 6 people. Data collection techniques were interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis were data reduction , data presentation and verification. Teh result of this study showed that Human Resources Management in the Electronic Program Defenitive Plan for Farmer Group Needs in Bontomangngaoe Village, Takalar Regency was not optimal in this case from the aspect of the target, the estimated needs and the implementation was not quite enough because there were still varios factors such as not achieving the desired target, the needs had not been fulfilled, then ini the implementation of this program farmers still did not understand about the program, but the Planning stage it was quite good because it could be seen from the existence trainer who conducted training by farmers, then at the aggaran stage it was also quite good.

Abstract

The objective of research is to find out the influence of organization behavior in quality of public services in PDAM Office of Makassar City. The type of the research is quantitative. The sample involved in research are and hundred people for society, and the sample used is simple random sampling. In collecting data, the researcher used observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis,correlation, and simple regression. Based on the correlation and simple regression the result of the research shows that the organization behavior quite influential on the quality of public services. The organization behavior variable have a influence and have a relationship with quality of public service variable.Keywords: Influence, Behavior, Public Services

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of sanctions on the discipline of the State Civil Aparatus of the Bombana Regency Transportation Servise. This study user quantitative type whit the survey method. The number of population were all employees at the office of Transportation Bombana Regency as many as 40 people. Sampling using saturated sampling. The results found there was a significant effect by measuring two variables X Sanctions whit the following indicator items: light punishment, moderate punishment, and severe punishment with a result of 85.1% in the very good category and the Y Discipline Variable with the following indicator items: progressive discipline and corrective discipline whit the result of 89.7% in the very good category. Meanwhole, the sanction variable had a significant effect on discipline whit a significant level of 0.001 from the significant level of 0.05.Keywords:Eeffect of sanctions, discipline of state civil servants

Abstract

This study purposed to explain the  implementation of the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program in West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This  study used qualitative research with data collection techniques used,  the instruments of interview, observation and literature study. The data was analyzed intractively andcontinuously. The results of this study showed that the implementation had not been maximally. It was seen from three indicators, namely the organization in this program was not clear and the implementer did not carry out their duties, the interpretations of the implementers were different because they were not given full guidance and  clear technical in implementing instructions and there was still miss communication  implementers and recipients of assistance, implementation did not have clear procedures and uncertain schedule of activities. Keywords: Assistance Program, Policy Implementation

Abstract

This study purposed to find out the empowerment of small and medium businesses (UKM) in the Office of UKM cooperatives and trade in Maros Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method that gave picture or explanation objectively related to the actual state of the object under study. Data collection techniques were interviews and observation and documentation. The results of this study showed that empowerment (UKM) at the Office of Kopumdag was not running optimally. Empowerment carried out by the government in the initial phase was quite instrumental by providing training and counseling. Furthermore, in the participatory phase the community and government had collaborated in developing UKM. While in the emancipatory phase the government was still constrained by the provision of facilities and infrastructure in developing UKM. Therefore, the empowerment of UKM in Maros Regency should provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, so that the implementation of training or counseling could run optimally and produced output that was in line with expectations.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study was to determine the work discipline of the village apparatus after the division in Buriko Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency. The number of informants in this study were 5 people. This type of research is qualitative with the type of qualitative research that emphasizes the subjectivity of human life experience. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the work discipline of the village apparatus after the division in Buriko Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency was not yet fully effective, this can be seen from the indicators (1) Preventive Discipline, Discipline attendance during the Pandemic period decreased so that people were still minimal to take care of all files related to the Office The village as well as uniform discipline and the presence of employees have not been thoroughly disciplined, because there are still staff who are seen hanging around outside the office during working hours. (2) Corrective Discipline, To improve discipline so that things do not happen that have been experienced by some people, the Village Head needs to improve further to supervise his staff who violates the identity of wearing casual clothes to the Village Office despite the pandemic, which can make people confused when they are in the village. Abstract

This research is to find out how the form of competency development of civil servants in the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development Takalar Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research that is sourced from data using purposive sampling technique. and Human Resource Development for Takalar Regency. Data collection techniques used methods, namely, observation, interviews and documentation related to competency development of civil servants in the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of Takalar Regency. The results showed that the competency development of civil servants in the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development in Takalar Regency based on the results of research conducted by researchers was stated to be quite good. This is because it has met the indicators that can support the development of employee competencies seen from the indicators of Formal Education, Education and Training (Training), Courses, Upgrading, Seminars, Workshops and Workplace Traini

Abstract

This study purposed to find out the extent to which the successful implementation of waste management policies at TPS Bukit Asri, Polewali Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. The research method used  qualitative which  described a problem that occurs. The data collection techniques used the method of observation, interviews, and document studies with the number of informants as many as 7 people. The results showed that the implementation of the Waste Management Policy at the Bukit Asri TPS had been  implemented well, this could be seen from 1. The behavior of organizational relations at the Bukit Asri TPS had been carried out by cooperating, committing, and coordinating with the Bulukumba Regency Spatial Planning Office. 2. The behavior of the lower implementers had also implemented waste management. This  seen from three aspects, namely organizational control, work ethic, and work professionalism of TPS managers. 3. The behavior of the target group, namely the community gave a positive response and supported the existence of waste management at the Bukit Asri TPS. Because it was considered very helpful for urban communities, especially in densely populated areas.
