Abstract

Business development has grown rapidly, giving rise to various significant competitions, especially in the automotive sector. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and facilities on customer satisfaction at Yamaha Graha Dealers in Batam City partially and simultaneously. Samples of consumers who came to Yamaha Graha Batam Dealers were 182 respondents. The sampling method used was accidental sampling and the data collection technique used a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of this study are known t-test where the results of the t-test for service quality 4.580> t table 1.653 significant value 0.000 <0.05 and for facilities 8.236> 1.653, significant value 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that service quality partially has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (H1 is accepted) and facilities partially also has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction (H2 is accepted). The results of the f test where f count 98,870 > f table 3.04 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The results can be concluded that the quality of service and facilities simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (H3 is accepted).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the impact Pandemic Covid-19 of March, 2019 in Indonesia. Covid-19 has had an impact on the employment sector. Researcher describe the role of the Batam City Manpower Office in an effort to overcome the unemployment rate in Batam City. The role of the Batam City Manpower Office is to make policies, implement programs to increase workforce competence, facilitate public access to job information, and provide training to the community to become young entrepreneurs. Map out the factors that influence the role of Manpower Office in carrying out its duties and functions. The type of research approach used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Batam City Manpower Office has attempted to overcome unemployment during the Covid-19 pandemic through policy programs even though its implementation has limited human resources and budget constraints. The Batam City Manpower Office has the responsibility to carry out training programs properly in order to produce quality, productive, effective and efficient workers so that they can compete with the industrial and business world. Abstract

ABSTRACT It is suspected that there has been a criminal act of trafficking in persons which resulted in the exploitation of Indonesian crew members on the Lu Huang Yuan Yu fishing boat. This study aims to see how the factors of law enforcement including the obstacles and solutions experienced by law enforcement officers in this case. This research is a type of empirical legal research that uses primary data from interviews at the Riau Islands Regional Police as the main source by using qualitative descriptive methods as data analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that the Riau Islands Police, Batam District Attorney, and Batam District Court have enforced the law on this case as a form of repressive legal protection even though there are obstacles, namely there has been a judge's decision that has permanent legal force for the criminal act of persecution that made Song Chuanyun suspect. Als Song can no longer be prosecuted for the crime of trafficking in persons with the same location and time of occurrence. The solution used by the Riau Islands Police was to use the phrase “and/or” in the Minutes of Investigation which indicated that Song Chuanyun A.k.a Song had participated in the crime of trafficking in persons. These constraints and solutions do not provide legal certainty because they do not provide a deterrent effect for the perpetrators.

Abstract

Profit is the basis for measuring the performance of management's ability to process and operate company assets. For companies, the problem of profitability is very important and for company leaders. There are several measuring tools used to measure the level of profitability, including: return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE) and return on investment (ROI). In this study, the level of profitability will be measured by return on assets (ROA). This study aims to obtain tested explanative findings about (1) the effect of cash turnover on profitability, (2) the effect of turnover of accounts receivable on profitability, and (3) the effect of turnover inventory on profitability at PT Cepat Maju Berkarya. The research design used in this research is causal quantitative. The subject of this research is PT Cepat Maju Berkarya, and the object of research is cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, inventory turnover and profitability. Data were collected by recording documents, then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) cash turnover had a positive and significant effect on profitability, (2) accounts receivable turnover had a positive and significant effect on profitability, (3) Inventory turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability

Abstract

Batam City is the largest city in the Riau Archipelago and also one of the most visited cities both domestic and foreign tourists. This is because Batam City is geographically located in international hub lanes which are directly off to Singapore’s south coast and Malaysia. The purpose of this research is to find out the benefits of the website pages as an information platform of communication that can be used by the Department of Culture and Tourism to increase the number of foreign visitors to the Batam City. This research also aims to find out about how the communication pattern of the Department of Culture and Tourism manage to increase the number of foreign visitors in Batam City. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Technically collecting data in this research means by interviews and observations. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the utilization of the website carried out by the Department of Culture and Tourism in Batam City Office is quite able to help to increase the number of foreign tourist visiting the City of Batam by several factors that affect the effectiveness of information shared through social media website. As well as for the communication pattern used by the Department of Culture and Tourism in Batam City Office, named the downward communication pattern.

Abstract

Changes in stock prices are a very important factor in determining the purchase and sale of shares from an investment activity in the capital market. The share price is a reflection of the state of the company because it must be taken into account by investors in investing. The price of the shares is determined by the supply and demand relationship in the capital market. This study aims to study the impact of profitability ratios and solvency ratios on the stock prices of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. The benchmark of each variable is ROA as a measure of profitability, DER as a measure of solvency. The study method uses quantitative methods. The technique in determining the sample uses intentional sampling. In this study, the population consists of 32 companies and 14 companies as samples. The research condemns the secondary data types in the form of financial statements obtained from IDX. The data analysis method of this study adopts multiple linear analysis, and is processed by SPSS 25 version. According to the test results, it is shown that part of the profitability has a significant impact on the stock price is not significant. At the same time, profitability and solvency have a significant impact on stock prices. Keywords: profitability; solvability; stock price.

Abstract

@semuatentangbatam is an Instagram social media account that contains information about Batam City. This account make it easier for the public to find information about what is happening in Batam City. The author is interested in knowing the credibility of @semuatentangbatam social media account in terms of following Followers information. The research was classified as a quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique of this research was Isaac and Michael with 348 respondents of sample value. The research data were collected from questionnaire and the method that used is share link of the questionnaire to @semuatentangbatam followers.The research found that: a) The results of the data validity test, the data that has been tested on the x and y variables is declared valid. b) The results of the data reliability test using Conbrach's Alpha the value obtained is 0.844 for the credibility variable and the value is 0.874 for the results of the information fulfillment variable, it can be concluded that each variable is considered reliable. c). The results of the normality test, each variable is normally distributed. d) It is known that the credibility variable has a positive and significant effect on the information fulfillment variable. The results of several tests carried out on the x variable against the y variable show that the hypothesis in this study is that the credibility of Instagram social media has an influence on its followers to meet the information they need. Abstract

The industrial world is currently experiencing very rapid progress, this is influenced by technology that is experiencing rapid development. Such industrial developments are widely used by business people in running their business. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance. Data processing using SPSS version 26 with the type of quantitative research. The results of the t test (partial) that motivation has a significant and positive effect on employee performance with t count > t table with a significance value < 0.05, namely 5.357 > 1.970 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with t count > t table where sig < 0.05 is 9.075 > 1.970 and sig 0.000 < 0.05. This is evidenced from the results of the F test where f count > f table with a value of sig < 0.05, namely 82.509 > 2.644 and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 which states that motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance at PT. Yeakin plastic industry Batam.

Abstract

This research is shown to analyze the current ratio and debt to asset ratio against the financial performance of Manufacture Company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study were all food and beverage company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely 26 companies and using a sample of 7 according to the criteria set in the sample. The research instrument is documentation and uses secondary data sources obtained from said companies financial reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used in this research is statistical test with classic assumption test in the form of normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocedacity test and autocorrelation test and using multiple linear regression test consisting of t test and F test, using SPSS version 25 F in this study shows that the variables current ratio and debt to asset ratio together have an effect on return on assets. The results of the partial test on this research is H1 with value at t 1,156 < 2.13185 which means Return on Asset is not affected by current ratio and H2 with value at -9,060 < 2.13185 which also means debt to asset ratio is not affecting return on asset. lastly, on F test, H3 having its value at 42,555 > F table 6,59, which means current asset and debt to asset ratio simultaneosly not affecting return on asset.

Abstract

Film is a form of mass media. The 5 cm film directed by Rizal Mantovani is based on a novel it self was released on December 12, 2012 which was written by Donny Dhirgantoro. The storyline that carries the theme of friendship with adventure stories, a sense of nationalism and also the moral values of Pancasila as well as dialogues with poetic nuances, the novel has succeeded in reprinting twenty-five times. The film, which was released in 2012, describes how they truggle with the character they dream of, namely the peak of Mahameru. The formulation of the problem how to analyze the content of Pancasila moral values in the film 5 cm. the research method is a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis techniques, namely qualitative content analysis. The results of this study indicate that for “the moral massage of Pancasila that appears” in the film entitled “5 cm” is the moral in human relations with God in the form of belief in God. Morals in human relations with other human beings are kindship, caring, help. Moral in human relations with oneself in the form of fear, honesty, patience, selfishness, courage, self-esteem, pride, doubt and disappointment. Moral in human relations with other human in the form of love, willing to sacrifice, kindship, caring, mutual cooperation and help. Moral in human relations with nature in the form of nature. Everything that happen with nature is related to behavior.
