Abstract

                                                            ABSTRACTThis research aimed to: (1) improve the accuracy of consistency principle of materials for the topic of Democracy within the Dictate of Civic Education for class X of hearing impaired students, (2) improve the accuracy of sufficiency principle of materials for the topic of Democracy within the Dictate of Civic Education in class X of hearing impaired students.This research used embedded single qualitative method. Data were collected by means of interview, document analysis, and observation. Triangulation of data and theories were conducted to ensure the data validity. The data were then analyzed using content analysis method.Based on the research findings, it was concluded that: (1) Dra.Wahyu Trimei Pujilestari?s Dictate of Civic Education for class X of hearing impaired students had not fully met the consistency principle and the determined indicators in the syllabus. This was evident from the fact that there were still some indicators of consistency principle that were not covered yet, such as: a. balance of the materials, b. range of the materials, and c. presentation of the materials; (2)  Materials for the topic of Democracy within the Dictate of Civic Education in class X of hearing impaired students had not met the sufficiency principle, of which materials to be taught should be adequate to help students master basic competences. This was proved by the fact that there were several indicators of sufficiency principle that had not been covered such as: a. coverage of the materials, b. connection with Pancasila, c. accuracy of the facts. Materials in the syllabus were not fully listed in the Dictate of Civic Education in class X of hearing impaired students. Abstract

Paying attention to the gap between the fenomenal discource dan movement of civil society in the Indonesian politics in 1990s and its anomali movement in the reformation era, has been be studied the problems of Indonesian civil society in such era using documents and decriptive and critical analysis in order to be sought its ways out using reflective analysis. Instead of being strong, Indonesian civil society in the reformation era really weakened. The civil society those formerly had autonomy were coopted by the state when their leader got power. The leaders themselves looked inconsistent in democratic culture. Moreover, civil society grew as a mean of struggle for power, and when the power was in hand they coopted the state. Besides, the public civility collapsed and the new primordialism, such as etnic nationalism, communalism, and religious sectarianism, appeared. As a solution to civil society?s weakness, is absolutely needed their empowerment through political education prioritizing Islamic ethics based on civic values: civility, autonomy, self-help, self-sufficiency, and social contract. Civility is an ethical solution for solving problems of anomalous growth of civil society as a mean of struggle for power, collapse of public civility, and leader?s inconsistency in public civility. Autonomy, self-help, and self-sufficiency are ethical solutions for solving the problem of civil society being coopted by the state when their leader gets power. Moreover, social contract is an ethical solution for solving the problem of civil society coopting the state.

Abstract

The absence of Muhammad?slast messages before his death related to the continuation of Moslem?s leader aroused the ijtihâd of al-khilâfah. In the end of 10 th century or at the beginning of 11 th century, al-Mâwardy came with great ideas on khilâfah. It consist of qualification and the process of choosing leader (khalîfah), duties that should be done by khalîfah as and individu and as social responsibilities to the society. His great knowledge abouth Fiqh al-Siyâsah (Islamic political), his ability on writing, his experiences as judge, and his ability on negotiation made him accepted by many people. It was also supported by his attitude; srtick, moderate, and brave, his intelligence proved by his skill and his good behaviour.

Abstract

This research aimed to produce the learning model innovation by developing R2H learning strategies based on conservation values in the Civic Education Development for Elementary School course. The research method employed was education research with development approach (R&D).This research was taken place in Elementary School Teacher Education Department of Education Faculty, Semarang State University. The subject of research consisted of students and corresponding lecturers.The result of research obtained by the author was the preliminary study by mapping competency and indicator in the Elementary School Civic Education Development Course, and then designing a product in the form of course learning plan according to the research purpose through reflection thinking, reinforcement & habituation (r2h) based on conservation values that in turn could be used or trialed with the treatment class. Before the trial, the design of learning model product was consulted with the expert validator. Validator gave input related the equilibrium in developing the strategy used and confirmed that the model designed could be trialed, and then the author trialed it with the treatment class using one group pretest posttest design. The result of pretest and posttest showed that there was an increased in the learning achievement from 45.88% to 88.95%, when calculated using N-Gain formula, the score of 0.79 was obtained meaning that the increase belonged to high category, while the questionnaire of model innovation effectiveness showed that there was an increase in learning effectiveness before and after using the learning model innovation from 53.29% to 89.31%. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the learning model innovation was effective to be developed in the Civic Education Development for Elementary School course learning.

Abstract

Islam is a guide for living that Moslems used not only as a religion--studies in the West, but it is also system that covers all aspects of human life. The universality of Islam as a religion and social system can be evidenced from the four aspects: metaphysical, religious, sociological and political aspect. As the faith of the monotheism of God in which is applied in very strong believe, Islam is a universal ideology that can not be equated with other ideology and religion. In relation with politics, Islam provides strong foundation. Nationalism is a small part of the political system of Islam. One figure who has harmonized between Islam and nationalism is Hasan Al-Banna, a charismatic contemporary scholar of Egypt. Through the establishment of Moslem Brotherhood, Al-Banna  becomes most important figure in the Islamic world a successful merge between thought and movement in a return Muslims to their believe.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) to describe the strategies of Pancasila and Civic Education  teachers on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications; (2) to explain the effects of Pancasila and Civic Education Teachers? strategies toward the regular students and the slow learners; (3) to find the enabling and inhibiting factors of the Pancasila and Civic Education Teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications. This study is the descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained from the informants, places, and the documents. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling technique. Interviews, observations, and the documents analysis were used to collect the data. The data validity used the data and method triangulations. To analyze the data, an interactive analysis model was used. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded : (1) Pancasila and Civic Education  teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications as follow : a) making the teaching planning for regular and special needed (autism) students; b) applying the scientific, lecturing, question and answer, presentation, and problem based learning approaches, and applying the knowledge, attitudes, and skills; c) guiding students; d) creating the conducive and fun learning situation; e) having a good coordination with the special a particular advised teacher; 2) the impacts of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers? strategies toward students as follow : a) civics knowledge, regular students were able to understand well, but the slow learners were not. It was because of the slow learner capability is only capable of up to 5 th grade; b) civics characteristics, regular students were able to showing the private characteristics, such as responsibility, discipline, and showing the public characteristics such as listening friends? opinion, are not showing the discrimination. On the other hand, slow learners tended to showing the private characteristics that was responsibility; c) civics skills, regular students and slow learners were able to give opinion; 3) the enabling and inhibiting factors of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications as follow : a) the enabling factors are (1) there was the particular advised teacher; (2) the adequate facilities and infrastructures such as a Puspa room, school?s WIFI, and library; (3) students? attitude that supported the implementation of teachers? strategies in inclusive education; b) the inhibiting factors are (1) there are no variation in teachers? strategies; (2) the allocation of a relatively short time; (3) there are still no special guides for regular curriculum with modifications.

Indonesia gives guarantee for human rights protection by Law No.39 Year 1999 regarding Human Rights. For implementing this Law, Indonesia legislates Law No.40 Year 2008 regarding Elimination of Racial and Ethnic Discrimination.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out whether or not there was an effect of mastery learning model on the mastery of basic competency ?actualizing the freedom of expressing opinion independently and responsibly? in the 7th grade of SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta.This study was an experimental quantitative research. The population of research was the 7th graders of SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta in the school year of 2015/2016. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling one. The sample of research consisted of 62 students: 31 in experiment and 31 in control groups. The instruments of collecting data used in this research were questionnaire, observation sheet and documentation. The validation of questionnaire of basic competency ?actualizing the freedom of expressing opinion independently and responsibly? was carried out using validity and reliability test. The validity used was construct validity. Meanwhile, to validate the items of questionnaire, Pearson?s product moment correlational formula was used. Meanwhile, the reliability test used in this study was alpha formula. Technique of analyzing data used was one-predictor regression analysis technique. Considering the result of research conducted, there was a significant effect of Mastery Learning (X) application on the mastery of basic competency ?actualizing the freedom of expressing opinion independently and responsibly? (Y). From the result of data analysis, it could be found rxy value = 0.980 with N = 31 at significance level of 5% and rtable = 0.355. Thus rstatistic (0.980) ? rtable (0.355), so that it could be concluded that there was an effect of X on Y variables. The contribution of Mastery Learning model to the mastery of basic competency ?actualizing the freedom of expressing opinion independently and responsibly? was 91%. Thus, it could be concluded that there was a significant effect of Mastery Learning model application on the mastery of basic competency ?actualizing the freedom of expressing opinion independently and responsibly? in the 7th grade of SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta in the school year of 2015/2016

Abstract

The objectives of research are find out: 1) policy over the function of farmland in Sukoharjo Regency, 2) factors that cause the occurrence of function of agricultural land and the implications of agricultural land on the welfare functions of the farmers in the village of paste, 3) the solution improved the well-being of farmers in the village of paste after control of the functions of agricultural land after going over the function of soil. This study was a descriptive qualitative method. The research strategy used was a single embedded strategy. The data source was obtained from informant, event/activity and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting data used to obtain and to organize the data of research were interview, observation as well as document analysis. To validate the data, the data triangulation was used. Meanwhile the technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis with the following steps: 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) Data display, 4) Conclusion drawing/verification. The procedure of research included: 1) preparation, 2) data collection, 3) Data analysis, and 4) Research report writing stages.
