Abstract

Based on the results of discussions with vice principal of curriculum section, it shows that there is a need for skills development in field of knowledge and technology. One thing that can be done is training and assistance in making kombucha tea fermented drinks to support agricultural food technology as a business idea at SMKN 1 Wonosari Malang. The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge about the theory and method of making kombucha tea fermented drinks. These service activities are carried out using several methods consisting of outreach; demonstrations and practices; guidance followed by mentoring; as well as an analysis of the evaluation of the service program. This training was attended by 30 participants consisting of class XI students at SMKN 1 Wonosari, Malang Regency. The training and mentoring program for making kombucha fermented drinks has been effective. In addition, students of SMKN 1 Wonosari Malang Regency were able to change and improve their knowledge and abilities in making kombucha tea fermented drinks.

Abstract

Community empowerment as part of activities that are continuously socialized by the government receives very good attention, especially in empowering women. Many efforts have been made by various parties to make this woman empowered, including in the management of bodies where the general public considers that the management of corpse is only a modin task. This study aims to find out how the initial conditions of women in the management of corpse in the Tasikmadu village in Malang and how the process of empowering women and the changes that occur in the management of corpse through demonstration methods in the Tasikmadu village of Malang. This research is a participatory action research (PAR) using the method proposed by Kurt Lewin based on four main components, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study explained that the initial conditions of women in the Tasikmadu village were quite powerful but for empowerment in the management of the remains was minimal, due to the modin as the person in charge of the management of the corpse and the lack of knowledge and skills in the management of the corpse. While the training process uses the demonstration method, which is a method that is carried out by providing direct media, so participants can gain theoretical and practical experience. In the initial cycle, participants explored the theoretical side of corporeal materials in accordance with the Shari'a and corporeal materials. In the second cycle the participants gained firsthand experience to practice the material that had been obtained by the resource persons through puppet media about how to care for the body when experiencing death, bathing, believing, and soliciting to bury the bodies in groups.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide counseling and socialization of MUI Fatwa No. 32 of 2022 concerning sacrifices during an epidemic of mouth and nail disease. This is important to do considering the lack of public information regarding guidelines for the implementation of qurbani from animal selection, quarantine to standardized slaughter according to Islamic law, especially during the outbreak of mouth and nail diseases that attack split-toed/even hoofed animals such as cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats, deer, camels, and includes wild animals such as elephants, antelopes, bison, deer, and giraffes. Community service was carried out at the Al-Hidayah Taklim Council, Ngasem Village, Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java with 50 participants. Prior to the activity, participants were given a pre-test to measure basic understanding of the sacrificial procedure, then a post-test was conducted to measure changes in understanding after technical socialization is carried out. The results of this activity showed an increase in people's understanding of the procedure for sacrificing from elections, quarantine, to slaughtering sacrificial animals and how the MUI fatwa no. 32 of 2022 can be applied as a reference in the implementation of sacrifice in the midst of an outbreak of mouth and nail disease in sacrificial animals.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by the 94 KKM group of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang at SDN 2 Poncokusumo, Malang Regency, East Java, for the 2023/2024 KKM period aim to optimize the school library. Every school certainly has a library to support the learning and teaching process. Library optimization aims to maximize the existence of the school library so that it can be utilized properly and improve the quality of the library. The series of activities carried out included library surveys, collection data collection, labeling books, arranging books on shelves, creating library administration, and creating information boards. Optimization in the SDN 2 Poncokusumo library focuses more on book labeling activities. Through collaboration between students and the school, it is hoped that the SDN 2 Poncokusumo library can be better at supporting the teaching and learning process and developing students' interest in reading.

Abstract

At the end of 2019, a corona virus known as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was discovered and spread rapidly, resulting in a global pandemic. In February 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) defined the disease as COVID-19, which stands for Coronavirus Disease 2019. When the immune system or immune system does not function properly, the body will experience a disease that can cause death. Having a good immune system is an effort to deal with COVID-19. Vaccines to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection are considered to be the most promising approach to curb the pandemic and are being pursued vigorously. Development of Standardized Herbal Medicines and Phytopharmaceuticals in Indonesia, in addition to promoting and protecting the use of native Indonesian medicinal plants, is also for the realization of measures in the community in dealing with controlling the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. This service aims to be able to determine the level of knowledge about vaccines, maintaining immunity, and public health supplements around the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, especially Krajan Hamlet, Sumbersekar Village, Dau Regency which is located 9.3 KM from campus III. The measurement of the level of knowledge was carried out by filling out the pretest and posttest by the respondents.

Abstract

Poncokusumo Village faces serious challenges related to early marriage and juvenile delinquency. Student Work Lecture (KKM) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang responded to this need by conducting outreach activities in Poncokusumo Village on Friday, January 19 2024. In this activity, information was presented regarding adolescent development, factors causing juvenile delinquency and early marriage, the impact juvenile delinquency and early marriage, as well as efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency and early marriage. Apart from that, there was also a question and answer session. Through socialization activities, it is hoped that teenagers can understand the negative impacts of this behavior and can be directed towards more positive choices. Long-term solutions require collaborative efforts from families, schools, and communities to create environments that support positive youth development.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat menjadi salah satu kegiatan implementasi teori dan konsep yang dimiliki perguruan tinggi untuk menyelesaikan masalah nyata di masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengoptimalkan hasil pertanian lokal sehingga lebih bisa memiliki nilai jual dengan memanfaatkan teknologi tepat guna. Dusun Precet memiliki produk pertanian lokal berupa serai yang banyak dibudidayakan warga di setiap pekarangan rumah, namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Salah satu cara meningkatkan nilai jual dari tanaman serai ini bukan hanya dimanfaatkan menjadi bumbu masak, namun dapat juga diolah menjadi teh serai murni yang memiliki wangi khas serai dengan cita rasa serai yang masih kuat. Program ini mendapatkan respons positif dari warga di mana warga Dusun Precet terutama kelompok PKK berinisiatif untuk mencoba mengolah dan mengemas sendiri setelah selesainya acara pelatihan.

Abstract

This journal reviews the formation of student character through religious learning. This study uses the observation method with the main instrument of data collection being students as spectators and the school principal as a resource person by observing, asking and listening to obtain research data. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach where data is analyzed using descriptive methods. Religious education often prioritizes academic success by ignoring moral principles. Judging from the growth of anti-social behavior, such as brawls between students, theft, murder, assault, and other immoral behavior among students, it's no wonder that many students are experiencing a moral crisis. This writing aims to provide knowledge about the importance of forming the character of students, so that they become human beings who have good morals, are religious and of good quality. The integration and interaction of religious and moral education must occur as a result of social growth in reality. Religion-based education can finally form a complete human being through religious lessons, akhlakul karimah students are encouraged to develop positive traits within themselves that can be applied in everyday life.

Abstract

AbstractProgram UIN MENGABDI 2019 secara praktis dilaksanakan di 12 Kelurahan di wilayah KecamatanLowokwaru Kota Malang salah satunya adalah pada Kelurahan Sumbersari yang dijadikan lokasi pengabdian olehkelompok pengabdi. Kekhasan program ini adalah melaksanakan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakatyang dimulai dari masyarakat di sekitar kampus. Penelitian pengabdian pada kluster pembinaan mental spiritualmasyarakat kelompok tahsin Kelurahan sumbersari Kecamatan lowokwaru Kota Malang melalui kajian kritik analitikterhadap kitab al-targhib wa al-tarhib dengan pendekatan komparatif kontekstual memberikan sebuah solusi darikesenjangan yang terjadi antara kondisi ideal dan real yang dihadapi masyarakat kelompok tahsin. Jenis Penelitianyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Participatory Action Research. Berdasarkan hasil riset, prosespembelajaran pada masyarakat dan program-program yang telah didesain dan dijalankan sudah terlaksana dengan baikdan memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat.UIN Program SERVING 2019 is practically implemented in 12 villages in the area of Lowokwaru Subdistrict of Malang, one of which is in Kelurahan Sumbersari which is used as the location of the devotion by thegroup. The specificity of this program is to implement devotion and empowerment to the community that startedfrom the community around the campus. Research dedication to the cluster of mental spiritual coaching communityof Tahsin Village Coffee subdistrict Lowokwaru Malang through analytical criticism study of al-Targhib wa al-Tarhibwith contextual comparative approach Provide a solution of gaps that occur between the ideal and real conditionsfacing the community of Tahsin Group. Abstract

Vegetable organic waste can cause an unpleasant odour and pollute the environment without proper management. One alternative to handling this waste is to process it into liquid organic fertilizer. Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is a solution resulting from the decomposition of plant residues and animal manure that contains more than one nutrient needed by plants. The purpose of holding this counselling is to provide knowledge to homemakers in the RT.03 RW.13 Jatisari Hamlet, Ngajum Village, that vegetable waste can be processed into liquid organic fertilizer (POC). Counselling activities were carried out face- to-face with 25 extension participants. Counselling was carried out through 3 stages: giving material for 20 minutes, training on making liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste and distributing fermented fertilizer for two weeks to counselling participants. The fermentation process in the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer uses Effective Microorganisms (EM4) bio activators which can speed up the composting process. The evaluation method is the method without analysis by looking at the number of participants who have understood how to make Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) step by step. The extension activities found that the community already understood the importance of managing vegetable waste and how to make liquid organic fertilizer from it.
