Abstract

RA Cahaya Insani Sukodono faces the problem of a lack of students due to limited funds for promotion and the lack of innovation in school promotion efforts. This study aims to develop the official website of RA Cahaya Insani Sukodono as a more effective medium for disseminating information and promoting the school. In the current digital era, RA Cahaya Insani needs a more efficient way to spread information, as traditional media such as pamphlets and brochures have limitations. Using the SDLC model with a waterfall approach, the development of this website involves several steps, such as requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The resulting website is designed to provide key information such as the school profile, activities, photo gallery, and online registration, while ensuring user-friendly features, an attractive appearance, and simple navigation. It is hoped that this website will enhance the school's image and provide easier access to information for teachers, parents, and the general public, while addressing the challenges in information dissemination and promotion previously faced by the school.

Abstract

One of the social reintegration efforts for clients or assisted residents of the Class I Penitentiary of Malang City is economic empowerment. This effort aims to make the inmates have economic independence and are able to interact socially again in the community. This empowerment activity is carried out in the form of providing training on processing coffee beans into contemporary products to support these efforts. The research team used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with four stages, namely planning (plan), implementation (action), observation (observe), and reflection (reflect). Analysis of the results of the activities shows that in general, the training activities that have been carried out have not fully resolved the problems faced by the assisted communities. This shows that some of the activity targets that have been set have not yet been achieved. In order to achieve of these targets requires the support of universities that oversee the implementation of the service program. However, the two target activities that have been set have been well achieved, namely increasing the skills of participants in processing coffee and opening up participants' insights about the coffee business/business as well as the opportunities and challenges in the Greater Malang area. Considering the expectations of the assisted communities who want sustainable assistance until a joint business is formed. Therefore, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang together with the Class 1 Penitentiary of Malang City needs to strengthen cooperation and design further mentoring programs for the inmates.

Abstract

Education is an effective way to combat poverty, with teachers playing key roles as facilitators, motivators, and guides in the learning process. In early childhood education, particularly in Raudhatul Athfal (RA), teachers play a crucial role in instilling values of faith, independence, and good moral character in children during their golden age (0-5 years old). This research aims to empower RA teachers in Kecamatan Turen to create social media-based learning content as an innovative method to enhance student engagement.The research method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving 13 RA institutions in Kecamatan Turen, with a focus on training teachers to produce digital learning content. The findings reveal that most teachers already use digital tools in teaching, but there are still challenges in developing digital content that aligns with the cognitive development of young children. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of creating official social media accounts and websites for each RA, integrated into a unified platform at the district level.The outcomes of this program are expected to enhance teachers' abilities in utilizing social media as an interactive and engaging learning tool. Thus, empowering teachers to create educational digital content is key to improving the quality of education, especially for early childhood. Continuous evaluation through feedback allows for the refinement of teaching methods, fostering a more effective and creative learning environment.

Abstract

Constructing dreams together with discovering a unique and communally defined design in a particular place destination in overcoming the problem of waste is an achievement that should be appreciated. Go to Zero Waste must indeed be raised in all circles so that the predicate of producing plastic waste is no longer attached to Indonesia.Inorganic waste from family level activities, whose sustainability is maintained because of adat: is managed together with a simple organization and the amount is limited eventually if accumulated will become a mountain of problems that are resolved, even into results that can be utilized. The solution model can be applied elsewhere in order to solve the problem of garbage from the family level during the celebration. RT 13 RW 03 neighborhood of Tumpukrenteng Village, Turen District, Malang Regency has proven that it can mobilize assets for small things, such as garbage so that it becomes a blessing.

Abstract

This study aims to increase religious understanding through learning the Qur'an in Sempu Hamlet, Gadingkulon Village, Dau District, Malang Regency. This study uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the sampling technique uses purposive sampling and the data analysis technique used is triangulation, the research methods used are observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results obtained from this service activity, namely; First, this activity resulted in approximately 80 children and 40 adults practiced reading and understanding the Qur'an in Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yasin fluently and correctly. Second, the socialization of learning the Koran, especially the letter al-Fatihah and the letter Yasin is an effort to increase the understanding of the diversity of the community in Sempu Hamlet, Gadingkulon Village, Dau District. Malang in the framework of community service programs. From the survey conducted, it is known that all participants feel that this activity is important, according to their needs and provides benefits for their lives. And the majority of participants (90%) stated that they would continue this activity even though formally this activity had ended.

Abstract

Pasuruan Regency is one of the regions in East Java which has a lot of potential in the industrial, trade, education, economic, tourism, and agricultural sectors, besides that, Pasuruan Regency is also famous for its many Islamic boarding schools. One of the Islamic boarding schools that is in the process of pioneering and developing is the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Tawangrejo Village, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency. In addition to studying religious knowledge, students in Islamic boarding schools are also trained for other activities, including entrepreneurship programs, through several activities including cultivating herbal plants, fishing, and animal husbandry. One of the problems in the Islamic boarding school development process is waste processing which cannot be done in an integrated manner. This community service activity focuses on integrated waste processing training activities with Maggot (Black Soldier Fly). The results of this activity, apart from aiming to ensure that organic waste can be managed well, can also develop the results of maggot cultivation into economically valuable products. This activity is carried out using the ABCD method by utilizing the assets owned by the Islamic boarding school. The activity was carried out in the form of simple training on Maggot cultivation. From the results of this training, students and the community around the Islamic boarding school understand the basics of maggot cultivation in integrated waste processing through a simple practicum in integrated organic waste processing with maggots.

Abstract

It takes an intensive understanding of the corona virus and how to deal with it so that the spread rate does not increase. Especially early childhood, including those who are vulnerable to the Covid-19 virus because they do not understand how fast this virus spreads and still have an immune system that is vulnerable to the virus. With the Covid-19 virus, it has resulted in children being unable to study at school, so learning activities must also be supported by parents at home and teachers are also responsible for monitoring children's learning activities. This Covid-19 virus also brings fear and worry to children, this is because children do not understand how they understand the virus and how to prevent it. Therefore, it is very important to carry out socialization or education about the prevention of Covid-19 for children -child. Covid-19 prevention education contains the introduction of the Covid-19 virus, how to deal with worry, and how to prevent the Covid-19 virus through short animated videos that are interesting and easy for children to understand, so that children's worries can be reduced and parents will also understand how to teach children to prevent the virus.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Trisakti Veterans Middle School, Mulyorejo. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the impact brought by KKM UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang when trying to increase the learning motivation of students thereby holding a socialization event with the theme “Socialization of Anti Mager Learning Motivation 2023” which took place on January 6, 2023, in the junior high school hall Veteran Trisakti, Mulyorejo. The authors found the fact that students in this junior high school have low to zero interest and motivation in learning. The socialization carried out was relatively simple but effective. The resource person provides interactive material so that students can interact during socialization. After conducting socialization, the author can see the direct impact felt by students at Trisakti Veterans Middle School. Basically, they become more motivated to learn. They also become aware of the problems that often hinder them in learning.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has led to a rise in online gambling practices among teenagers, particularly junior and vocational high school students. Low digital literacy and lack of supervision make them a vulnerable group. In response, KKN (Community Service Program) students conducted a socialization program at SMP and SMK Dwi Pangga in Bandar Lampung as a form of community engagement. The activities included interactive lectures, discussions, and quiz-based evaluations, covering topics such as the definition of online gambling, its negative impacts, and prevention strategies. The results showed that student participation exceeded the target, with high enthusiasm and improved understanding of online gambling risks. The interactive method proved effective in delivering educational messages, while also highlighting the role of university students as agents of change in preventing deviant behavior among teenagers.

Abstract

Stunting is still one of the serious public health problems in Indonesia with a national prevalence of 24.4% (SSGI 2021). This condition not only has an impact on the child's physical growth, but also decreases cognitive abilities, increases the risk of disease, and reduces productivity in the future. Tegalrejo village, Bayat district, Klaten regency, has a prevalence of under-five nutrition problems of 6.9% with the main challenge being low nutritional literacy in mothers and adolescents. The thematic Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Thematic Group 020 UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta was held on June 25-July 31, 2025 with the aim of increasing community nutrition awareness, encouraging the use of local food, and strengthening the role of adolescents in stunting prevention. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interview, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), socialization, and field action based on community-based intervention. The results of the activity showed an increase in public knowledge about balanced nutrition, prevention of anemia in adolescent girls, and utilization of local food potential. Posyandu assistance programs and simple sanitation improvements also contribute to supporting a healthy environment. The implication of this activity is that the participatory approach based on local potential is able to become a sustainable intervention model that can be replicated in other villages to support the national program to accelerate the reduction of stunting.
