Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relationship between the role of head nurse and critical thinking of nurse to the documentation of integrated patient progress note. The study used a descriptive correlation design, a cross sectional approach, with a sample of 69 nurses who documented integrated patient pogress note, using cluster sampling techniques, through Pearson, Spearman, Mann Whitney and Linear Regression analyzes. There was a significant relationship between the role of head nurse (p=0.038; α=0.05) and the nurse's critical thinking (p=0.003; α=0.05) to the documentation of integrated patient progress note. Critical thinking of nurses is the most influential factor in documenting integrated patient progress note. Here needs to be a policy, evaluation and monitoring of the nursing manager through self-development in the application the role of head nurse, critical thinking of nurse and the implementation of documentation of integrated patient progress note

Abstract

Playing activities provide positive stimulation for manipulative movement skills of children aged 6-12 years. Playing activities, including physical activities that have the opportunity to reduce the risk of obesity in children aged 6-12 years. Playing activity interventions in obese children are recommended on basic motion skills and motion coordination. The purpose of the review in this journal is to show the contribution of playing activities to children's manipulative movement skills. The review method that used was a journal search system with keywords manipulative motion skills on Google. 12 national journals have been reviewed based on playing activity models, methods, samples, and research results. The conclusion of the review results showed that variations in playing activities undertaken by children positively contribute to the manipulative movement skills of children in living their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between hemoglobin concentration and maximal oxygen volume in obese women. This study used a cross sectional study method using 40 obese women aged 18-22 years, body mass index 25-35 kg/m2 and percentage body fat above 30%, normal blood pressure, resting heart normal rate and fasting blood glucose below 100 mg / dL. Measurement of Hb concentration using Easy Touch with a unit concentration of g/dL, while VO2max measurement using the Astrand 6-minute cycle test method. Data analysis techniques used the Pearson Correlation test. The results obtained mean Hb (15,365±1,467) g/dL and VO2max (28,635 ± 4,256) ml/kg /min. Based on the results of the study concluded that there is a positive correlation between Hb levels with maximum oxygen capacity in obese women. Further research is needed to explain the physiological mechanism of the relationship between hemoglobin concentration and maximal oxygen volume in more detail

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is related to the performance of employees, and employee performance is closely related to employee job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of employee job satisfaction on patient satisfaction at the Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital in Malang. The research method is to conduct a study on secondary data on employee job satisfaction from the results of the survey using a questionnaire to all employees, as many as 507 people in October 2019. The study of the survey results shows that the percentage of employees who said they were satisfied in the 6 aspects of employee job satisfaction was the lowest satisfied with the solution to complaints and most satisfied with the training opportunity. To increase employee job satisfaction, training activities, organizational culture, and self-efficacy should be improved

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving various dosages of Solanum betaceum extract on the vitality spermatozoa mice exposed to lead acetate. This research was true experimental using randomized post-test only control group design. The total sample was 40 mice which were divided into 5 groups. Lead acetate used a dose of 75 mg/kg BW and various extracts of Solanum betaceum namely 100 mg/kg BW, 200 mg/kg BW and 400 mg/kg BW. Acclimatization was carried out for 7 days and continued with maintenance and treatment for 35 days. Statistical tests showed that there was a significant difference with (p=0.026). In conclusion, Solanum betaceum extract can be used as a protective to increase the vitality of spermatozoa exposed to lead acetate

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the IGF-1 levels decrease in mice modeled by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Insulin Resistance post carbohydrate high in protein. True Experimental Design with a Posttest Control Group Design research using 36 tails, female Wistar Rattus Norvegicus Strains, 3 months, 100-200 grams and randomly divided into 3 groups, namely K-(n =12, negative control group), K+(n=12, positive control group) and KP(n=12, treatment group). SOPK-IR modeling is done by mice in the injection of the hormone testosterone provionate at a dose of 100 mg/kg BW for 28 days, on the last day after injection a vaginal swab is performed to identify the condition of diestrus. The measurement of IGF-1 levels used the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay method. Data analysis techniques used ANOVA test and LSD post hoc test. The results obtained mean levels of IGF-1 at K- (234.126±32.568) ng/mL, K+ (169.662±30.150) ng/mL, KP (146.528±29.562) ng/mL (p=0.000)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the response of physical exercise as a modulation of PGC-1α to protect against the increasing prevalence of obesity. This research is a true experimental design with the randomized pretest-posttest control group design using 15 obese women aged 18-22 years, Body Mass Index (BMI) 25-35 kg/m2, normal blood pressure, Resting Heart Rate (RHR) normal, VO2max 25-35 ml/kg/min and randomly divided into three groups, namely CONT (n=5, Control Without Intervention), MIIE (n=5, Moderate Intensity Interval Exercise) and MICE (n=5, Moderate Intensity Continuous Exercise). The intervention was carried out at 07.00-09.00 a.m. MIIE and MICE interventions carried out for 40-45 minutes using a treadmill. Pre-exercise blood sampling and 10 minutes post-exercise. Measurement of PGC-1α levels used the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. Data analysis techniques used ANOVA test and LSD post hoc test with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)

Abstract

Obesity also increases the risk of decreased Growth Hormone (GH) secretion. Decreased GH secretions have an impact on increasing body fat and decreasing lean body mass. This study aims to analyze the status of Growth Hormone (GH) in obese subjects and the correlation of GH with age. This study used a cross sectional study method using 30 obese female adolescent Body Mass Index (BMI) subjects 25-35 kg/m2, Percentage of Body Fat (PBF) above 30% and fasting blood glucose (FBG) below 100 mg/dL. Measurement of GH levels used the Enzym Link Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. Data analysis techniques used the Pearson Correlation test with the Statistical Package for Social Science. Results obtained mean GH levels (761.119±504.627) pg/mL and average age (20.863±1.082) years (r =-0.483) and (p=0.023). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a negative correlation between GH status and age in obese subjects

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acute response of moderate intensity treadmill exercise to a decrease in MDA levels in obese women. True experiment research method with the randomized control group design posttest-only design using 21 obese women and randomly divided into three groups, namely K1 (n = 7, control without intervention), K2 (n = 7, moderate intensity interval training) and K3 (n = 7, moderate intensity continuous training). The intervention was carried out at 7-10 a.m. Moderate interval training interventions were carried out for 45 minutes, whereas moderate intensity continuous exercises were carried out for 40 minutes. Blood samples were taken 10 minutes after the intervention. MDA levels were measured using the Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive substance (TBARs) method. The results were obtained at K1 (811,286 ±72,539) ng / mL, K2 (615,571 ± 96,855) ng / mL, K3 (658,429 ± 113,934) ng / mL and (p =0.003)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze acute moderate intensity exercise decreases oxygen saturation in obese women. True experiment with a randomized control group design posttest-only design using 14 obese women aged 19-24 years, body mass index 27-33 kg/m2, percentage body fat (PBF) above 30 % and fasting blood glucose (FBG) below 100 mg/dL, normal hemoglobin, normal systolic and diastolic blood pressure, normal resting heart rate and randomly divided into two groups, namely CON (n=7, control without intervention) and MIE (n=7, moderate intensity exercise). Moderate intensity exercise interventions carried out for 40 minutes using a treadmill. Blood sampling is done 10 minutes after the intervention. Measurement of oxygen saturation using a Pulse Oximeter. The results obtained mean oxygen saturation at CON (98.428±0.534) % and MIE (96.571±0.975) % (p=0.001). Based on the results of the study concluded that moderate moderate intensity acute exercise reduces oxygen saturation in obese women.
