Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using napier rod media in multiplication material on the learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar. This research uses a quashi-experimental quantitative (pretest posttest) control group design. The population in this study were all class III students at SD Negeri 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar with a sample of class III A and III B students. Data were collected using tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique use the N-gain test and independent t-test with the help of IBM SPSS STATISTIC Version 26 for Windows. The research result show that the significance result (2-tailed) is 0.00. Where 0.00 0.05 then the conclusion of the results in decision making is that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of napier rod media in multiplication material on the learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century is different from previous centuries. Education in the 21st century is constructional, utilizing information technology and technology. Therefore, teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in creating learning that can foster students' curiosity. Choosing learning media that is appropriate to current developments is the main factor in success in learning. One of them is Canva, which is a graphic design application that can be developed in the abstract science learning process. The Canva application provides various features and various interesting templates that teachers can access to present teaching material in a semi-concrete way. This research aims to determine the effect of using Canva-based learning videos on students in animal breeding material at SDN 32 Banda Aceh which consists of two classes, namely class VI/A and class VI/B. In this research, a quantitative approach was used, True Experimental Designs research type using Posttest Only Control Design. Data analysis techniques use SPSS Statistics 24 and hypothesis testing using independent t-tests. the results of hypothesis testing with independent t-test statistics obtained a significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05. So the basis for decision making is that H is accepted and H is rejected. So there is a significant effect of using Canva-based learning videos on students in animal breeding material at SDN 32 Banda Aceh.

Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and interviews with students, teachers, parents, and close friends of students. Data analysis in this study uses the male and huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of interview data analysis and observation of the subject that there are reading difficulties that occur in high grade students. From observation and interview activities, there are several factors that cause reading difficulties, namely internal factors in the form of intelligence levels, low learning motivation, lack of interest in reading activities and doing letter omissions, faltering, not recognizing letters and letter reversal. And external factors in the form of the state of the subject's family environment, the economic situation of parents and the lack of supporting media or reading materials. Therefore it can be concluded that learners have difficulty reading, so that during the process of learning activities they have difficulty and experience difficulties.

Abstract

Learning model is an alternative used by teachers to facilitate knowledge transfer activities and ensure that learning activities occur as effectively as possible. The Make a Match model is one learning approach that can be applied in learning process. The Make a match learning model can draw students' attention and encourage them to participate in the learning process by looking for pairs of cards while learning about relevant topic in a fun atmosphere. By using the Make a match learning model, students will be more courageous in expressing their thoughts and will find it easier to understand the information which will encourage student participation. This research aims to describe how is the application of the Make A Match learning model to the learning activities of students studying theme 8 subtheme 2 PB 3 in class IV at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. This study employed a qualitative methodology using a descriptive research design. The subjects of this research were class IVA teachers and class IVA students at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh, with a total of 28 students consisting of 16 female students and 12 male students. This study used a variety of methods, including interviews and observations, to collect data. The data obtained was processed using data analysis techniques which were carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The findings of the observations indicate that the application of the Make a Match learning model in students' learning activities aligns with learning indicators. This is because the Make a Match learning model not only encourages students to work together but also to engage in active learning, giving them the chance to collaborate with friends. Emotional activities indicate that students are starting to get engaged, joyful, and eager to learn about a concept or topic during the learning process. Therefore, the Make a match learning model can be an alternative model that can be applied in the learning process in order to increase students' learning activities.

Abstract

This research discusses singing activities in mathematics learning on length and weight units in Class III A SDN 12 Banda Aceh. This research aims (1) To determine singing activities in mathematics learning on length and weight unit material in class III A SDN 12 Banda Aceh. (2) To determine learning outcomes in singing activities in mathematics learning in length and weight units in class III A SDN 12 Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were 18 students in class III A at SDN 12 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and tests. The assessment indicators in this research are if students are able to convert units of length, solve everyday problems regarding units of length, convert units of weight, solve everyday problems regarding units of weight. The results of the research show that the singing activity in mathematics learning on length and weight unit material in Class III A SDN 12 Banda Aceh was declared successful with an average student learning outcome score of 78.76 and included in the good category. The results of the initial test (pre-test) showed a very low level of learning completeness, namely only 16.67%. However, after participating in learning with singing activities, there was an increase to 88.89% in the post-test. The class average on the post-test was 78.61, indicating an increase from the initial average of 33.88. Based on these data, it can be concluded that singing activities in mathematics learning can improve students' understanding of length and weight units in Class III A SDN 12 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

In the learning process, teachers should use a variety of learning media, where by using learning media, students can more easily understand the learning delivered by the teacher so that they can achieve the expected learning outcomes. For this reason, a learning media can be applied that can make students active and responsive and further motivate students to participate in Civics learning. One of the learning media. that can be applied in PPKn learning is the Pancasila pocket board media. Based on the problem formulation, the researcher wants to know how the application of the Pancasila pocket board media in Civics subjects affects the learning outcomes of students in class II of SD Negeri 22 Banda Aceh. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects of this research were 30 students in class II-A of SD Negeri 22 Banda Aceh. The data collection technique used in this research is by observing and giving test questions to students. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. As for the learning results obtained in class II-A of SD Negeri 22 Banda Aceh with a total of 30 students in the PPKn subject, there were 5 students who got incomplete grades, and 25 other students got complete grades. The average class score obtained was 81, which was greater than the KBM score of 70. This means that the use of Pancasila pocket board media can help the learning process to increase students' knowledge of the material. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Pancasila pocket board media can be used in Civics subjects.
