Abstract

This research aims to describe student activities, teacher activities and to determine student learning outcomes through the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model in social studies lessons in class V of SD Negeri 32 Banda Aceh. The subjects in this research were 24 students, consisting of 13 women and 11 men. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis using the percentage formula. The results of the data analysis carried out showed that there was an increase in teacher activity in managing learning in cycle I, getting an average score of 3 with good criteria, cycle II got an average score of 3.5 with very good criteria. Student activity in learning showed an increase in cycle I with an average score of 52.62 with sufficient criteria, in cycle II the average score was 83.43 with very good criteria. Student learning outcomes show an increase, this is shown by the average value of test results for cycle I of 65 and cycle II of 84.58. This increase has reached the complete indicator. From the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model in social studies lessons could improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 32 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Problem-solving capacity is classified as one of the objectives of learning mathematics that must be achieved by students to solve problem-based questions. Facts in the field show that there are still students who do not understand the right way to solve word problems. So the purpose of this research is to analyze how problem-based learning influences students' capacity in working on word problems on the area of flat shapes in class IV SDN Lambaro Angan Aceh Besar. The research approach is quantitative with the True-Experimental type and the design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group. The research sample was taken from class IV-A (27 students) as the experimental class and class IV-B (26 students) as the control class. The sampling technique is Random Sampling from the 2 available classes and data is collected using pretest and posttest. The data then used SPSS software version 25 and tested the hypothesis by testing the Independent sample t-test. The value obtained from the statistical data analysis results of the N-Gain Score Test with an average value of 0.70 0.70 is included in the fairly effective category. And the Independent Sample t-test with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05, then the decision-making criteria, namely H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So that the conclusion of the research is that the problem based learning model has an effect on the capacity to solve word problems on the material of the flat shape area of class IV SDN Lambaro Angan Aceh Besar.

Abstract

Education is a very planned effort to realize the learning process so that students are active in developing their abilities both in terms of religion, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed for themselves, society, and the nation and state. To realize the goals of education in Indonesia, there are several main factors, one of which is the professionalism of teachers guiding students in class in learning activities. A professional teacher is a teacher who is able to teach students to become a generation that is able to compete and has good ethics and morals. To be a good educator, it is obligatory to have good character as well. Teacher professionalism plays an important role for students because the teacher is the second parent for students at school so that in any case the form of a teacher's behavior will be exemplified by students and as an educator has a fairly tough task which must be able to educate, direct, as well as motivating students to become students with good character.

Abstract

In this research, the researcher focuses on pedagogical competence, because basically pedagogical competence is the teacher's ability to master theory and the application process in learning. So the researcher formulated the research "What is the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh?". The aim of this research is "To determine the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. that pedagogical competence is the ability to manage learning as well as the ability to master theory and the application process in learning. In this case, pedagogical competence is a competency that must be possessed by a teacher. Without pedagogical competence, teachers cannot carry out their profession effectively and optimally. This research is qualitative research with descriptive research type. The data source in this research is class I to class VI teachers. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The data obtained is then analyzed by compiling data, connecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the researcher's analysis, it shows that the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh is still not good. Of the seven pedagogical competencies used by researchers, those that received the fairly good category were the competency to master student characteristics and the competency to develop the curriculum. Meanwhile, the less good category includes competence in mastering learning theories and educational learning principles, competence in educational learning activities, competence in developing students' potential, communication competence with students and assessment and evaluation competence. This can be caused by a lack of knowledge and pedagogical competence possessed by teachers. Teachers also rarely receive training and knowledge regarding education. Researchers also saw that there was inequality among teachers in teaching subject areas, there were teachers who did not meet educational qualification standards. So it can be concluded that the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh is still not good, so it is hoped that teachers will further improve their knowledge and competence to optimize the potential of their students, both academic and non-academic.

Abstract

The problem in this research is "What is the Role of Teachers in Developing the Reading and Writing Literacy Skills of Class IV Students at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh". This research aims to describe the role of teachers in developing the reading and writing literacy skills of class IV students at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh with 35 students as subjects, there were 25 students in the good category, 6 students in the fair category, 4 students in the failed category, and no students in the failed category.

Abstract

This research aims (1) to describe the use of the alphabet clock media in Indonesian language subjects on writing skills, (2) to determine the results of learning writing skills by using the alphabet letter clock media in class 1 of SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were 1 grade 1 teacher and 21 grade 1 students at SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and tests. Aspects of assessment in short story writing skills include clarity of letters, correct use of spelling, correct use of words in sentences, integration between sentences, neatness and suitability to the object. The research results showed that the use of alphabet clock media in students' writing skills was declared successful with an average score of 78.76 and included in the good category. The recapitulation results showed that 7 out of a total of 21 students with a percentage of 34% obtained grades with a very good predicate. Then, 11 out of a total of 21 students with a percentage of 52% received good grades. Furthermore, 3 out of 21 students with a percentage of 14% obtained sufficient grades. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the alphabet clock media is effectively used in teaching writing skills for class I students at SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Abstract (English)This type of research is classroom action research that examines learning activities in the form of actions that are deliberately presented in the classroom. The Picture And Picture learning model is a learning method that applies pictures and pairs or sequences them in a logical arrangement. This study aims (1) To find out the teacher's activity in the learning process by applying the Picture And Picture cooperative learning model on the Material of the Struggle of the Figures in the Resistance Against the Dutch Class V SDN 2 Jeumpa Aceh Barat Daya, (2) To find out the activities of students and teachers in the learning process. learning by applying the Picture And Picture cooperative learning model on the Material of the Struggle of Figures in the Resistance Against the Dutch Class V SDN 2 Jeumpa Aceh Barat Daya. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 2 Jeumpa Aceh Barat Daya. Data collection was carried out using: Observation sheets of teacher and student activities and tests. Data analysis uses simple statistics, namely percentages. According to data analysis, it was found: (1) the average teacher activity in the teaching and learning process cycle I was 2.6, and the moderate category was 3.5 in cycle II which was included in the good category. (2) the activeness of students in cycle I during the teaching and learning process averaged the value of the bad category 2.25, while the good category in cycle II was 3.37, and (3) student learning outcomes during the period of students increased, namely the percentage of students in cycle I became 60 % in cycle II learning success reached 88%.Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengkaji kegiatan pembelajaran berupa tindakan yang sengaja dihadirkan di dalam kelas. Model pembelajaran Picture And Picture yaitu metode pembelajaran yang menerapkan gambar dan memasangkan atau mengurutkannya dalam susunan yang logis. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru pada proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif Picture And Picture Pada Materi Perjuangan Para Tokoh Dalam Perlawanan Terhadap Belanda Kelas V SDN 2 Jeumpa Aceh Barat Daya, (2) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dan guru pada proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif Picture And Picture Pada Materi Perjuangan Para Tokoh Dalam Perlawanan Terhadap Belanda Kelas V SDN 2 Jeumpa Aceh Barat Daya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Jeumpa Aceh Barat Daya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan : Lembaran pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dan Tes. Analisis data menggunakan statiktik sederhana yaitu persentase. Menurut analisis data didapatkan: (1) rata-rata aktivitas guru pada proses belajar mengajar siklus I sebesar 2,6, dan kategori sedang sebesar 3,5 di siklus II yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. (2) keaktifan siswa di siklua I selama proses belajar mengajar rata-rata nilai kategori buruk 2,25, sedangkan kategori baik pada siklus II 3,37, dan (3) hasil belajar siswa periode siswa meningkat yaitu persentase siswa pada siklus I menjadi 60% di siklus II keberhasilan belajar mencapai 88%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of writing conclusions using audio visual aids (AVA) media in class VI at SDN 40 Banda Aceh, Academic Year 2023/2024. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique in this research consists of several things, namely observation, questionnaires and tests. There are five indicators used in the analysis, namely the suitability of the text content to the story, the accuracy of event details, the accuracy of words, the accuracy of sentences, and spelling and writing. The research results showed that students got very good scores on their ability to write conclusions using audio visual aids (AVA) media based on children's learning styles in class VI students at SDN 40 Banda Aceh. This can be seen from the research results in analyzing student data with the lowest score being 75, the highest score being 100, and the average score being 89.5 with a KKM score of 80.

Abstract

The aim of this research is, to describe the implementation of the school literacy program at SD Negeri 51 Banda Aceh and the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the school literacy movement program at SD Negeri 51 Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research type approach. The research subjects were the principal, class teacher and class VI students at SDN 51 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 51 Banda Aceh was carried out based on the habituation stage, development stage and learning stage. The supporting factors at SDN 51 Banda Aceh are in the form of libraries, reading books, magazines and reading corners. There are also inhibiting factors, such as students' poor reading habits and libraries that are not running well because there is no special staff to manage the library..
