Abstract

This study aims to make a temperature sensor using coil wire with an indicator in the form of light intensity and to test the sensitivity of iron, copper, and nichrome wires in responding to changes in temperature. The temperature sensor unit consists of a coil of 250 turns, connected in series with a 3V/32W DC lamp and a 3 volt constant voltage source. As a medium, a room illuminated by a 100 watt lamp was used, where the lamp voltage is adjusted from 50 V to 150 V via slide regulator to produce a medium temperature from 30°C to 100°C, while for the indicator lamps, the light intensity of the lamp is measured with a luxmeter UT383. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between changes in medium temperature to light intensity for copper and iron coils while the nichrome coil is not. From the linear regression on temperature and light intensity data, the sensor sensitivity of copper and iron wire coils is (1.34 ±0.06) lux/°C and (7.33 ± 0.43) lux/°C, respectively. From these values can be known that the temperature sensor of the iron coil is more sensitive than copper, but the copper coil is more precise in indicating temperature than the iron coil. From this research, a temperature sensor unit made of copper and iron coils has been successfully made to measure the temperature of the medium from 30°C to 100°C using a light intensity indicator.

Abstract

Cu2ZnSnS4 is a low-cost and environmentally friendly thin layer solar cell absorber material. The electrochemical deposition method is intended to study because it enables producing films with high homogeneity based on solution precursors. This research review focuses on examining the CZTS electrochemical deposition method in order to identify the effect of the sulfurization process (sulfurization temperature and time) so that the best electrochemical deposition process can be identified for future work of high-efficiency CZTS thin layer solar cell fabrication based on solution precursor. The results show that the Cu2ZnSnS4 layer deposited through the electrochemical method has a 1.4-1.6 eV bandgap range. The etching process to post-annealing 0.1M KCN is crucial to effectively and selectively remove CuS, ZnS, and Cu6Sn5 secondary phases.

Abstract

Climate change is part of the most serious problem for the life of the world community today. One sector that is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change is the agricultural sector. One method that can be used is to see a picture of the future climate by making climate projections based on certain scenarios. The data used in this study are monthly rainfall data at 4 observation points of BMKG stations as well as Historical and Projection model data from the SSP5-8.5 ACCES-CM2 model scenario at 36 points in the West Java region taken from Copernicus ECMWF at https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/. The results showed that a comparison of Oldeman's classification based on the 2 projection data used showed differences, namely for SSP2-4.5 data it was more categorical in class D while for SSP5-8.5 data the classification was in class C except for the period 2071-2100 for SSP2-4.5 data showing classification in class B. It can be said that in the West Java region rice can be planted once based on SSP2-4.5 data and twice based on SSP5-8.5 data.

Abstract

This research aims to validate the method of analyzing the concentration of coffee solution by measuring light absorbance using simple spectrophotometry. Spectrophotometry is a technique that utilizes the interaction between visible light and electromagnetic waves on a substance. Measurement of the absorbency of the coffee was carried out by making five samples of coffee solution with different concentrations, namely 100 ppm, 160 ppm, 200 ppm, 350 ppm and 400 ppm. Absorbance measurements were carried out at visible light wavelengths (380 750 nm). The validation of the coffee has good linearity with a correlation coefficient of 0.9818; 0.9902 and 0.9788. The average precision value for the three treatments was 0.0056% with a Limit of Detection (LOD) and Limit of Quantitation (LOQ) of 115 ppm and 383.33 ppm for (  405 nm 10); 44 ppm and 146.67 ppm for ( 532 nm 10); 70.2 ppm and 234 ppm for (  650 nm 10). This indicates that the validation result of absorbance analytical method of the coffee, using simple spectrophotometry is not different from the standard measurement.
